Horrendous customer service experience in the shop, the manager decided to vent his frustration at me after they had sent the wrong part - after speaking on the phone to the warehouse they sent the part to the shop to collect. I drove an hour and a half to collect this and was disgusted and horrified to be tersely told by the "manager" I needed to pay and that the shop and warehouse were two separate businesses. It was a small error from the warehouse in sending the item, which I had paid for and this was a simple swap but he said he knew nothing about it and the warehouse were "going to effing get it". He dismissed me with a wave of his hand and was very rude to a paying customer.
Completely unprovoked stinking attitude, I will NEVER shop here again.

I gave the incorrect delivery address and the Royal Mail lost it instead of returning the package to Hannants. Hannants very kindly replaced the goods ordered. Massively impressed especially as the delivery address error was my fault!

You order: they tell you your item has been dispatched: it arrives. As simple as that, over many years as a customer.

Never had a problem during more than 10 years. Once only mistaken shipment : immediate and quick refund .... on more than 1000 items ordered and correctly supplied.

I've used the order service many times, excellent service every time.
Also if you are near Lowestoft, Go in and look around, it's amazing, you will not! Come out empty handed

I have been ordering from Hannants for years and have never encountered any issue. Fast delivery to Canada and the Hannants store offers all kinds of items that are are hard to find, all in one stop. The inventory counts keeps an accurate picture of the inventory level. I like shopping here and am very happy with the service. Keep up the good work folks.

Misguided my purchase but gave full refund. Somewhat lacking in communication though. Good overall experience.

had my first order received this week, unfortunately two items were wrong, several emails went unanswered so i checked this website and was concerned at the issue some people have had with returns, however I must say when i spoke to the very helpful person who deals with returns he told me they would send the correct ones out that day (yesterday) and to return back the wrong items and they would refund postage. Correct items received today, can't complain despite hiccup in order all sorted with minimum fuss, perhaps others have not been so fortunate but I would use hannants again.

I have used Hannants for 20 years and have always had excellent service. Any return issues, whether my fault or theirs, have been dealt with immediately and always in my favour.

Despite what some reviewers say I have had absolutely no problems whatsoever. I have used Hannants for years and on the rare occasion when I had an issue it was resolved quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended.

Excellent. Contrary to some reviewers, I did once return an over-ordered item and got an immediate refund. Recommended.

Purchased items advertised as 1/72 scale, for use on a Revell U-boat kit upgrade. The parts were in fact 1/144 scale, so not as advertised and of no use to me. I sent a polite email which remains unanswered. Contacted via Paypal - still no response. I escalated to Paypal dispute who ruled in my favour and organised a refund. Annoyingly, I still had to pay the return postage cost. It seems to me that Hannants have a wizard wheeze going whereby they can post the wrong parts out, ignore the purchaser and be sure that Paypal will sort out the problems at the customer's cost (for return postage). I would not use Hannants again, nor would I recommend them. Like other reviewers observe, Hannants have NO discernible customer service ethic. If your order is okay, you have no problems. If there is an issue however, don't expect them to sort it out

I have ordered from Hannants for a couple of years now and have been very impressed. I am in the US and they have many kits that I just can't get from US vendors. Their shipping has always been quick and efficient. Their site updates me about the progress of the package and when to expect arrival. I will continue to order from them.

I have had a few purchases from Hannants - including both branches , London and Lowestoft - I recommend especially the one in Lowestoft - which is your best bet if you want a ' personal ' service - I have to say all my purchases were excellent with no complaints - and all my purchases were 1/48 Aircraft Kits and etch sets

Recently started using this company for my modelling supplies and so far no problems at all . Very quick delivery and easy site to navigate.Its a big thumbs up from me !

All goods i have orderred have arrived faster than expected , at good postage costs , at keen prices , and with fantastic service.

I bought a kit which had a manufacturing error. Hannants took a while to get back to me but refunded me. A few months later I got a package containing the missing part - a very nice gesture!

I've used Hannants for years. Never had a problem, deliveries turn up on time and in good order. Website can be a bit tricky to navigate, but once you get used to it all is good.
Huge range of products, a stock counter to tell you how many are held in stock, postage charges reasonable & calculated by placing a product in the basket.
There are cheaper sites out there, but none to match the range that Hannants offers. With free delivery with orders over £100, it's well worth ordering in batches to save paying delivery charges.

I bought two small kits from them and one was faulty.
No answer to my emails when I complained or when I asked for a refund.
I returned the kit and still no answer to emails.
Just plain ignorant people - Stay well away.
I've noticed the 5 star reviews on this page are from people who have bought from them and had no problems - All I can say is wait until you have to return something, see how many stars you give them then!!!
