I previously wrote a review for IdeaPros. Although my first interaction with this company wasn’t what I expected, they have made an effort to not only hear my concerns but they also apologized about the mishap. That’s really rare for big companies and it gave it a real personal touch. For that I am grateful. We spoke and things have been very pleasant since. I would absolutely recommend reaching out to them if you’re looking for help getting started with your idea. They are pros of course. Do not be like me. Exercise a little patience. I promise it’s worth it. Good luck.

IdeaPros seem totally on the up and up. The front man sales rep I have been working with has been great, very patient with me and has answered all my questions. IdeaPros seem to be the perfect fit for me, the problem is, I cannot raise the $100k needed to engage IdeaPros. Is there a service like IdeaPros where visionaries with what they believe is a great idea can get help with no capital to invest upfront? I am looking for a partner like IdeaPros to come onboard as the catalyst that will make it possible to raise the seed money. I have no chance of raising the seed money as a lone, inexperienced, 65 year old founder. I need a partner to get over that hurdle, I know many wealthy people but they did not get wealthy betting on long shots like me. Any suggestions.

Fred, thank you very much for your reply. I know you are correct and offer great advice. I am looking for a needle in the haystack, I need a young co-founder that shares my vision and has money to invest. Maybe if I post enough things like this the right person will read it.

The venture is likely not the next “big thing”, most likely it will be a sound small business venture, creating a handful of jobs, generating a decent return for investors and providing the founders a good living. That is how I see it. However, what the entity will accomplish is the “legacy”. This business will generate tens of millions of dollars in “new” funding flowing to nonprofits across the country.

It is a damn shame I cannot get this done!

I can tell you that IdeaPros has been an absolute SUPERSTAR in teaching me how to be an entrepreneur and bringing my idea and product to market. We are getting ready for a launch this week when our sample run is complete!!! I couldn't have done this without IdeaPros who I had to competitively pitch my idea to (meaning they might not have accepted me as a partner), then did survey and market research as well as renamed my product and designed the packaging for my product. I knew this was not going to be an easy process but IdeaPros has walked me through the process and I ABSOLUTELY COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH WHAT IDEAPROS HAS HELPED ME ACCOMPLISH!! This process is hard and if you try and do ALL of the things needed to bring a product to market with NO knowledge, you would spend and waste so much time and money trying to figure it out. This is what IdeaPros do! They are the catalyst and mentor for your project! I'm not sure if IdeaPros can help, but perhaps they can tell me if there's someone who can. I have really big ideas (like theme parks and a new kind of movie theater), but I have no engineering knowledge and no money to make them. I feel like only the likes of Disney or Universal Studios would have the resources to build them, but they are too concerned about being sued (understandably) to accept any creative ideas. I am convinced that these ideas could be profitable in the right hands, but fear they are destined to die with me. Am I just one of the millions of dreamers who will never make anything of their ideas or is there actually a way to connect with the right people to make them a reality?

(I'm writing this here because my question didn't really fit the form on the IdeaPros websites and I have seen that they actually respond to the reviews)

I have had no experience thus far with IdeaPros yet, however, I gave a 5 star review because everything I have researched about you seems extravagant. My question for you is when I pitch an idea to you, you like it, we partner and you take a minority position in the company, roughly how much equity will IdeaPros own? And what goes into the equation to determine the percentage of equity you will own?

We have just been going through the process of getting to partner with IdeaPros. It’s such a cool process this far seeing our idea out and getting accepted. Everyone we have meet through this process is always so full of joy. They truly enjoy helping people.

Not a review, but a question. I have two totally separate inventions. For one, I have the prototype. I have contacted inventhelp, but do not have $20k to get started. Is there a way to cut out the middle man & go directly to the sales team of a company?

I'm skeptical by nature and it can be difficult to get me to buy into anything, especially when it comes to my bustiness idea. I knew that I needed a partner, one that could bring the idea that I had into a real, tangible asset that will help other people in the area that I intend to dominate.

