Amazing STAFF, amazing SERVICE 👍
Stuck in Turkey ( Izmir ) due to EasyJet cancelling a flight. No back up from EasyJet, no accommodation offered. In fact, no flight alternative for SIX DAYS ( which was booked full anyway )! We were right royally stuffed!
With EasyJet having no dedicated staff, and not answering phone calls or emails, I was SO relieved I had booked via Hays Travel in hastings. Their staff are ALL incredible and friendly and were on the case within minutes.
Unfortunately they couldn't magic up a flight that didn't exist, BUT they were they for support, back up and to help with alternatives.
We finally got home under our own steam via Turkish Airlines ( a PROFESSIONAL airline ) via Istanbul, two days later. BUT I am now £2000.00 out of pocket for hotel accommodation, taxis and flights. EasyJet refuses to pay for any of this.
on retuning and a long awaited email ,EasyJet told me I should of stayed at the airport for SIX days while they look for alternatives via another city in Turkey, even if it meant going to Glasgow or Manchester instead of Gatwick?
I did point out that both of us had to get back for something called a JOB, and also we needed insulin as one of us is diabetic type one, and had enough medication for two further days only.
The mind boggles.
Thank you to everyone at Hays Travel who help us get back. It's a shame I am now battling with EasyJet to get even the cost of my unused tickets refunded. However, their favourite word seems to be NO! NEVER AGAIN.

I was going round in circles trying to…family holiday
I was going round in circles trying to arrange a holiday for a family of ten so I popped into local Hays Travel, listed our requirements and left them to it!
Next day I received four options with links to the hotels, flight details, transfer times and cost. All were reasonable options.
We made our choice, went back to the branch and fifteen minutes later we had a holiday booked! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. It felt as though our lady listened and cared rather than simply ticking boxes. Thanks x

The member of staff was welcoming
The member of staff was welcoming, friendly and understood what we were looking for. As a regular customer with Hayes Travel I was also able to request the name of the hotel previously used for my trip which was on the system. Although there was an issue with booking 2 single rooms, we were able to leave it in the capable hands of the staff member to deal with and she contacted me to update me on progress and costs. It was the first time my friend had been into a travel agent and she was surprised and delighted about how quickly everything was organised and dealt with.
