Halcyon have been great, i highly recommend them. Our skipper (Andrew Moore) was really experienced and helped us get the most out of the boat and went over and above in all aspects.

Following an incapacitating accident which prohibited sailing our boat home from La Trinite-sur-Mer to Falmouth, Halcyon were recommended to us as a delivery company. Notwithstanding the unfortunate circumstances, the entire process with Halcyon was excellent from the first quote to the final handover. Their professionalism and responsiveness gave us a feeling of great confidence. Of course, a lot of the success of such a delivery comes down to the crew. The skipper, Justin, was outstanding. Not only was he a highly experienced and top-quality sailor but his communications skills were second to none. It is hard to imagine that anything could have gone better and we would highly recommend Halcyon.

Justin Crowther and his team joined Galileo (First 47.7) in February 2022 in Naples for a delivery to Las Palmas. On boarding they found a lot of work that should have been done had not been completed, so they proceeded to draw up a work list for approval, and then got on with the job of readying the boat. The list eventually comprised in excess of 150 items, most of which were done by the crew themselves.

Due to the delay, we asked Justin to bring the boat to Antigua, which he did. We flew over shortly thereafter for sailing week, and found the boat in perfect condition.

Even now Justin is available by phone for some warranty issues. Halcyon will definitely be my first choice for any future deliveries.

Halcyon provided me with a Yachtmaster instructor to help us on a trip from Marmaris to Northern Spain. They made the whole process very simple to set up and delivered exactly what they had said they would.

We had some challenges on the trip and Dave Preston, the skipper they provided, was excellent. His experience and practical skills shone through and provided the confidence and advice that we had wanted. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Halcyon.

I recently worked with the Halcyon team in delivering my Jenneau SO42DS from Blankenberge Belgium to Cork Ireland, where they provided a skipper and crew.

Overall the experience was 1st class in all aspects of the trip, such as route planning, communications, boat preparation and delivery execution.

As well as getting the technical aspects of the trip spot on, we really had an enjoyable trip with our skipper Glenn Upton and crew Robbie McGregor.

Even though we didn't need them during the trip, you always felt the shore team were on standby to sort out any issues if they arose.

The boat was cleaned and handed over in a spotless condition which was a really nice touch.

I'd have no problem in recommending Halcyon to any of my friends.

From start to finish Halcyon Yachts provided an excellent service, from a straight forward booking service to dealing with customs on arrival to UK. The skipper was very professional in the planning and the execution of the delivery making sure that the crew (including myself as owner) were consulted and fully aware of the passage plan. The weather was against us but the skipper planned a route that avoided the worst of it. At no time did I feel that unnecessary risks were being taken to meet deadlines. I would highly recommend Halcyon for your yacht delivery.

Communication was excellent. They went out of their way to make the delivery stress free and were very helpful pointing out any issues with the boat. Appreciated the short notice delivery. The crew left the boat in a tidy manner as well. Will use again in the future.

A really great company to deal with, personable, totally professional and great with communicating with you on all aspects of yacht delivery. It is crystal clear my skipper, Mark and crew Susan , both with top mariner qualifications were devoted sailors but also fantastic company. I could not have done without their encouragement and professionalism as I suffered seasickness on passage in the Irish Sea and they boosted morale and made the passage seem much easier. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Halcyon Yachts recently moved my boat from Oban in Scotland to North Wales.The delivery crew were excellent. Very friendly, thorough, safe and professional. The delivered the boat at the agreed time despite some difficult weather. At the end of the trip the boat was spotless and their handover was very informative. Thanks very much indeed.

I needed to get my recently purchased yacht from Ipswich to Gosport and had a crew ready to help me. Due to the weather changing had to push the dates and lost my crew. Contacted Halcyon and they happilly arranged to have Peter Grimes available for the trip. The trip had its moments and problems were sorted methodically and logically which enabled us to press on and complete each leg of the trip on time.
I thought Peter’s knowledge and experience was the key factor in the trip being able to proceed. We experienced some not so kind weather and a bitter cold wind and the only people out in early March.
Peter was excellent and I would recommend him to others without hesitation. If I needed help again he would be my first number to dial.

Crewing for Halcyon Yachts were my best sailing experiences. I took part in the Delivery Skipper Development Program in 2020 and logged over 3,000 nautical miles on a variety of different boats across Europe.

Pete and Minka went above and beyond to make sure I got the mix of sailing I was looking for to bolster my experience after completing my Day Skipper course. I joined expert ocean skippers to deliver boats such as Moodys, Beneteaus, brand new Lagoons and even a Hallberg Rassy. I crossed the Bay of Biscay twice, the Irish sea and of course the English Channel plenty of times too!

For anyone considering crewing for Halcyon - I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

When I'm lucky enough to have my own yacht, I also know where I'll be coming to get assistance moving it :)

We recruited Halcyon to run an IPV coded sea trial on a 53' ketch we are looking to purchase. The service was great - very well organised.