Starting the process with IdeaPros was a little difficult at first because the product research phase of development takes a while and I did not have very much communication with them during that phase. One major issue that was out of their control was that the pandemic hit literally the week after I signed with them, so naturally I was very concerned with how things were going: I had put most of my eggs into the idea pros basket.

IdeaPros has made a lot of changes during this time and the communication with my Project Manager has been spectacular since they started doing weekly updates. The results of product research were well dome, laid out in a very professional manner and presented to me in an easily understandable format.

The team is great. I can't say enough good things about the marketing and research team, not to mention the developers. They have so many great ideas that I never considered and they are presented to me in a way that is straight forward and easy to understand by a business noob like me.

I can't wait to see what the future holds for me and this partnership as we work to develope my idea into a reality.

Update:
I have decided to update my review. My project is now going on almost three years into development and the process has not been very smooth. One of the major issues Ideapros has is that they have too many projects to run and not enough resources to handle changes in a nimble manner. It's not completely their fault, the development process has dragged on so long that my ideas of what the product should be have evolved from the original generic template idea, which given this amount of time, I would probably have been on my third version of my app.

Final update: The app that I was delivered did not meet the promises I was made when I signed up. The app had no monetization built in, I had to add that later. The app took three years to develop, which basically put me in Chapter 11 bankruptcy with trying to meet my payment obligations and praying everday that the app would be done. I had to pay 20,000 dollars extra to get the app to even include any astrology, I mean, it was an astro yoga app. The bottom line was I spent 20k on advertising to get people customers, which I did. Out of 200 sign ups, not one person bought a subscription. This wasn't a me issue, I did what I needed to do. I was delivered a garbage product.

We will be launching our Landing Page the week of Thanksgiving. Then, we will be launching the Website the week of Christmas. According to The King of the NEW Silicon Valley, our software will be finished in late February, and the BETA test will start shortly after.

This is not a review but a question. Do y'all do trademark ideas?

Okay, so I have been with Ideapros now for 2 years,and from the beginning to now its been okay. I feel that the only thing lacking is good communication and letting the Entrepreneur learn the process to what it takes to bring the idea to life,keeping weekly updates, spend more time explaining how the process works. I think that personally some of the things they had me do could have waited until my project was further along then I could have saved a little more money to have when I needed it most.. I also think that Ideapros should listen to the entrepreneurs more about the idea itself, because at the end of the day its still the entrepreneurs baby. I think that all entrepreneurs need to know that you really need to have Patience, thats one thing I lack and its hard to except, this whole process takes time. My overall experience with Ideapros on a scale 1-10
I have to say is a 9.....I would recommend them to anyone that has a great Idea.

IdeaPros for me has been like going to the Mall of America. You have all the tools and the expertise all in one place.

I was interested until I asked for a different NDA that was not so one sided on their behalf. I expressed concern about the arbitration and how in their NDA, all arbitration had to take place in California. As an inventor, it is important to look out for your invention. Dont use their NDA.
In response: The reason I left three stars was I believe the premis behind what Ideapros.com can do is decent. Your company protects its interest and any other company must protect their interest. If ideapros.com were to invest $500,000 in a company, you will do what is needed to protect those investments, The same can be said for a company with a great innovative product like propertytaxdr.com.
Admittedly, it was disappointing not being able to agree on something as simple as an NDA. I must protect my investment and in the event that something went wrong, it would come at a large cost to my company to send Attorneys to California.

I am excited to begin working with Idea Pros concerning my invention to assist the human population on conquering any and all addictions out there that they are experiencing.

When I first started looking at Ideapros my wife and I were very skeptical. There are just so many people out there trying to take advantage of us dreamers and creators. I did lots of research on them as a company and individually. They just seem to good to be true. We took the leap of faith and now I'm well into the process but not yet at the end. I've partnered with ideapros and so far I am extremely pleased that I did. They literally provide ALL the expertise that I lack. I am fully confident in all the team at ideapros and that they have no desire to take my money and run or to just tell me what I want to hear. I am convinced that their one and only goal is to see me and my idea succeed in the marketplace. This is why they won't just take any idea or dreamer. If you've got a great idea, give them a try. You won't regret it.
