Homebase - Bishop�s Stortford Recenzje 

I visited Homebase Bishops Stortford today , I purchased a small sofa, Paul your employee was soo helpful, he went and got a new sofa from the stockroom carrying it downstairs and then to my car ( after I’d paid lol )
It wouldn’t fit in my car so we took the packaging off and .. yes lol

Luke gave great customer service, helping with paint choices

Excellent customer service especially from the yard click and collect man who ensured that we were safe and loaded despite having problems loading. He was very helpful. Very pleased. However we were four bolts short in the assembly pack, we don't know why. Please forward the bolts we need.

Placed an online order and the stock was not available at the store.
The store rang to say that they would transfer it from another store and the manager would go and pick it up from the branch for me.
This is amazing service, a lot of places would not have bothered. The staff and manager have gone above and beyond to help.

I stood 2nd in line at Customer Service Desk as wished to return an item. Claire called me over and explained could make the return at her till. She is always very friendly and I was grateful for her saving me waiting and being able to help.

We ordered our kitchen from homebase on 24th March and was promised it will be delivered shortly. As of 26th June, it's still not complete, and won't be for a couple more weeks. Reason is: on delivering the goods, they placed my worktop on the sofa, which caused it to bend, so my kitchen fitter advised to get a replacement as this could cause issues later on. The replacement was out of stock for weeks, and noone could confirm when the goods will be delivered. I also had a few damaged cabinets, which they promised they will deliver with the worktops. I couldn't get hold of the delivery company to schedule delivery, neither was able to get any information on delivery from my local store where I ordered the kitchen from. Finally the worktops have arrived and they were damaged all over. It was splashes and scrathes on both sides, and chippings on the side. It was not suitable for fitting. At this point we had no kitchen for 2 months, and I was having anxieaty attacks over this. I was then provided with false information regarding the date of delivery, and stayed home for no reason waiting for the delivery which then came on a different day, when I wasn't able to accept it, so it was left outside. This set of worktops was also damaged here and there, but as I had enough I asked the fitter to work around it, but as he inspected the worktop he found more serious damage and advised it's not suitable for fitting. So here I am with my third set of damaged workopts provided by homebase, and 3 moths after the purchase. I would avoid them for all costs. It was my worst experience, and they refuse to rectify the issue. I'm unable to use the kitchen, that I'm being charged for. It's wasted time and effort to constantly chase them. It's a wasted time for the kitchen fitter as well as he is unable to finish the work and showed up several times to have no material to work with. I haven't been offered any compensation, altough I'm cooking on a camping cooker for 3 months. I'm having anxiety, and I constantly have to rearrange with my work to be able to present to accept deliveries and to be around when the work is planned to get done. Absolute nightmare, and extremly dissapointing. No quality standards and zero customer care. I would avoid them like plague! The statement below from homebase is not a true reflection of the current situation. My calls are hardly returned, customer care wasnt helpful, and my last request on replacing the damaged goods was turned down stating I'm outside of the 7 days inspection period... I wonder how that applies after a three months delay!?

Claire at Bishops Stortford branch has been very helpful on both days we visited your store. Once when I took my Dementia brother she showed him kindness and didn’t hurry him. Today I went again with my husband and we purchased 3bags of stones and she informed us we could have a free bag ( which we didn’t know ) Thank you Claire

The checkout lady, Maddy, greeted us with a smile and a very cheerful and friendly 'hello, how are you both today?' After we had paid, she advised us how much we had saved (all plants 20% off) and said she hoped we would enjoy the plants we had just bought. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Kevin was super helpful and gave some great advice re. painting, he asked me a lot of questions and has made my life a lot easier.

James on the checkout today at the Bishop’s Stortford branch, was very friendly and super helpful when I was served. I had advised him that due to the windy weather conditions outside several of the clematis plants had fallen over and had been damaged. He advised that he would report it to one of the managers and would check them straight away. As this was one of the varieties that I wanted he spoke to the same manager and they kindly reduced the one I wanted due to the wind damage it had sustained.

I was buying black metal paint. Stacey was brilliant. She found me exactly the right black metal paint by checking the stock everywhere. She was just so helpful.
