My account got disabled for some reason. To contact support I needed to log in to my account which I can't because it's disabled. I rang customer support. There was no accounts selection so I got transferred to tech support. They took down my information and said someone will contact me. They did not contact me. So now I can't get back in. What a complete and utter shambles of a company you are. One star is too much.

Got this message from them when I reported having trouble with my credit card. Trying to migrate an entire app db to them. What terrible messaging:
We have reviewed your account/transaction and will not be able to offer services. No further information will be disclosed regarding this matter.

If there was a ‘no star’ rating, that’s what I will give them. From their inaccurate weather forecasts to their customer service totally sucks! I am way over 87years of age. We grew up breathing IBM. What happened? It’s a waste of time to try their services, as they provide ZERO support to their apps and no way to contact them.

After I spent three days chasing customer service:

We have reviewed your account/transaction and will not be able to offer services. No further information will be disclosed regarding this matter.

What a joke

Absolutely shambolic, lazy, disconnected project team. No leadership, guidance, constant excuses for not progressing, no initiative and no drive. In ability to provide simple project templates to drive progress.

How did IBM become like this?

I have used VPC cloud. My hypervisor and vms are running with lot of functionality. I can highly recommend ibm :-)

I wanted to use their cloud services for data anlaysis and tried to register with my credit card. The credit card verification failed three times. I wrote to them quoting the error that I get and they wrote to me that they can not offer me services and they won't even tell why. The tone of the email was so rude and it is also so rude to not offer services without telling why you chose not to offer services to someone.

Update 12/05/2022: When billed in the local currency, there appears to be a delay of about 30-60 days to reflect service items changes on the actual invoice. Added one star.

IBM has billing issues due to two badly integrated invoicing platforms - charging incorrect amounts to the card.

I have flagged this to IBM support ref CS2771133

If IBM fails to get the billing right, IBM will fail on more serious projects. Take your business elsewhere.

There was a simple problem with my credit card (wrong CVC code entered) and I got a number and a code to get in touch in order to solve the problem, what I did. The answer that I got was exactly this:

"Hello,

We have reviewed your account/transaction and will not be able to offer services.

No further information will be disclosed regarding this matter.

Regards,
Cloud Trust Enablement Team"

Jeg har prøvet at købe SPSS 3 gange de seneste dage. I fredags havde de slet ikke kontakt til deres kreditkort service.
Jeg prøvede så chatten og giver alle oplysninger og vedkommende lover at sende det hele pr mail. I dag søndag har jeg ikke hørt fra ham.
Derfor prøver jeg igen at købe direkte online, 3 gange går det fint igennem security og alligevel er det noget der går galt.

Så vil jeg prøve at oprette en ticket, men løber ind i samme problemer som Salamah beskriver, nemlig at det er umuligt. Det er som om de ikke vil have nye kunder.

I bought a 1-year subscription for SPSS. After two weeks, my SPSS all of a sudden said that I did not have a subscription. I called five different IBM support numbers. After numerous rounds of being transferred, I was sent to account receivables, which sent me to SPSS support, which sent me to online support. I was asked for a customer number. I was told by one agent that I am not given a customer since I am a 1 year subscriber. I have an order confirmation number from IBM but this was useless. I was asked for a case number. I could not get a case number because no one would take my case. The "chat with an agent" on line, told me to submit an online case, which also needed my customer number, so I could not get a case number on line either. I pleaded with everyone I spoke with about my seemingly simple issue, my ordeal in trying to find help (over 4 days now of numerous call, chats, etc), and they would... ask for my customer number (AGAIN).

Great company to work for, great ethics and work environment.

Unethical company, how the once great name of IBM has fallen so low. Watch out for auto-renewal being turned on for year long contracts without you realising and then them refusing to cancel the service even when requested immediately (same day we got renewal confirmation through we asked their support to cancel and refund). We have stopped using them for all business services.

Signed up excitedly and got my conformation emails. Then I had to sign in to get started. IMPOSSIBLE. seriously I tried everything. It says that either my password or email was wrong but i went straight from the conformation email that they sent.
They have lost a customer today. Waste of my time. 🤬

Terrible company with a complete lack of transparency. IBM's facebook page also received a plethora of negative reviews and they responded by removing the reviews from their page. This is a slimy company that is a danger to democracy as a whole. Even a small amount of research will reveal the corruption and immorality that this company thrives upon.
