I have been to the soho location a few times on visiting the area and each time I leave happy. Vegan burger in particular is a standout a favourite of myself and wife.

In the past I've enjoyed Honest Burgers from the Hammersmith and Waterloo branches. However, the plant burger I purchased online from the Honest Burgers' Wimbledon branch was inedible because some of the ingredients which it had been made with were rancid and clearly past their sell by date. I nearly gagged trying to eat it. The fries were also not very fresh and far too salty for consumption. When I telephoned and complained to the manager of the Honest Burgers' Wimbledon branch about the above, he denied that I was sold rancid food and did not offer me a refund.

First off been going here for years when they use to not be many and was great experience, unfortunately lately with new one hoping near me, its gone down hill. Twice now i've order from Wimbledon and I got to say, the burgers are still good, but the rosemary chips are so bad now! Their more dry and so salty i feel like I just had seawater in my mouth with how dry they make my mouth. Can't even finish the chips. its that bad and yet we don't fet another options of chips. Even the people I was with complained about how salty the chips are there. Put me off them for awhile now. If you could just buy a burger without a side, that be good has the burgers are really nice.

(Wimbledon branch) Food is good, vegan burger was one of the best i have eaten. But the highlight, for which they deserve more than 5, is their allergen awarness and accomodations to any requests. Chicken burger on GF bread was also very good.

Only reason this is getting a 2 is because of the staff MK in particular was helpful
2 out of the 4 main adult meals come with Cold chips the chicken burger was probably 70% salt 30%chicken impossible to eat
Focused to much on delivery orders for online and not actually customer sat in the restaurant took over an hour for 4 meals few sides and a child meal when there was non stop online orders being prepared felt would seriously look into maybe a cut off time on online orders all in all a terrible night out

After having a problem with an order I spoke to the manger who was on a 2 half hour break so another of staff told me. After explaining my problem with my order and being told because they couldn’t find a driver my food has sat there for over a hour and they can’t keep track of it. He then said very sarcastically to me are you having a bad day ? Wow the manager is super rude! Have spent a fortune with this place never would again (Reading branch ) and I have emailed you multiple times and no reply !!!! Want me to show the you the emails ? Forever update they contacted me once in emails to ask what’s going on and never a reply !!!! Who ever looks after the customer support is just as bad !!!! Another company who don’t care about customer service !!!!

Made me wait an hour and a half for delivery and then decided to cancel the order. Took the money right away and then stated 10 business days for a refund. Avoid at all costs. They do not value customers one bit!

We came to Honest Burger Cardiff for a family meal and left feeling disappointed. The food was extremely salty — so much so that I couldn’t finish my meal. We also waited a long time for our food, around 35 minutes, which added to the frustration. I was shocked to see a 10% service charge added to the bill without any prior notice. I’m not against tipping, but it should be the customer’s choice and reflect the quality of the experience. I would understand it more for a large party where staff are particularly attentive, but in our case the service was minimal. The server brought our food and the bill but didn’t check in or ask if everything was okay. On top of this, the restaurant was extremely noisy, making it difficult for us to have a conversation or enjoy our time together. Overall, it wasn’t the experience we were hoping for and unfortunately didn’t live up to expectations.

I had lunch at Honest Burgers in Wimbledon yesterday. The waiter was efficient and friendly.
I chose the house burger and chips. The burger was delicious cooked to perfection. Critisism chips were skinny crunchy and dry. I should have had chunky chips. They should offer a variety of popular well known beer brands

I used to like to go to honest burgers in covent garden. But it's getting an I don't care vibe. Fries were cold and no rosemary. The burger I was asked if I wanted medium, I said yes. But I got an wayyyy overdone burger, was very chewy, tasted like chewing on paper. The toilets were very dirty. If the toilets are dirty, how can the food be clean?! A real I don't care vibe!!! Which is sad! Right in the center should have at least 4 stars!

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service at your restaurant. The staff member attending our table was not only rude and dismissive (a clear attitude problem), but we also observed them consuming alcohol while on duty. This is deeply unprofessional and created a very uncomfortable dining atmosphere. The quality of the food cannot make up for such poor and concerning conduct from your employees. We will not be returning.

Burgers taste amazing but the best part was definitely the staff. Super friendly and kind.

Somethings changed!

I would never give a one star rating after one bad experience. However last night I gave Honest burger a second chance after recently being disappointed with friends.

Both times the burgers were burnt and lacking any kind of flavour. Their signature chips usually crispy and delicious now soggy and cold. Unsure of they have changed the way they cook them or if they not using different potatoes. The chips were also heavily salted and had no rosemary flavour.

I ordered onion rings and they just tasted like grease.

We also waited 25 minutes before somebody acknowledged us and offered drinks. I had to go up to the bar and ask for them to take our order.

Poor service and poor food, which is very disappointing as it is one of the few restaurants offering gluten free options on most of their menu.

Ordered a cheddar burger and onion rings via Uber Eats and was bitterly disappointed. Onion rings were completely soggy and the burger was raw in the middle, despite ordering ‘medium pink’. If that’s medium pink, then pink is more like black and white and still mooing in a field. I ate 3 bites before giving up - nothing like lukewarm chips for dinner.
Won’t be ordering again.

We ordered 10 burgers, and having spent about 20 mins inputting the order, with very specific requirements, when the order came there was nothing to tell the orders apart. of the 10 burgers, 2 were labelled in any way.
Compared to 5 Guys, who have a very efficient methodology for labelling their burgers, this was rubbish.
Second, all the smash burgers, rather than being medium, were more than well done. Not super happy with the result having spent over £130 on this order.
The main thing I can recommend is that the service was pleasant which I suppose counts for something - even for a takeaway pick up.

We went to Honest Burger Finsbury Park and we had a mixed experience. Antonio who served us was lovely and was apologetic about the long wait that we had to get our food. It appeared that the Uber Eats / Deliveroo orders were taking preference over the orders from people actually in the restaurant. However the food was good once it arrived. We particularly liked the buffalo chicken burger, rosemary fries and the coleslaw. Antonio and his team did their best but they really needed more waiting staff and kitchen staff to keep it flowing as there were long queues outside the door and a long wait once you got inside and not enough staff to clear tables and take orders.

Would give a 0 if I could ! Ordered 3 burgers and fries from the Tooting branch via Uber Eats. Wouldn’t touch either of these again! Best they could offer after we received cold chips and a delivery way over its scheduled time was a discounted meal in the restaurant! As if I would want to return and waste more good money on their poor food! Ignored me when I asked for a refund! Steer clear and get your burgers elsewhere!

Wow! Best burger I’ve ever eaten in my life. Look you could rate other hubs badly but the honest burger in Chiswick is a,,,, whatever you can rate this place but this place is a 5 star.

Honest burgers replaced Gourmet burgers in Wimbledon and served up a dog’s dinner. Whereas the previous chain offered a great, meaty burger with lovely chips, HB served a pathetically small, burnt burger with tasteless fries. What made matters worse was that around 9 we were asked if we could choose our desserts as the kitchen was going to shut soon! We declined, as the choice available was pathetic. However, the waitress followed this up by saying ‘you can still finish your drinks though’! The whole meal was totally over priced and so I complained via their website. I’ve had NO reply and will give this chain one year before it sinks into oblivion.

Below average burgers, far too much over powering burger sauce and dry, luke warm chips. What’s to like?
