Having recently moved to the area I was looking for some new shelving for my garage. I was helped by a member of staff in the metal shelving area (think the name was Dan) he was really helpful in measuring the shelves for me so I knew they would fit. Thanks.

Jake was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to locate the equipment I needed and helped me to fix my problem. Great customer service.

I purchased some end of season garden furniture from the Newton abbot branch. The people were really helpful. They took it apart and loaded it into my van, great price and great service.

Gave me the wrong item (not the first time) which if I had kept it would have lost you £35. When I phoned no apology just “yeah come in and swap”. When collected next day was “oh yeah”. That meant a whole afternoon and evening of painting was lost for me and another journey in and back.

I went in looking for a particular paint colour. It turned out Dulux no longer made that colour. I asked a member of staff and they said they could mix it up in their machine which he did. Great service and he also checked if I needed anything else to do the painting

Item ready for collection and the staff were extremely helpful.

We went to Homebase in Kingsteignton this afternoon to buy 4 heavy bags of Cotswold stones. My husband is 83 and neither of were capable of lifting the bags. A very friendly and kind assistant named Louise came to our assistance and lifted them into our trolly then put them into the boot of our car. We don’t know what we have done without her. We offered her a little tip to show our gratitude but she refused to take it. Louise is a real asset to your company!

The click and collect service was easy to use and the prompt service was excellent. I ordered my purchases in the evening of a Saturday bank holiday and I received a text around 9.30am on the next day. I only had to wait a few minutes before I was served at the click and collect desk so I was out of the building inside 5 minutes. It would have taken me a lot longer to find the items I wanted had I not used click and collect. A great service especially for people like me who are disabled and find it difficult to find their way around large stores like this one.

Normal, no issues transaction for me, but wanted to say that you have a fabulous assistant who dealt with a couple in front of us who were moving about the lack of toilet facilities. They moaned, she smiled and was way more polite than I would have been. Didn’t catch her name, but she’s a great ambassador for you.

Dave (the curly worly kid!) gave the most fantastic customer service. He gave sound advice on products around the store and carried the items I was purchasing to the till then out to my car. Davie is a credit to Homebase. I haven’t visited your store in years but I’ll be back due to the fantastic customer service I received - well done Dave 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

From first contact, through email responses, telephone bookings to the actual wonderful design (in very impressive 3-d design software); to the scheduled in-store appointment, Malcom and the team were absolutely superb - professional, very helpful, skilful, creative and extremely patient (with my three changes to sink) - we are totally delighted with the fabulous design, the great advice and the wide variety of wonderful options available - even our dog was welcomed into the store with warmth and enthusiasm - such a wonderful team that made our new kitchen purchase so very exciting and astronomically awesome - thank you …

We had a fantastic experience in homebase Newton Abbott.
During our visit to the bathroom section we were helped by Will, he was most helpful and advised us on the products.
We then visited the paint section where Alex assisted us and again, fantastic service.
What a credit Will & Alex are to the store.
We left with our arm's full and happy after our shopping experience.
