Wow so it's not only me then I ordered over £150 off items on the 10th all now still no delivery, I have spoke to hamleys a number off times but all they can say is sorry???? That's not going to put Christmas presents under the tree. It's so disappointing and only a few days to Christmas that's half the presents left at the north Poole my poor children!

Now I have to run around tomorrow and buy items that were supposed to be delivered by hamleys and wait for a refund....... So that's no toys no money!

What a shame HAMLEYS!

Made an order for my sons main Christmas present a week before their websites “Christmas delivery deadline”, only received a confirmation of order but nothing else. Rang up their customer service to be told “all orders take at least 5 days to process before they’re dispatched” meaning that anyone that ordered this week before the deadline they’ve stated have been absolutely conned and will not receive their items in time. They assured me they would request the warehouse to speed up my order as I had been waiting 8 working days already. Today still nothing…

I am horrified that a business like this is allowed to keep trading, they’ve outright lied to their customers about delivery times, took peoples money before Christmas and now my son is going to wonder why he didn’t get the one thing he asked for. Please if you’re reading this avoid this company like the plague.

Ordered named day delivery Tuesday (19th) No delivery received, so I sent query via messenger - no reply. Unable to access my account -'error' message, so couldn't track order this way. Phoned today, 'hopefully' delivery by Friday!!!!! Awful service, will never use again.

Ordered a toy for Christmas in plenty of time. Chased it up today as still not despatched to be told they cannot confirm when it will be sent.

It's clearly an overseas call centre. When pushed she said they had a robbery in their warehouse in November that is causing delays, I doubt this is true.

I just wish I had read the reviews before I ordered, I assumed it was a reputable company.

They've taken my money knowing they couldn't deliver in time for Christmas and I'll have to explain why Santa hasn't given my son the one toy he wanted :-(

What a dreadful experience / placed order on the 10th december / still no tracking number, store says its busy and they are trying to get orders out before xmas, yet on their website they were taking xmas deliveries up until the 20th december , i asked them to take that off the website as they cannot get anything delivered from oredres 10 days ago / foreign customer complaints line , how convenient, that just says we are working hard to get the order out to you before xmas but no guarantees !!! will never ise this store again

Wished I could give them 0 stars. Hands down the worst online order experience ever. Ordered and paid for multiple items at the beginning of November thinking there is plenty of time before Xmas. Did not receive an email confirmation which when chased up 2 days later was told the order had been received (I knew this as my card had been charged) and they would resend email confirmation which I did not receive. Chased up the order 3 weeks later and was told there had been an error with the courier and parcel had been lost but the courier had already advised that they were still awaiting to receive the parcel from Hamleys which was never sent. Only then to be told they no longer had stock and will refund the money in mid December which has ruined Xmas for the kids. Hope you are happy with yourselves Hamleys.

Will never buy from this company ever again. Be warned people they are useless and lie out of their teeth!!

Ordered on the 12th Dec. have not heard anything since, customer service in India all they say is I completely understand but can't do anything, I don't think i'm getting my order for xmas its 8 days since I put the order in, terrible service and I'm totally stuck, you took my money. I'm so stressed now.i have no presents.

I placed a Christmas order on 15th December , money was taken out of my account but I have not received a confirmation email, therefore I don't have a tracking number and still no delivery. Getting close to Christmas and I'm very concerned we are going to be several presents down. Can any customer service help?

Online order has arrived now thank-you.You're service needs improving so you can give people accurate information on delivery status.The products arrived in good condition and they were a very good price.

AWFUL.
They sent a faulty item and now saying I need the manufacturer to refund me, despite it being ONE day since I purchased the item. Now they are telling me to wait while they see what should be done. It is like they do not respect distant selling laws at all.

If I could give a zero rating I would.
The Hamleys I knew growing up was exciting and fun especially at Christmas.
My recent visit with my grandson was a shock. It was boring unexciting. Hardly any Christmas decor. Instead your confronted on entry by staff who's sole purpose was to sell products. The store looked tacky unmaintained ,grubby. It is no longer the Hamleys I knew. Last time I visit Hamleys. Extremely disappointing visit

Told by customer service they cannot accommodate a disabled child and they should not visit the London store during December because it is busy. Have asked for a manager to respond to this discrimination. Disgusted that a company this size do not give adequate inclusion training to customer service reps

Ordered an entire generation's worth if christmas gifts at the end of November, during a black Friday event. Everything seemed fine - order placed on a Wednesday, checked on Friday and it still hadn't been picked in store. Understandably they were busy due to time of year and the current sale. It said estimated dispatch would be Monday, delivery date Tuesday. Checked again over the weekend, estimated times for dispatch and delivery had been changed to N/A. Slight alarm bells started ringing. Checked the reviews (which I hadn't before this point) and became rather alarmed because christmas was resting on this delivery. Nothing changed Monday morning and I was contemplating cancelling the order. I shouldn't have been worried though as by Monday evening the parcel had been dispatched and arrived on Wednesday morning. Everything that I had ordered was delivered, no issues with anything. Will be ordering again through Hamleys - my experience was fine. 1 star less than perfect due to the confusion the delivery updates was giving me over the weekend.

What a horrendously scary experience!!!
As a family we took Our nephew celebrating his 18 birthday.He has a severe disability, as well as autism.The experience was scary from start to finish.the amount of people at the entrance of the store ,trying to get in,and out,was dangerous.(There was not one member of staff from Hamleys,organizing a que system,as a matter of health and safety)when we got into the store,there was 2 members of staff,plus others either side of the entrance,promoting toys which added to the congestion).There was no organization at all,what made it so dangerous.God forbid if there was an emergency in there,you wouldn’t stand a chance of getting out.Hence why we got out of there as soon as possible.I know it’s a busy time of year,but you’d expect some sort of organization,AS A MATTER OF HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR CUSTOMERS AND CHILDREN.It totally ruined our first,and last experience in Hamleys.It just Proves the point,that these mega stores,only think of the money going into the tills,and not the safety of customers,most importantly CHILDREN(I seen many in tears)The manager of this store should be ashamed of themselves,and needs to get on a HEALTH AND SAFETY course IMMEDIATELY.

this store charges 60 pounds for a tiny,ugly and gimiky drone which charges for 2 HOURS AND ONLY LIGHTS up with no flying and NOOOO ONLY ABOIT 1 minute of non air-born service never EVER BUY FROM THIS DUMB STORE EVER AGAIN AND PLESE COPY MY EXACCCTTTT WORDS AGAIN EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

Absolutely shocked at the quality and presentation of Paddington Bear. I was expecting it to be packaged in a Hamleys box or at the very least have a Hamleys label. it arrived just in a plastic bag. The hat didn't fit and he had a limp and couldn't stand straight. Totally unacceptable.

I have purchased from Hamleys store from 17th September 2023 and the product was defeated and complain so many times but not received any solution.My product is also with Hamleys store and they are not giving it also .
I am really very upset with Hamleys store Noida India.Don’t go there .Worst place.
