Howdens - Margate Recenzje 

Have just ordered and had fitted a new kitchen designed by Joanne. Service was excellent from start to finish and we are extremely happy . Nothing was too much for the fitter who was always prompt, curteous and very professional, overall a great experience which we would gladly recommend to friends and family.

Great customer service, no pressure whatsoever. Ben was very patient with us (we kept changing our minds) He ensured that we got the best from our kitchen space and caused us to consider carefully what we wanted/needed from our new kitchen and he gave us lots of information and advice re delivery and storage options. We feel happy and confident with our decisions and look forward to seeing it fitted

We worked with Joanne at the Margate branch for our new kitchen and were really impressed by the level of service we received from her. Joanne was quick to respond, helped actually guide us on what was possible and how we could work around certain things to get what we wanted. She was very clear on total costs and helped us work within a clear budget. She was quick to find us a fitter who could do what we needed and we were overall really impressed and happy with the service we received. She even drove us home from one of our appointments that we had walked to because it was raining! Great service and can't recommend the branch and Joanne enough.

I purchased my kitchen from howdens and from the designer Joanne to Keith Ames the builder they did a fabulous job on what was a small and awkward shape kitchen. I cannot fault them they were great

East to order and quick delivery

Noticed a deterioration with a part to one of the front tower units below our Neff oven.
Reported the issue 17/1/23, and a Howdens rep named Peter popped round on 18/1/23 and confirmed the fault, I asked if the part could be fitted by Howdens, he stated that Howdens have no fitters to which I said well I cannot fit it and as it is a fault surely Howdens could rectify it.
Peter stated it should be easy to get off and glue back on, he did try to get it off but had little success to which I said if you cannot do it, what chance do I have?
He then phoned for Gary at Howdens office and left a message with a colleague as Gary was not there and assured me that Gary would arrange delivery and the fitting of the part and get back to me.
There was no phone call, so I had to follow up on 24/1/23 and ask where the part and fitting was?
Peter then called round unannounced as my wife and I were going out! with the part.
I asked if Gary was to arrange the fitting? to which he smiled and shrugged his shoulders which left us none too happy.
I did try our original installer but to no avail I assume, for such a small uneconomic task.
Even though you have a warranty apparently this does not include fitting, which is wrong, as customers we do not have the skills or the tools to rectify the fault and we could actually cause more damage attempting it ourselves, thus invalidating the warranty.
Recommending a customer to replace a faulty Howdens part is very poor indeed.
To date the part is still unopened.

We have now been informed by Karl Leach that the fitter
Martin Frewin actually cut and pasted the original double moulded fascia part, as the replacement KL supplied is larger and is wholly moulded and should have been used as supplied, this explains the deterioration and splitting which is unsightly on the ovens tower, and is no reflection on the parts supplied by Howdens.

My thanks to Karl Leach of Howdens Margate for getting to the bottom of this by supplying the spare fascia at no extra cost, we are still awaiting Martin Frewin to remedy/replace the damaged fascia.

I rang for a price on 5 internal doors they quoted a price and had them in stock so I called in and collected them the same day .

Howdens Margate have been absolutely fantastic. From the design appointment where kitchen designer, Terry Dixon, listened exactly to the style and design of the kitchen I wanted and came up with a beautiful design through to the installation where we received advice and support where necessary, I couldn’t have asked for a better service. The end product looks amazing and is great quality. I highly recommend them.

Recently decided to get my kitchen updated as it has been the same for over 18 years when I initially bought my house. As my neighbour had an account with them I decided to have Howdens Margate design and price me a new kitchen. On the day of the site visit a very polite lady, Joanne Hogben turned up to conduct the survey and go through what I did and didn’t want. I received my new kitchen design about a week or so later and it looked fantastic. Only issue, for me, was the price, which was a shame as the kitchen design looked fantastic and made good use of the limited space I have. Since then we have met on a number of occasions to discuss changes and concerns and to rework and change the design until I was happy.

All in all it’s been a brilliant experience from start to finish with the design stage. Joanne has been helpful at every stage and has addressed my concerns and worked with me to come to a suitable conclusion for all. Can’t wait to see what in looks like for real once it has been fitted.

I want to say Howdens in Margate went above and beyond to solve a issue that really never should have arisen, Eddie the manager was amazing seeing the problem and solving it straight away, he put my faith back in Howdens as a company, just like to thank him and all the staff at the branch

I am very happy with the new kitchen and its design. It has a lot of storage space and the design is very aesthetically pleasing for a very good price.
