I ordered several items during recent holiday sale period and one of those items was Confidence in Your BEAUTY SLEEP serum. The serum had obviously partially opened in shipping and spilled over the packaging, contained ascorbic acid which is vitamin c, which had oxidized and turned orange and had a horrible smell. Rather than write a negative public review I contacted the company and advised them that this 1 product arrived in unacceptable condition. I have not received any response from the company. I have used the IT CC cream and other products years ago before the company was acquired by L’Oreal and was impressed with the customer service. It is no longer the same company, there is no customer service except to process orders and the satisfaction guarantee is worthless. I will no longer be buying products from this company.
Faulty bye bye pores powder
Bought the bye bye pores powder, first time opening it and the insert didn’t fit properly inside the pot. It fell out all over me and the floor, the entire pot. Their customer service has been appalling and they are refusing to replace it, despite it clearly being faulty. They just don’t care. Avoid. I will never purchase their products again.
Unacceptable Policy for Consumers
An online order was placed recently where my selection of their product was not what was to be sent to me. I confirmed this with the name of the product when I was sent my order confirmation/Invoice. I immediately contact IT Cosmetics moments later so as to correct their mistake before the item shipped. Their response was that their policy doesn't allow for any alterations or replacement of an item once the order has been placed. They suggested that upon receiving the incorrect order, I simply ship it back (at my expense) where I can than reorder the correct item. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! Not only they had the made the error (as I took a screen shot of my order as the process was somewhat shaky), I'm expected to pay for the returned item for their error. When I asked to speak to a manager, their CS agent said this was possible but to expect a call back in approx 48 hrs. at which point I ended the call and called my bank to stop payment.
These are the type of policies that show a complete lack of care for the consumers today. What would have been a simple fix by merely correcting the order prior to having it shipped, has no turned into a complete lack of faith in this company for it being totally inflexible.

I ordered a gift card for my daughter on 12/15/25 for Christmas and did not have an option to choose a delivery date. I immediately called and was told due to the holiday season, the order would go out based on their volume. I was also told it would go via US Mail. After 45 minutes of repeatedly expressing my dissatisfaction, they told
Me she could use my order number to place an order. It’s now a month later and my daughter has received nothing. After 20 minutes on the phone today, I was told they would look into it and get back to me later this week. I told them that was unacceptable and wanted to speak to a supervisor. Well, there is no supervisor available and I should get a return call within 48 hours!!!! WTF??? I love IT skin care and will continue buying it from Amazon or Ulta. Unfortunately this does

Every time I get a really light color its never the right color and its way darker or orange looking. It cosmetics doesn't know how to shade apparently. I bought the full coverage fair light and its is so orange!!!! Its so annoying. I keep trying to give them a chance and the coloring is always so wrong too dark and orange looking! It does not match the name of what's inside the makeup tube. I like the way the makeup feels but other than that they suck with the coloring of makeup.
Horrible customer care experience
I'm not one to write bad reviews, and I've actually used and loved IT Cosmetics products for years. But due to my recent experience, I will no longer be purchasing from them. I ordered directly from their website, and received my products on time. I had ordered a new product (Confidence in your Beauty Sleep Serum). Unfortunately, I had a reaction to the product. It started burning/stinging and I developed a rash over my whole face and neck that lasted several days. Over the past couple days, I have had to call customer service multiple times and I just keep getting bounced around with people wanting to ask questions about my skin's reaction to the product. I said, I already told you guys about my reaction, I don't care about the reaction, I just want to return the product and get my money back! I have never been so frustrated by a customer service experience in my life. I am waiting on yet another call back from them, and have yet to receive any information about how I can make this return. Now it's Friday, 15 minutes before their US office closes, so I'm sure they will keep drawing this out so that eventually is been 30 days and they can say I'm inelligible. I will never again buy another IT Cosmetics product.
Makeup policies need a makeover
This was my second purchase of the foundation. I took the almost empty container to Sephora to get the correct shade since the name of the shade had worn off. I then ordered this shade from IT. It was not the correct shade because it was too light. I called IT Oct 9th (800) 356-5120 to find out what was the next darker shade to the shade I purchased in August. The rep told me the next darker shade was neutral. She did not offer to exchange since it was outside of their 30-day return. I explained I had been sick and promised myself when I recovered, I was going to wear make-up every day. My recovery was outside their 30-day window. I only had 2 pumps of foundation from the container. First of all, she should have offered an exchange and second of all the neutral shade is nowhere to be found. I am thinking this shade can only be purchased if you buy it directly from IT since they have about 30 shades. The value for their customers is lacking.

