Went in Cabot circus store in Bristol today waited over 30 mins to get seen to only 2 members of staff on ridiculous for a weekend. Also why don’t you sale chains all different lengths with pendants on had to buy the chain with pendant in and then a thicker longer chain

I bought a ring from H.Samuel for £300, claimed to be reduced from £650.

The specs they sent me:

· 15 diamonds – total carat weight 0.08ct (that's 0.005ct per stone – invisible to the naked eye)
· I3 clarity – the lowest possible grade
· 9ct gold – the minimum legal standard

I took it to Ramsden's, a professional jeweller. They offered me £30-40. Not £300. Not £650. £30-40.

So H.Samuel sold me a ring worth £40 for £300, claiming it was originally £650. That is misleading pricing.

When I complained, customer services sent me in circles – "go to a store," "call this number," "speak to our resolutions team." They ignored my complaint for days and refused to provide proof that this ring was ever genuinely sold at £650.

They hide behind a "30-day returns policy" even when the issue is misleading pricing and poor quality. They claim customer services "can't authorise refunds" – then what is the point of them?

Honestly, I'm convinced H.Samuel must be a front for something else. The stores are empty. No one buys from them. I certainly never will again.

Do not buy jewellery from H.Samuel. Overpriced, poor quality, and useless customer service.

The customer service from the manager at the branch in Cabot Circus was 10/10. Served me twice and both times she was great. She was patient with me even when busy. Also mention the staff were helpful too.

I went to get my seconds done without an appointment and I’ve never had a better experience. The worker so was incredibly sweet and made sure I liked the placed before piercing and gave me a stuffed bear to hold while she did it. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and was genuinely kind hearted. She did not rush it at all and said I was not going to leave until it was perfect. Very much recommended!

I ventured into H Samuel in Cabot Circus to ask staff advice on replacing an 18 carat gold chain that I'd lost whilst abroad. I need to make an insurance claim and was seeking professional advice as to the type of chain and costs today etc based on the photo I was able to share. JASMINE ('Jazz') went way above and beyond in finding out information and tracking down similar item in a professional catalogues. It was clear that she was immensely experience and had real enthusiasm for her work. She was an absolute star in customer relations!

Visited H Samuel at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol, to discuss buying a new watch. Alfie served us and it was wonderful to be served by someone so knowledgeable, understanding and friendly. What Alfie doesn’t know about watches isn’t worth knowing - a real asset to the company. Alfie gave us very clear advice and recommendations on a range of watches and his summary of our options was spot on. A pleasure to be dealt with. Thank you.

I had been on the search for an engagement ring for several months, trying to find that perfect ring for the perfect day, and just could not find exactly what I was looking for. Both Ryan and Emma at H Samuel’s - Cabot Circus Bristol - provided exceptional service. They introduced me to their Engagement Ring - Bespoke Design Service. It was a game changer. I could choose the premium 18ct gold metal I wanted, the 2mm band I wanted and the colourless, flawless, excellent cut I wanted sent on titanium. It was perfect and so easy. With their Bespoke Design the diamond you get to choose to your specifications came within a week and you get to inspect it before making a decision, if it wasn’t the one they’ll order another free of charge. The best customer service experience I’ve ever had.

Visited the Cabot Circus store and to purchase a ring, they didn't have my size in stock so needed to order it. Somehow this involved me having to pay £5 for next day delivery, the ring didn't arrive next day, 3 days later I call up to chase it, to be told it's should have arrived yesterday and that's it's the delivery company who's the blame... I'm still unsure why I had to pay for delivery in the first place, if it's out of stock, sure they just order it in?!

My Mother and I went in every jewellers in Cabot but the service we got at this store was outstanding compared to the others. Extremely friendly and helpful even though they were very busy (the other jewellers were empty). Great praise to Amanda & Nakietta who served us.

The staff & one particular young lady couldn’t do enough for me as I was taking an age choosing a watch. Very helpful & patient without feeling pressurised.

Really excellent service from both the members of staff who served us. We only really went in to look at sizes but they were so helpful, without putting any pressure on us, that we actually ended up walking out with exactly what we wanted. Would recommend.
