Can't give 0 stars

Can't give 0 stars, how unfortunate. I ordered a birthday gift for my wife from my kids and when the sale went through i realized shop had reverted to our old address. I figured it wasn't a prblem until I realized there was no where on their site to correct a shipping address and only an email link. Again, I figured it was no problem and sent them an email asking for the correction within 4 minutes of placing the order. I woke up this morning to a canned response saying they were soo efficient that it had shippied already and I could contact the carrier to pay them to redirect the package. At this point I was upset but at least my wife would be getting her birthday preasent. Nope! Tracking number doesn't even exist.

Over $100 for an apron that my wife will never have.

Tell you what. Refund the $$ and I'll update to 3 stars, which would actualy be a boost to your review score....

No item, no refund. Only disappointment.

I ordered an item that said it was in stock and received a shipment notice but the item never arrived. It was supposed to be a Christmas present. I reached out and they said they would ship it but then didn't. When I reached out next, they said they were out of that one and asked what I wanted instead. Rinse and repeat. Many interactions with customer service over several weeks and I haven't gotten the product or a refund, just a lot of empty promises.

If I could give them zero stars I…

If I could give them zero stars I would. Unfortunately, I did not read the trust Violet reviews before placing an order. I have had similar experience to other users-told my order was lost, offered a replacement or refund, however weeks after this, I have not had any further response to my queries.

Extremely Poor Customer Service

Extremely Poor Customer Service: I placed an order for apron on 12/1, and my card was charged and UPS tracking created. Now 16 days later, the shipment has not been released to UPS, and Hedley & Bennett will not respond to my inquiries. There is no phone - only email. No response to my email inquiries. I like the aprons and wanted to give this to my son for Christmas, but I cannot. Bottom line: HB has Very Poor Customer Service. I will buy a different brand of apron for my son.

BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM HEDLEY & BENNETT

I ordered an apron on Nov. 30th as a Christmas gift. Website said items ship in 2-3 days and standard shipping is 5-6 days. It's now Dec. 12th and I still don't have the item. When I track the order on their website, it says the status is "Pre-Transit". They provided a tracking number but it doesn't work because UPS has not received the item.
I have emailed their customer service team TWICE now with ZERO response. I'm SO angry! I need the item for our Christmas gathering on 12/17, so now I need to find something else. I wish I could cancel this order!

No response to customer service, product not sent

For any Canadians considering ordering from this company - I strongly recommend against it! I ordered an apron for my mother on November 23rd, and it still hasn't even shipped and today is December 10th. No response to email inquiries to customer service. The apron costs $174.79 even with a 25% sale. I wish I could cancel this order all together and get a full refund;

No good pot holders

I like the aprons and have several. I ordered the pot holders to get free shipping. They look nice but the first time I used them, the tip got against the heating element and caught fire that I had to blow the flame out. They are also very thick at the tips so it is very hard to grab onto a dish etc. I wrote them about the pot holders with pics but they didn't care. They said they are heat proof not fire proof. I get it but they shouldn't go up in flames like that and they wouldn't post my review on their site. I don't recommend them.

BEWARE IF YOU INTEND ON HAVING EMBROIDERY DONE

Bought an apron which appears to be great quality. Prior to ordering, I paid an extra $20 to have it embroidered. When creating what I wanted, it wouldn’t let me center it properly. Upon receiving, the embroidery is completely off centered. It looks terrible. I emailed them and they informed me that in their FAQ section, they state all embroidery is off to the right. Basically, for some reason, they aren’t able to center anything embroidered in the middle and do it properly. All they said was, sorry that you’re not happy. What a joke. Who reads the FAQ portion when buying an apron? I had no questions, thinking it would be done professionally and done right. Poor customer service and poor quality in product. I wish I just would have bought the apron and had it embroidered properly once I received it. It was supposed to be a gift, but Im embarrassed to give it, as it looks like crap. Wasted $140.

SCAM!!

I couldn't create an account, all i got was error. This website is a scam. I had butterball x hedley in my cart exactly 12:00:00 noon then the site was frozen and of course it was sold out. SCAM!!! Ive never heard of this website but i sure as hell will not order from it again.

Untrustworthy gaslighting scam artists

This company never sent me my products. The tracking number they sent me was faulty. When I reached out three weeks later to check, they immediately sent a vague "delivery" confirmation email backdated to three days after the order was placed. Afterwards the company proceeded to gaslight me about the experience. PayPal did not give me a refund because the company had their fake receipts.

It appears that they do in fact send their products to many clients, however, I imagine that a certain percentage of orders are purposely never fulfilled with the company hoping that clients either don't notice or don't bother to make a claim. BEST TO AVOID BEING ONE OF THE UNLUCKY ONES.

BUYER BEWARE*

Purchased a $100+ apron that never arrived. USPS claimed it did with no added photo proof. I reach out to support to discuss the matter and was met with 0 response.

I do a quick research to see if this was a commonplace, and not only are so many people speaking about their terrible buying experience, Yelp also indicates that their retail store have closed down, presumably from all the terrible reviews.

I’ll be disputing this with my bank since H&B seems to take no accountability.

DO NOT BUY FROM HEDLEY & BENNETT!

DO NOT BUY FROM HEDLEY & BENNETT!! their customer service is non existent! You can only correspond by email and are at their mercy for them to answer. Their answers are rehearsed and at no point will they acknowledge your issue. My son purchased an essential grey apron as a gift for $77.48. I unfortunately decided to exchange it for a floral Poppy apron that was much more expensive at $136.24! I paid for the $59.26 difference by credit card. I received the Poppy apron and it was in no way worth $137! It was thin, rough, color was not as pictured. I regrettably wanted to exchange the Poppy apron for another apron that was $106. When I discussed the return with Kimberly via email she stated that I would only be credited for the $59.26 i paid and not the $77.48 my son paid for the grey apron that I returned. They are stating that the $77.48 is a DISCOUNT and since I only paid $59.26 for the Poppy apron that is what they will credit me towards a 3rd apron!!
I RETURNED A $77.48 APRON AND THEY WILL NOT CREDIT THE RETURN TO ME! THEY ARE KEEPING/STEALING THAT $77.48. AS IF I NEVER RETURNED THE ITEM!!
THEY WANT ME TO PAY $46.74 FOR THE 3RD APRON WHEN I RETURNED A $77.48 APRON AND A $136.24 APRON!! IF I WERE TO EXCHANGE AGAIN FOR THE $106 APRON THEY ARE TELLING ME I STILL OWE $46.74! WHEN I AM REALLY OWED A $30.74 CREDIT!!!
THIS COMPANY IS STEALING MONEY! HOW CAN THEY NOT CREDIT THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT THAT MY SON PAID FOR THE GREY APRON??
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I HAVE CONTACTED THE FTC, THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICES OF CA & VA, THE BBB AND I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THEY DO THE RIGHT THING!

Not only did I get the WRONG apron

Not only did I get the WRONG apron, with the WRONG monogram, but I've been waiting 2 weeks for customer service to get back to me. They literally ruined Christmas. I'm putting a stop on payment and frankly, I'm puzzled how Top Chef, Michelin restaurants do business with these people. But perhaps BRAVO gets more attention that someone who buys a single apron. I get that it's a holiday, but when you're in the business of shipping gifts, you have a responsibility to your customers.