Ich habe den Concealer bye bye dark spots von it cosmetics gekauft und nach kürzester Zeit ist die Kappe so gebrochen, dass der Concealer nun austrocknet. Das Produkt selbst fand ich nicht schlecht, aber dafür ist die Verpackung/das Gehäuße so minderwertig verarbeitet, dass ich ihn nur sehr kurz nutzen konnte. Auf meine Anfrage, ob sie mir einen neuen zuschicken würden, kam nie eine Antwort. 33€ ist dafür eindeutig zu teuer!
Unable to remove CC cream stain from white pants!!!…
I have used CC full coverage cream for years. I recently spilled some on my white dress pants before church. I have tried dish soap & bleach & soaking overnight & then washed & the STAIN will not come off. If there is anyone out there that has been successful in removing, please help me!
Terrible customer service…
Got an email saying all skin care products were 30% off. Made a purchase and quickly realized I didnt get the discount. Contacted them immediately and was told the discount only works if logged into my account. I asked if I could cancel or modify my order and was told orders cannot be changed or canceled, even though I placed the order 10 mins before. Asked to speak to a supervisor about other options including a partial refund of 30% of my order and was promised a response but received none. Won't be ordering again.
CC cream caused large spots and customer service didn’t help me!
I purchased the CC cream expecting it to be ‘amazing’ as all the apparent reviews state but it brought me out in big, painful spots. I’ve never had spots in my life! I complained on their online chat and was told to call a number based in the US to make to continue the complaint. I replied saying I don’t want to call as I am in the UK and the chat got disconnected. I then tried a new chat and it said they would email me back. They never did!

Don't stand behind their product
At one time I believe that a cosmetics was a reputable company, but as I come to find out they don't stand behind their product. I had 2 of their tightline mascaras dry up within a week. After getting them and they won't refund me or give me a new product. Why is that such a big company? Can't afford to let go of $20. I don't understand I wouldn't purchase another thing for this company if I was you because they don't stand behind their product
CC-Cream Flop - Kundenservice noch schlechter
Ich habe mir die CC-Cream bestellt und verwendet, woraufhin meine Haut mit einer Irritation reagiert hat. Daraufhin habe ich den Kundenservice kontaktiert, das Problem geschildert und Fotos gesendet. Da das Produkt nicht besonders günstig ist, habe ich nach einer Reklamation gefragt. Anstatt einer Antwort, habe ich einen sehr ausführlichen Fragebogen erhalten, den ich beantwortet und zurück gesendet habe. Seitdem gibt es trotz nachfragen, keine Rückmeldung. Ich bin maßlos vom Produkt und dem schlechten Kundenservice enttäuscht!

Ich bin extrem enttäuscht vom Kundenservice von IT Cosmetics. Ich habe ein falsches Produkt erhalten und seit Wochen warte ich vergeblich auf eine Rückmeldung. Ich habe den Kundenservice über mehrere Kanäle kontaktiert – per E-Mail, WhatsApp und telefonisch – aber bisher hat niemand reagiert. Ich finde das unfassbar bei so einer bekannten Brand... So geht man nicht mit Kunden um!

Etliche Male habe ich über WhatsApp & das Kontaktformular versucht Kontakt aufzunehmen. Das Produkt konnte ich bis heute (2,5 Monate) nach Bestellung weder umtauschen noch retournieren.
Die Produkte sind toll aber nach der Bestellung keine Unterstützung mehr zu erhalten ist nicht vertrauenswürdig. Hauptsache bezahlt…
