IF YOU NEED HELP, NO ONE IS THERE
My car broke down in a different state and I needed to rent a car to get home. That part went OK but there was some uncertainty with the length of time repairs were going to take so I tried for almost three hours to talk with someone about turning it into a different location rather than continue to pay for a rental I didn't need (I was back home with other cars). It was extremely difficult to connect with a real person and the recording kept telling me to go on line but you cannot change your drop off location on line. I know there is usually a fee for changing drop off locations but I wanted to know how much before I dropped it off. Eventually I reached to agent at the location where I rented the car and was told I had to drop it off before they could tell me how much it would cost to change drop off locations?????????????????? He was very polite but could not tell me how much it would be. The problem was not the Hertz rental location in Parkville, MD but the HERTZ company in total that could not be reached when I needed them!!!!!!
