Homebase - Northampton Recenzje 66

The Homebase store I visited is closing it has huge discount signs - BUT the fact that it will not accept any returns unless faulty is very poorly advertised.
Very unfair on their staff to have to refuse refunds and who they are making redundant to - very unfair on loyal Homebase customers who expect to be able to return things.

Dulux Silk Ivory Paint was a gorgeous cream colour with a hint of lemon yellow and when the sunlight had shone through the front door archway church windows, the whole corridor and upstairs had lit up like I was in heaven and just felt fantastic. Very happy customer of Homebase for my second interior redesign house renovations project. Now everyone was jealous that I had done everything so quickly in just a few hours when I was on pre-menstrual tension. I have put more than one coat of paint on another day so I was glad that I bought plenty of Dulux Silk Ivory paint from Homebase beforehand. Other bargains included large storage baskets etc.

Totally disappointed in Homebase kitchen Matt emulsion Chinese evergreen, this has to be amongst the worse I’ve ever used, the coverage is appalling, it’s taken 4 coats to cover a very pale yellow and in some places I’ve had to go over a 5th time, definitely won’t be buying again !!

Value for money product. Staff member (Emily) as always professional, pleasant, make you feel like valued customer.

I found that ordering was very easy and when it came to having my hover mower to me even the driver made it so.easy he even placed my mower inside the door as he could see that I have mobility issues

The service on the till was excellent bearing in mind it must be hard when you know the store is closing

I went to visit this store to collect a parcel delivered by FedEx. The first young gentleman was polite enough but the other staff were rude and one of them had a bad attitude who refused blank wanted to check if the parcels were there. She was loud and no customer service skills. Dealing with complaints in store seem non existent so a email to the MD as the social media email address didn’t go through successfully. This store customer service has usually been good but when it is bad it is really bad.

A staff member shouted at me to move to the till when I arrived at customer service with some plants wanted to pay for. With that attitude it’s hardly surprising the store is closing. Her name may have been Lisa. A young man did offer to put the box in my car however.

We had a lovely visit to the Riverside store and met a wonderful lady called Gemma who helped us with our order of the Andora Patio set, she gave lots of advice on the best product and best price for our needs. She also had the order ready and waiting for us to collect that afternoon and remembering who we were too, from the online order. A smily positive worker who knows her stuff!!! Super fast service when I arrived at the Northampton store for C&C. Friendly and efficient and very helpful and knowledgeable.

The 2 lads were really helpful and 1 carried the box to the car for me.

They were pleasant and I wasn't kept waiting long.

This branch needs to improve! Items on shelves are often not priced or priced incorrectly. Basic items are often not stocked. Some assistants are helpful but others are surly. For me, it is much better to drive to Wellingborough and use B&Q.

Went to hombase to find a barbecue I found Jacob very very helpful help me load the barbecue into my car talk me through many aspects of it

Only negative was that we didn’t get any confirmation of a delivery date! Just a text from DPD confirming they would be delivering that day! Luckily we were at home

Collected paint testers from Northampton Riverside. The assistant was very helpful in checking our request for more FB test colours both on the shop floor and the computer. He thought where best to place our heavy collection of masonary paint for easier handling. This was nearly closing time on a lovely evening which made his attentiveness even more profound. Thank you.

Cannot believe Homebase are charging £40 for 2.5lt Ronseal Ultimate Protection decking paint. I could only buy one which wouldnt have been enough for all of the decking .I checked online stockists to order another tin before using it and the price ranges are under £30!! I will be returning it back to the store as I have ordered a 5ltr tin for £50 from Amazon !!

I had a problem with an item I bought but was still under warranty.
Homebase were brilliant in sorting it out.

We went into Homebase in Northampton and were delighted with the service we got from Jacob. He helped my wife select the kitchen bin she needed (not as easy as you would imagine. He then gave me great advice regarding glues. It was very near closing time but he was happy to spend as long as was necessary to help our selection. He is a great credit to you.
