We did a lot of research before we found the right breeder to help us find a new puppy to replace our beloved family dog who died last year. From the outset, we were very impressed by Humphries Poos and the thoroughness with which James addressed our questions. We appreciated the fact that we could visit and see pups with their Mums and everything about the set up felt right. We brought our gorgeous little Millie home last month. She has a lovely temperament and has settled in well. Our vet said that the puppy paperwork from Humphries Poos was immaculate and Millie passed all her initial health checks with flying colours. Friends were amazed by the range and quality of goodies you receive with your puppy pack. We had a few practical queries, which James has answered, and the settling in and training guides provided have been really helpful. So all in all - we are really glad we chose this breeder and would definitely use them again.

Heartbroken. We are still waiting for the return of our deposit after the cockapoo pup that the girls had adopted was sold to another family. After travelling w/ our three daughters from Switzerland to the north of England to visit the breeder & choose the pup, we were subsequently informed that it had been sold to another family. The breeder said that the original pup had issues w/ its coat which made it unsuitable but given that our daughters had adopted it we did not care. The girls (and their parents) were obviously distraught that "Scout" was not going to join our family. Although not the most important issue - we are still waiting for the return of the deposit despite several reminders. I have just read an earlier review from Julie who also stated that she did not receive a refund of her deposit until she filed a complaint - which will be our next step. For anyone looking into buying a cockapoo from this breeder (name appears to have have changed over time as well - Raffles/Humphries/Cheshire) also look at ilovemycockapoo.com which also has more reviews. We picked up our beautiful cavapoochon Daisy on the 1st November 2021(6 weeks ago). From day one she has been so relaxed and content in our home and brilliant with our two children. Is not afraid of hoovers , fireworks etc and is so friendly , loving and brilliant in busy/social situations… although she wants to kiss/lick everyone. She was quick to learn and knows all her tricks with the last being a brilliant recall off the lead in our village field. Daisy is 90% toilet trained outside which was done after a couple of weeks and just the odd accident. She travels well with no sickness and will settle with us in dog friendly pubs/restaurants and brings a lot of attention. She settles well and will sleep all night 8-9hrs in her bed under the stairs without a peep which has been for the last 3 weeks. James has been so helpful throughout, with regular updates , pictures and videos. Understanding everyone is busy he always replied which may not have been instant, but he replied and responded to questions/calls which is all anyone asks for. I asked direct questions around poor reviews which he has no Shame in answering and there is always two sides. Our vet checked Daisy after 3 days of having her and was happy with health and paperwork. We could not of asked for a more beautiful dog with a service to go with it and brilliant seller being James. It’s there business and their passion, of course they want to make money it’s a business … but they provide the lovely, healthy puppies at the end with full vaccination, microchip and a bag of fab toys , blankets , treats and Ooddles food which we have so far stayed with. Can highly recommend and thank you James.

We brought our gorgeous Cavapoochon home from Humphriepoos 4 weeks ago and she has been the most amazing puppy.From the first night she has slept contentedly all night without waking to go out.She was beautifully clean and eats well and has fitted into our family with our two other dogs as if she has always been here.James was so helpful when we were first asking all our questions and answered all our queries with total honesty.He was never pushy or pressurising at all,we were probably much more pressurising to him!I can highly recommend buying a puppy from James and we would never hesitate to buy another in the future.

I truly cannot express how grateful we are to have found Humphriespoos! From start to finish, James was extremely helpful and quick to respond. I flew to Manchester from Latvia to pick up our sweet pup, and when I landed James's grandfather was there to greet me. Not only is our new girl pup, Vino, smart and playful, but she LOVES all the dogs and people she meets. Also - her sable coat is truly gorgeous!

James provided us with food, toys, a blanket, brush, etc. but also gave us an incredibly useful guide which has been so helpful for training.

Vino has become a part of our family overnight. We find so much joy in watching her grow and could not love her more. I HIGHLY recommend Humphriespoos, even if you are outside of the UK, as it was such an enjoyable experience acquiring the newest addition of our family from them!

Avoid at all costs! We paid a deposit for a puppy in July, and then discovered the health certificates for both the pups parents were incomplete / out of date / unsigned, so we decided not to risk getting pup after false advertising on the website, we completed another 7hr round trip to speak to James in person and ask for our deposit back, he refused. So after numerous emails were ignored I filed a small claim, this was ignored, so I filed a CCJ for the return of my deposit, which was eventually paid a few days ago. Do your research and find an ethical home breeder instead.

I collected my puppy from James in early March 21. The communication before collecting her was great & James was happy to answer all of our questions. We were really worried as you hear so many horror stories however James was able to clearly evidence (we collected her in person) that his dogs and puppies are well looked after, healthy, happy & well socialised.

I thought I would wait to write a review to see how she turns out. Of course I would like to attribute her many positives to my parenting however I know the foundation of the lovely dog she is is down to good breeding and her very early experiences. My pup is now just over 10 months. She has the loveliest temperament. She loves to play but also likes a cuddle. She sleeps through the night and we leave her for a few hours with no problem at all. She loves her walks and has always been full of confidence playing with other dogs and generally enjoying getting as dirty as possible ( luckily, she also loves having a shower!). I would have no hesitation at all buying another pup from James.

