I was served by Prince. He was extremely efficient and very helpful.
Nothing was too much trouble and he did all he could to resolve an order mix up. Solving the problem thoroughly and even carrying the items to my car. I have had mix ups with orders before at other times and I’m usually met with ‘the computer says…’
Prince refused to accept the computers narrative and solved the problem himself!
Thank you Prince and well done. I hope you get to read this and that Homebase reward your attention and hard work. This time, because of you Prince, Homebase managed to save a customer and make a sale.

Refused order as item dirty from display

It took 5 visits before I got this item. The click and collect desk kept on saying it wasn't there

I had a positive experience at Homebase! They offer a wide range of products for gardening, decorating, repairs, home furnishings, and kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom solutions. The quality of their products is good and yet affordable. The delivery service was excellent, punctual, and precise by super friendly staff. I recommend Homebase!

I am very happy with the product, but this is my second purchase from this store, and my experience is that the customer service really sucks.

It was a click and collect order, and I went to collect it on Boxing Day. To my dismay, they were closed. My own fault for not checking before hand, but I still resented having to return again the following day.

I was next in line to be served when a customer pushed in front, stating that he had a quick question. Before you knew it, the Sales Assistant was serving him.

I objected, explaining that my patience had waned, based on the wasted journey from the previous day. However, the Assistant was extremely cold and dismissive, he didn't even look up from his screen, he simply told me that he does not control Homebase's opening hours. He didn't even try to understand or empathise with me, and I found his behaviour very disappointing.

Sadly, in my experience, this kind of customer service seems to be the norm.

The lady on the click and collect desk, Rosemary was so rude and embarrassed her colleagues by undermining them. The other lady on the desk was so helpful and polite and looked totally shameful of Rosemary. I was asked by Rosemary at least 4 times for ID which was not a problem. Apparently this is the only way I could collect my goods as the order number on a text is not used as a means of confirmation from Homebase. I then went to the Garden centre and purchased some reduced plants. There was a problem at the checkout with the costing. The gentleman on the till was ever so nice until we asked Rosemary to check. I did apologise for using the word 'bloody' however, by now her attitude stank. This kind of behaviour in my opinion is just not acceptable and gives the store and the other brilliant team a bad name.

Ordered 2 items. 1 was out of stock when I paid online but apparently the web hadn’t been updated and when I went to pick up my items, I was told that I now have to wait 3 to 4 days for a refund. But you were quick to take my money at checkout and through no fault of mine as I didn’t cancel the item I now have to wait for the refund. Very inconvenient… Not happy.

I shopped at homebase harringay today, I was helped by a very polite young man who's name is Asif. Great service ,so thank you very much.

Great price. Easy to order. Staff pleasant in store when I went to collect item.
