I approached Hunter Lawyers to ask for advice on a matter I had been researching for a couple of weeks. They offer a free 1 hr consultation which, I had with Lucas Hunter.
I explained the situation I found myself in and he took notes in a chronological order. He took my matter very seriously and was instantly very confident he could achieve a positive outcome. He explained 3 options of payment. 1 was a no win no fee. However, he was VERY clear that I could end up paying more than was necessary for my type of case as this was 35% plus some other costs. The second was a fixed fee and the third was hourly. The benefit of the fixed was I could speak to him as much as I needed to.

I decided to take on his services as I was extremely happy with the plan of action he was proposing to take and felt confident.

The matter was extremely stressful for me however, I felt when Lucas was in meetings there was always someone I could speak to. His receptionists were always available and on one day when I was unable to get hold of him I was able to speak to another Solicitor Alexandra Tomley who, was able to advise me.

Lucas always got back to me on email and we were able to arrange several telephone conferences. Between the 3 of us the matter was resolved in 3 weeks.

What I would say is be prepared to work yourself and be patient. They are very busy due to Covid and arranging a face to face is more difficult. However, Lucas gave me back the control and confidence to hold firm and not give up. I was extremely pleased with the outcome. He tells you how it is and does not rush you into making a decision. He is also very patient and calm.

Highly recommend and will definitely be using their services again.

I first contacted the Team at Hunter Lawyers, I spoke to Kelly on Reception who arranged a free telephone conference call with Alex (Solicitor) who was very friendly, this is the first time I have needed as solicitor and felt very nervous to say the least.

Alex put me at my ease and fully explained the whole process and she informed me that I did not need to attend an Employment Tribunal, Alex would send a letter to the Company to arrange a Settlement Agreement, which worked perfectly and the Company settled without any further stress.

I found this local company on line when looking for some help with making a Will and was introduced to the lovely Sara Bellringer.
Whole process was very straight forward and easy to follow. No lingo I could not understand.
I would also like to point out that I was trying to arrange this during the COVID-19 lockdown and Sara and her colleagues went above and beyond to make sure I could get my Will signed. Of which I am extremely grateful.

Not sure of which solicitors to choose from , I selected HL from the reviews I had read and I wasn’t disappointed.
From my first meeting to the last I received excellent service, from Kelly the receptionist, Jeff ( who has the most impeccable manners ) Gary , Alex and last but certainly not least ,Lucas.
In what were exceptionally difficult times for us , Lucas was able to
cut through the mounds of paperwork and evidence I had and drill down to the details which he was then able to present and demonstrate to me that I had a very strong case. In the early days when I had a battle with my insurance company around funding , he went the extra mile to engage the services of a barrister for me resulting in the first of his successful outcomes. I say first because he later went on to very successfully conclude my case for me.
I have absolute trust and faith in Lucas and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or indeed use his services or that of his business, HL ‘s again.
