Gas Charges Fraud
For two consecutive rentals from Hoffman Estates, IL I returned my vehicle with a full tank of gas. Both times Hertz charged me to refill the tank. Both times they refused to reverse the charges and said I had to submit a copy of my receipt on line for a refund.

Customer service was terrible
Customer service was terrible, license plate was loose, I tightened as much as I could, few days later noticed it was gone, called hertz and was told to come in a fill out an incident report, also that I would be charged for the plate, I won’t pay for something rhat wasn’t my fault, went into the Hertz to fill the form out then I was told by someone else I didn’t need to fill it out and I was not gonna get charged for the license plate. Then the next day I got a notice from her saying that my return was due the next day it was actually due two days later I had made the reservation from August 28 -sep 12, not the 11th, was told by the same person at the customer service that if it made me happy, I could keep it for an extra day which I thought was extremely rude and then when I got my bill after I brought it back on Saturday the 12th I was charged for two extra days because it said it was late and which it wasn’t. I had my reservation set for September 12. I have the reservation and I was going to show them, so I’m not very happy with Hertz right now.

The people working were good but the…
The people working were good but the car was bad. I had to turn it in the next day in St. Louis because when I was doing 70 on interstate 55 it would at times drop all the way down to 30 perhaps because of a computer malfunction and also the change oil light came on as soon as I got the car. The one I picked up in St. Louis worked perfectly after that for the next 14 days
