I didn't actually get a product from here. I attempted to order during their black Friday sale but their codes were bogus and wouldn't work. I went to order one anyway after the sale, and they jacked their prices up 20% from their normal prices. Seems like a scam of a company to me.

Stay far far away from this company, their quality and handling of products is so far from satisfactory. Their “tried and tested” packaging is just cardboard, not an ounce of bubble wrap or protection insight, especially for the foil printed items.

I’ve received damaged items both first order and replacement order, I’m done.

As other people have said, very cool idea but if you can’t nail basics things like handling of products with care and precision printing you shouldn’t be doing this work.

My Nottingham Forest one came yesterday, it’s a present for someone this Christmas. Paid extra for the foil blocking, gift box and personalisation but lacks the quality I expected. Paid £90odd with the extras.

Working in the print trade for over 30years I wasn’t happy with the casing in, the front is warped, the foil blocking has spread and just readable. I think it’s a cheap digital foil if I’m honest. The alignment of the title text isn’t centre. The content was less than I expected also, early years is very diluted.

The idea is great, the quality of the end product wouldn’t get out the factory for the company I work for. Save your money paying for any extras with this.

The plus is I got it when expected.

I ordered this as a birthday gift for my father, and the package has been lost. Customer service is not helpful at all and now I'm out $80. I'm extremely disappointed and didn't have anything to give for my dad on his birthday this year. So thanks!

I ordered this as a Christmas gift. It’s advertised to be a book of news articles about one specific team. Well it’s not, it’s a whole bunch of different team articles. Customer service was also horrible. I have tried to email them several times with no response. Do not order this.

I hold my hands up. I made a mistake. I ordered a Historic Newspaper book for the wrong football club. I placed the order and instantly received the confirmation email timed at 1408.

I immediately realised my mistake and replied to the confirmation email explaining this and asking to merely switch my order from one team to another (no other material changes). I have not requested any personalisation (name etc) for the item.

I received an email confirming receipt of that email at 1411; exactly 3 minutes after the order confirmation had been received.

This of course can all be proven via my email log.

I received a response at 1745 from customer services saying “Each of our Newspaper Books is made to order, which means that soon after completing your order our workshop is notified of the details and the process to print, trim, bind, and cure each book begins. As this process is entirely automated, we're unfortunately not able to make any changes to the details you've provided or selected while placing your order, nor are we able to cancel the order.”

I accept I made a mistake but will not accept that within 3 minutes or even within 2.5hrs it took someone to read and reply to my cancellation order, that they had started to print, trim, bind and cure the book!

If the company provided a customer services telephone number I could have spoken to someone within minutes of placing the order and got it changed.

Really poor customer service during what is meant to be the season of goodwill. Feels like it’s a company being run by bots and AI and not humans.

If anyone wants a Crystal Palace let me know. I shan’t be reordering the correct book, nor the multitude of other books I intended to order once I’d received the first one and was satisfied with it.

I ordered the personalized Birthday Book for an 80th birthday gift, and I couldn't be happier! The order was processed and shipped very quickly. The book itself is beautiful, with excellent quality and a wonderful personalization option. Highly satisfied!

Terrible company I made an order and tried to cancel 12 mins later as made a mistake and they refused to cancel the order 12 mins later!! I mean are they legally allowed to do that claiming it would have been printed already 12 mins later!! Would never use them again!!

The exterior of the product is of high, durable quality. However the font of the articles are extremely small -- making it nearly illegible. The photos are of poor quality --grainy and pixelated, unable to make out the images.

The idea behind the product is very cool, but the quality of the print just makes this product not worth it.

Very disappointing. Poor quality images, uninteresting headlines and book was warped ( like buying books from Amazon) A lot of money spent on nothing special.

The articles have ben reduced down to a nearly unreadable form. Little to no effort was made by this company to deliver clean copies. I could have created this with a copy machine from 20 years ago. I made the mistake of not looking at reviews before purchasing. I would not recommend.

What a shame, I would have purchased the Historic Newspaper for a birthday present, but glad I read the reviews first.

Disappointed my order apparently was delivered near my back door, don't know why as front door is propped open, however it is NO WHERE TO BE SEEN, can't speak to anyone, telephone mail box is full, no reply to emails!!!!!! This is a birthday present for Sunday 6th June

Almost unreadable. Very small print. Poor quality. A great disappointment.

My item came and had been damaged in transit! Claudia at customer service was extremely helpful and accommodating in getting a replacement sent to me! It is a birthday gift so I needed it soon and she helped me in a very timely manner! I can’t express how pleased I am with this customer service! The item is absolutely gorgeous and exactly what it shows online!

So so bad! Do not buy. Spent almost £60 on a birthday present and the pages look like bad print-outs. Some of them are folded over too. Even the paper quality is dreadful and the cover pages have air bubbles.

I email them and they try to fob me off with a replacement. but want me to pay for the postage. a ridiculous amount, i might add.

While I don't typically submit reviews, I feel that the purchase of these 'Historic Newspapers' is such a waste, it warrants a warning.
We recently purchased a 'Historical Newspaper' book for a family friend who was about to turn 80. I wish we had read more of the reviews prior, as the books are nearly illegible for my eye, much less an 80-year-old senior. Basically a reduced photocopy bound in a cheap cover.
I would rate less than a one, if possible.

This is the worst place you can buy from. I ordered my newspaper and it came in with a sticker on the title that when I try to peel off obviously it rips the fine newspaper and so I email them and they try to give me a replacement but I have to pay shipment? Which is absurd amount keep in mind. So I get my replacement and lord and behold there is a big ol sticker right in the same exact spot! Can’t take it off with out ripping the title off. I email them and now they say they can give me a 15% refund for my original order like that covers anything and won’t give me a full refund. This place is seriously the worst do not order from here.

I ordered a historic newspaper from 71 years ago. I expected the newspaper of course to be worn looking and fragile, however, I did not expect it to be patched together with scotch tape in places as well as have a slash though the middle of half the pages. I would have at least expected those flaws to be communicated before purchase based on how much I paid for this newspaper (more than $80 with shipping).

The shipping was timely and I did receive the correct newspaper I ordered. I feel it was over priced based on the condition of the newspaper.