We collected our beautiful cavapoochon, Marley on the 30th Oct at 10.5 weeks once he’d had his vet checks and vaccinations as recommended by Humphries poos. Humphries Poos is in a clean beautiful setting where you can see that the mums and puppies are looked after exceptionally well. James couldn’t have been more helpful from start to finish. We were sent videos of our puppy regularly once we had paid our deposit and a very helpful support pack to prepare for him. James informed us of everything that we needed to know when we collected Marley and answered any questions that we had, we were not rushed at all, a very positive experience. James also emailed us a couple of days after with training guidance and to check that all was ok, he informed us that the support from him is always there. We took Marley for a health check at the vets 3 days after having him and the vet is happy with his health. The paperwork received from James confirming health checks, vaccinations etc is all very informative.If anyone is looking for one of these breeds, we would completely recommend Humphries Poos.

Unusually fast purchase from James at Humphries but every step of the way we were kept up to date and informed. The puppies are clearly looked after and James' house is lovely and welcoming. All the paper work was sorted out by James which made it very easy process, he also provides 2 extremely useful documents on training and what to expect as well as a gift bag full of goodies! I would recommend Humpriespoos to anyone!

We bought an F1 Cockapoo from James in July 2021 and have never looked back! James was brilliant with us the whole way through, keeping us updated with videos, and our puppy is just so lovable. She has a great temperament and is just so happy all the time. Every time we go on a walk, someone comments on how happy and beautiful she is (her tail starts wagging like mad any time she sees someone). She absolutely adores other animals and people. She is so well behaved, confident and her personality shines through. Thank you James for raising her, she is beautiful inside and out! I wouldn't hesitate to get another from him (but sadly my husband says I'm not allowed 2!)

I couldn’t recommend James and Humphries more highly. Having heard so many horror stories through COVID we were paranoid and decided to go in person to Cheshire to meet James before deciding and see the setup in person. James was open and welcoming of that and I can’t imagine anyone visiting and not walking away confident and comfortable buying a puppy from James. It was spacious, extremely clean and hygienic and you could tell by pups and mum’s interactions with James and people that they were well cared for. Our dog passed all vet checks with flying colors and is very sweet and lovely tempered - he doesn’t spook at noises which is a result of James’ socialization efforts.

We can not speak highly enough of our experience with humphriespoos. We were sent videos and photos of our puppy and James was happy to answer any questions that we had. Our pup is amazing! He has such a great temperament and is very happy and healthy. Our local vet did a check over of him when he first arrived and commented on the fact that he had never seen such great paperwork from a breeder before. Our pup is now 9 months old and we couldn't be happier with how he is growing up. We highly recommend!!

Delighted with our boy , found James very approachable and he always answered our messages , had our pup immediately assessed by family vet , who said was in very good condition and extremely well kept , the rest is down to fate , great temperement , would recommend , met the mom asked to meet the dad and watched as interacted with both and watched puppies feed off mom . Not saying they don’t produce a lot of puppies but they are well looked after . Collected July and vet is now saying over weight oops

We picked up our gorgeous Cavapoo Brodhi almost a month ago and in that time we have had nothing but positive comments from everyone who has met him, mostly how well natured and gentle his temperament is and how beautiful his coat and colour is.

We were allowed to meet him at 8 weeks before picking him up at 10 weeks, and were kept updated with videos of him growing. Brodhi quickly adapted to his new home and within a few days was sleeping downstairs on his own. James informed us they had played various CDs with different sounds which has been a godsend as Brodhi seems very comfortable with various noises especially as we have been having house work done and even when visiting other people he seems quite content to lie down and go to sleep whilst we are all chatting and walking around. He has no issues with drilling, car noises, the hoover (he loves the hoover) and is great with children. You can tell he was very well treated before coming to us.

The bag we received when picking Brodhi up had various items for him, some of which he still uses, the stuffed squeaky squirrel is favourite night time toy and the toy stick has been so helpful with his teething. The information email sent to us was also incredibly helpful and detailed.

It's almost been a month and we cannot believe the amazing progress our puppy has made. He is becoming a friendly, happy, smart and sociable dog (although teenage months are a coming!) and we are very thankful for James and the team for all their help before and after picking him up.

After such a positive experience bringing home our first cockapoo puppy from Raffles in 2017, we decided to add another cockapoo to our family. I had no doubts deciding which breeder I would use. Our second cockapoo come to live with us in July 2021. We found James extremely professional and thorough. He always replied to our messages and calls promptly. He regularly sent us pictures and videos of our new puppy as he was growing. Toby is happy, healthy and has a very relaxed temperament, just like his big brother Digby. Toby is the cutest and most well-behaved puppy we could have asked for.
I would not hesitate to recommend Humphries to any of my friends or family. I am sure we will be back soon!

We did a lot of research before picking Humphries Poos. We picked them based on their approach, experience and quality of their dogs, even though they were over 200 miles away. Because of COVID and distance we relied on James to choose a puppy for us that suited our needs and set up. He talked us through everything and sent all the information we needed and we couldn’t be happier with our wonderful Cavapoochon who is now 5 months old and such a good temperament and a real character.

We picked our lovely Cockapoo puppy Poppy up in July. I echo the other review highlighting the brilliant set up and first class care given to all the puppies and parents. James was incredibly helpful throughout the process and answered all our queries. We could not be happier with our puppy who is growing into a confident and happy dog. Humphries provide a quality service throughout including an information and starter pack but most importantly a first class puppy. I cannot recommend them enough.

Genuine first class breeders - Mum and pups seen first hand and by video as they grew - set up is excellent - lovely parent dogs - not allowed to collect until 10.5 weeks old to ensure all vet checks and vaccinations done before leaving - this is a great idea

Ensure you buy the basket they have been raised in since birth - it makes such a difference to the puppy settling.

James has the passion without the oversell and our puppy Charlie - Cavapoochon - is so clever and an absolute treasure - we have already been directing people onto the website
