ICFunded is an unreliable organization.
I bought 2 accounts of $50,000. I was lucky to pass the funding round for the second account.
The KYC process went normally, but IC announced an apology and did not provide a direct account.
I asked for the reason but only received a sincere apology from the IC floor.
They only asked me to process the information that I had refunded the purchase of 1 account.
After a lot of negotiation via email, ICFunded agreed to refund the purchase of 2 accounts.
However, the refund process was not carried out immediately, I had to continuously request by email. ICFunded refunded nearly 2 months later, but only refunded the purchase of 1 account.
There are 2 issues that I think make ICFunded unreliable, almost scamming traders:
1. Not providing live accounts when traders pass the challenge period.
2. Agreed to refund for buying 2 accounts but did not do it fully. Tried to delay for 2 months for the half refund process.
If you are a trader preparing to participate, you should refer to my case to make sure you are not like me: losing both time and money because of ICFunded's confusion

Unfortunately, your account didn’t pass our KYC screening, which is a non negotiable step in order to maintaining a safe and compliant environment for all our clients. Even so, we made an exception by refunding your evaluation fee something we are not obligated to do under our policy.
However, requesting a refund for an evaluation that was not successfully completed goes beyond the goodwill we extended.

Contracting passing services, give the account to a third party to pass the evaluation or any form of rule-breaking compromises the integrity of the evaluation process. Not a good prop firm, their 8% maximum draw down is based on trailing balance, for example if you buy a 100k account and make a profit of 6k and your balance goes back 97k you loss your challenge.

I even had had a buy LIMIT execute above limit price. Commissions are extremely heavy so doesn’t accommodate lower time frame trading. Honestly just a BTEC 5ers but I chose icfunded due to 5ers randomly leverage restricting you for passing their accounts

We believe a market execution provides a more transparent and authentic trading experience compared to instant execution models. While instant execution providers may offer fixed pricing, it often comes with larger spreads and the risk of requotes if an order cannot be filled. With our approach, there are no requotes your orders are executed at the next available price, creating a much more realistic trading experience.
It’s also important to note that slippage isn’t inherently negative; it can work in your favor through positive slippage, depending on market conditions and price movement. This dynamic reflects real market interactions and offers traders a fair and realistic trading environment.

I completely agree with one of the guys…
I completely agree with one of the guys here who complained about slippage. Many of the good reviews are because people are associating IC Funded with IC Markets. They are two different companies. As IC Markets has flawless price action and execution, i found it completely different when it came to IC Funded. The slippage is beyond normal. I was slipped 4 pips during a quiet london session with no news events in sight. IC Funded also reduced their daily and maximum drawdown for the 100k and above evaluations to 4% daily 8% max drawdown from 5% and 10% respectively.
Many of us came here very excited due to the association of IC Markets but the trading conditions are completely different. Please IC Funded, you need to remove whatever plugin you installed to manipulate slippage. 1 or 2 pips during volatile markets would make sense but 4 pips during a slow session is extreme. What's funny is i previously had 2 25k accounts with them before and execution was perfect with MT5. My new 50k account using MT4 is the one that is a disaster.
You can do better, please fix this. Thank you

Slippage occurs due to a variety of factors. For example, during high-volatility periods, market prices can change rapidly, causing execution prices to differ from expected ones. Additionally, factors like internet connection stability, latency from your trading terminal to the server, and order processing time also play a role.
For your reference, IC Funded's server time and charts operate on GMT+2 (or GMT+3 during daylight savings). Trading hours for all currency pairs are from 00:01 to 23:59 server time daily (23:57 on Fridays), and for Gold, from 01:02 to 23:57 server time. We mention this because we observed that you have been trading a highly volatile metal during periods of significant market activity. While a slippage of 4 pips is not ideal, it is not uncommon, particularly on positions of 250 ounces like those you have been trading.
You also noted that in your previous evaluations, your executions were more favorable. However, it’s important to keep in mind that markets are highly dynamic, with liquidity and volatility capable of fluctuating significantly from one day to the next.
Our evaluations are designed to replicate real market conditions as closely as possible, and we ensure that prices are streamed equally to all our traders.
Finally, please note that the changes to the daily drawdown (reduced to 4%) and maximum drawdown (reduced to 8%) for evaluations of $100k and above apply only to new evaluations. Existing evaluations remain unchanged.
The purpose of our evaluations is to identify skilled and disciplined traders. By making higher-tier evaluations more challenging, we aim to ensure that these accounts reflect a higher level of trading proficiency compared to entry-level evaluations.

what a total scam.... so stage 1... was so good and smooth... 80% of stage 2 was smooth.. from there the dev's added 3x the slippage to my account added lag to the sever.. made scalping basically impossible... i have both Demo C trader and a live account on IC markets and never ever had problems like this... this is total manipulation on there part to make it as hard as possible for u to pass or to get a payout....disgusting.... how can they slip someone 3X the spread.....im very sad and disappointed IC funded.... you guys are not honest and not fair... STAY AWAY guys...

