We had two weeks in Asteria and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Waitrose is 2 minutes away (by the side entrance to the car park) and Alfie's (a top class restaurant) just around the corner.
On site car parking is essential in Harogate and that made life much easier for us.

Harrogate holidays were extremely easy to deal with and everything involved in the booking went smoothly.

We had a fantastic experience. The choice of properties was great and booking very simple. Like the option of added extras and the charity donation. The cottage we chose was superb, well decorated, very clean, and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was amazing! The welcome pack of tea, coffee, shortbread and fresh milk was very well received, just what we'd been missing living in France. On the last night, we received a card from the owners saying that they hoped we had had a good time and that as the cottage was not booked for the next day, we could check out by 4pm rather than 10am at no extra cost. It's little touches like this that make you feel really welcome.All in all, a superb experience, we couldn't have asked for more. It's rare to find everything through one company and we will definitely be using Harrogate Holidays again. Highly recommended!!

Very pleased with the service received and the accomodation was very good quality.

Wharfe View Cottage was a real pleasure to visit, with wonderful views and clean modern facilities. We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed the many towns, cities and country walks within easy reach.

Becky and family were right on hand to help with anything, and we would have no hesitation in returning for another stay, or recommending the cottage to others.

Booking was very simple with Harrogate Holidays, who were easy to communicate with.

Booked a property with Harrogate holidays for our friends wedding in June. The knowledge of the staff and the service was brilliant and hassle free, the accommodation was excellent and was as described if not better and we had a lovely relaxing time. We will definitely use Harrogate holidays again.

The flat had its own parking space, but to reach the front of the building you had to climb up 2 sets of wooden steps (each equivalent to a flight of stairs). The flat was then up a further 4 flights of stairs to the top of the building. None of this was mentioned in the advertisement. As it was at the top of the house the living/dining area was quite small for 4 adults. A table cloth had been put between the glass top and legs of the table so that the top was mobile each time the table was moved and it had to be moved each time the 4 of us wanted to eat together. The DVD did not open to enable us to put a DVD in. The kitchen contained the basics, but was not excessively stocked, and appliances were clean, although there were only 3 dessert spoons and using the cooker would have been easier if there had been instructions available. The bathroom, again, was clean and airy, although the toilet seat needs attention to prevent the trapping of leg hairs or thigh skin! The second bedroom had just enough room for the 2 single beds and like the other rooms one piece of furniture less would have given more room for movement. The mattresses on the 2 beds pushed together in the bigger bedroom were uncomfortable and painful to lie on as the springs almost protruded through the coverings. The small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were a nice gesture, but what was the use of one complimentary bathrobe and slippers between the 4 of us? Some of the appliances were not up to date with their electrical checks as the stickers on them identified. Considering all of this and the amount paid for the 3 nights we felt that the departure instructions were rather insulting; cleaning the oven, stripping the beds and taking all rubbish to the bins down 5 flights of stairs! The flat was on quite a busy and noisy road most of the day and night. There was a very convenient Asda only 10 minutes walk away. Staying in Harrogate regularly I can say that we all felt let down by this particular flat and will not be staying here again or recommending it to anyone.

We had a lovely holiday in a house full of character on the Knaresborough Waterside. Booking was easy, the website had all the information we needed. The accommodation was great, we look forward to our next holiday!

Harrogate holidays has been extremely helpful all along. The house was just perfect. Great space and location for town centre.

Only downside was the smell of damp in the bottom bedroom.

This appartment had all you needed! Very clean, bright, nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable, one with a en suite with huge shower. The main bathroom was enormous with a shower unit and bath. Towels with also provided in the price. I loved the complimentary toiletries. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate with biscuits were left for us to enjoy on our arrival and were needed as we didn't arrive until midnight. Great location in the centre of Harrogate. Shops and restaurants were a 2 minute walk away. Loved this appartment. Would definitely go again. Beautiful town and surrounding countryside.

The property was spotless and ultra modern, also very central to everything. Would definitely stay here again. The service was very
effecient.

Thank you for providing such fantastic holiday accommodation. Bucken Pike Loft was perfect - really spacious, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Lovely touches such as the fluffy white towels, robes & slippers made it feel special.

Our apartment was just as described, very central and everything was clean and worked as it should, being very well equipped.

When you need a break from a busy life.You need to know that when you arrive at your holiday cottage you are not going to be dissapointed. We arrived at Harrogate and our holiday break started with no problems or booking issues. The time went too quickly.

Everything was superb.The cottage,the area,even the weather !
If you want a great week away I can't recommend this accomadation and area enough.

Booked this house for a girl's weekend away - 5 of us. The house was lovely, modern, clean, bright, with all the amenities. Really liked that it is a leisurely walk into the centre of Harrogate, from the house.
Would definitely return to this accommodation if we are in Harrogate again!

I would highly recommed the company as everything provide was brillant. The cottage we stayed in was amazing the owners of the cottage could not of been more helpful and every little detail was catered for. The cottage it self was furnished to a very high standered and was amazing. The cottage we stayed in was cowslip i would highly recommed both there cottages. Fanstaic value for money.

I booked 4 appartments for 15 of us we had a truely fabulous stay. It was so comfortable and smart. The appartments had everything we could need.The view into the park lovely.

I have only stayed in this one apartment, but if the others are of this quality I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Lovely big Victorian apartment overlooking the Stray which was very well appointed and had lots of little touches that made it feel like home rather than a rental. Good administration from the company. Loved that they posted the keys to you so no worries about what time to arrive and meet someone. Would have liked a slightly later checkout than 10am - but that was a minor niggle.