We understand how frustrating it can be to breach the evaluation phase, especially when you’re so close to reaching the Funded Account, however we have reviewed your trades and we can confirm were correctly executed.
We do not manipulate prices in any way. The prices on our platform are streamed directly from our liquidity providers and are consistent for all clients. Regarding execution, it’s important to note that markets are dynamic and influenced by current liquidity and volatility. Events like economic releases and rollover periods can increase the likelihood of slippage.
Our demo evaluations are designed to replicate real market conditions as closely as possible. During certain periods, such as economic news releases or rollovers, the market can experience slippage or execution delays, which are natural aspects of trading in live environments.

scam company. they refused payment and banned me right after i made a withdrawal request. and they didn't give any specific reason, and also didn't have any proof. with such a ridiculous refusal email, i believe they can send it to all customers right after customers request withdrawal. I only have 1 account with them, I followed all the rules and tried my best to trade and make profit. But what I got back was a payment rejection and ban email, no specific reason given. Here is the content of their email: "Our risk team has identified trading practices in your account that you have engaged in prohibited trading practices, which violates our terms and conditions, specifically those outlined in Section 9 regarding Forbidden Practices. While we cannot provide specific reasons for individual account closures, general factors that may lead to such decisions include: Hedging across accounts Arbitrage strategies Multiple accounts using the same IP or sharing the same CID Third Party passing services Disclosing specific reasons or detailed evidence for account rejection could enable circumvention of our detection protocols, and help individuals bypass the detection methods we have in place. According to Section 9.12 and 9.13 of our Terms and Conditions: IC Funded reserves the right to suspend any activity on the account of a Trader and suspend the provision of Services for investigation purposes if we suspect the use of forbidden practices. If we have reasonable grounds to believe that a Trader was in breach of Section 9, IC Funded has the right to terminate this Agreement immediately. Given these findings, your account will be deactivated, and you will no longer have access to our services, including any ongoing Evaluations. Please be assured that this decision was made following careful consideration and adherence to our policies to maintain the integrity and fairness of our trading platform."

Your account was reviewed by our Risk Management Team, and it was found to have violated the Terms and Conditions, specifically those outlined in Section 9: Forbidden Practices. These rules are in place to maintain the fairness and integrity of our platform. While we understand your dissatisfaction, the decision to deactivate your account was made following an investigation and based on evidence of activity that breached our policies.
We explicitly state in our terms that activities such as hedging across accounts, arbitrage strategies, multiple accounts with shared IPs, or the use of third-party services are strictly prohibited. These rules are non-negotiable and apply to all traders equally, as they are essential to protect both our business and other legitimate traders.
We invested in identifying skilled and consistent traders to fund. Two-legged strategies artificially manipulate outcomes, allowing traders to pass an evaluation on one account while deliberately failing the other. This undermines the evaluation's purpose and allows unqualified traders to gain funded accounts.
The evaluation becomes less about skill and more about exploiting the system, defeating the firm's goal of finding genuinely profitable traders.

Slippage is so high
I purchased the 250k challenge, but the slippage is unbelievably high. When I hit the target, it’s less than expected, and when the stop loss is triggered, it’s nearly double what it should be. It’s frustrating.

Thanks for your feedback, however we are surprised to read this , as our executions are among one of the best in the current market, when you trade big lots slippage is a normal market occurrence, if in top of that, if you do this during periods of high volatility like news, rollover periods or with minor or exotic pairs, the changes of being filled with slippage increases dramatically.
Our evaluation environment closely replicates real market conditions, and these factors should be considered just as they would be in a live, non-virtual setting. If you'd like a detailed analysis of your trades, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
SCAM
SCAM - stay away!
I passed the 2 phase challenge with IC Funded. Next, KYC had to be done which is an automated process. For some unknown reason the system was not able to complete the process, although I provided all the documents required. I opened a support ticket with ICFunded, explaining the situation and was told that their KYC team is reviewing my documents and they will let me know when done. No further documents, calls or anything else was asked by ICFunded. Nobody from ICFunded came back to me.
Next, after about 2 weeks, I receive an email that the account was hard breached without ANY explanation.
I'm guessing anybody can draw their own conclusions about this prop firm...
Please note that I have several funded accounts with 5 other reliable prop firms, where I provided the same documents for KYC and had absolutely no issues.
Review update to ICFunded response:
Your allegations are outrageous! No evidence of altering documents have been provided! As long as your processes are not transparent and no real communication or customer care is provided, these are just empty words which show that your decision to terminate the account is arbitrary and has nothing to do with the ID documentation provided.

Thank you for your review. We want to make it clear that passing our KYC (Know Your Customer) process is not optional it is a mandatory requirement for receiving a funded account. Any attempt to modify, or alter documents during this process will not be tolerated under any circumstances. We have zero tolerance for any breaches of compliance, and failure to adhere to this policy will result in immediate disqualification from the program.
