Stop preying on vulnerable people...you…

Stop preying on vulnerable people...you took advantage of my elderly parents...its taken a few months to get out of them that you charged them 17 thousand pounds for 2 chairs and of all things a rise and recliner 2 seater sofa that they dont need they dont even sit on it....17 THOUSAND POUNDS ...PRESSURE SELLING ROBBERS..even the delivery was rushed......and over in ten minutes.....17 THOUSAND POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would give you no stars but it won't let me.....steer clear of this company.....

My parents dont know I have done this as they are elderly and vulnerable....there postcode is HP7 9HZ
MRS J BAILEY...They were sold the sofa for 3 thousand. As a deal lol ..making each chair 7.5 thousand each.whoooo... there is also a trade in on their old suit..so in effect it was more than the 17 GRAND

For clarity, all of our products are made to order and priced according to the individual specifications selected and agreed by the customer prior to proceeding. We also phone every customer following their appointment to ensure they are happy with everything, giving them the opportunity to ask questions or raise any concerns before their order is placed into production.

We recognise that purchases of this nature involve careful consideration, which is why we have clear processes in place to ensure customers are fully informed before proceeding and can only apologise that you are not satisfied with your parents’ purchase.

Had the home visit today

Had the home visit today, Nigel was most helpful, knew his stuff and explained everything thoroughly to me. You can tell he is very proud of the product and after sitting in the chair I could see why. It convinced me to not only buy the riser decliner chair but to also get a sofa. Can’t wait for them to arrive now.

Have a good look around before you buy

We purchased two rise and recline chairs from Grosvenor Mobility on the day the chairs were delivered I contacted the company and explained there was a problem it was like sitting on a slab of concrete.
They tried to rectify the problem on four occasions but had no success,they advised me to go to Trading Standards and they said they would abide by their decision, Trading Standards policy is if they cannot fix the problem after four attempts then they should make a full refund but Grosvenor Mobility totally reneged on this decision and refused to come and see the problem they directed me to the Furniture Ombudsman which is a paid up membership after several months the report from the Ombudsman was virtually word for word as Grosvenor Mobility had written. To me it seems like an old boys club. We are left with two chairs that are not fit for purpose as you cannot sit in them for longer than thirty minuet as it affects the base of your back and legs.
Having spent more than thirty years as a production and development engineer to the Textile and Furniture and bedding trade in my opinion these are the worst chairs that I have ever come across and the company moto is everyone deserves some comfort [I think they forgot to finish the sentence ] except you.
The engineer only checked the chair mechanism which was never in question, all we wanted was chairs that were usable which they are not.

As you are aware, following your initial concerns, we arranged for an independent furniture and upholstery technician to carry out a full inspection of both chairs. Their report confirmed that no manufacturing or material faults were identified.

Despite no faults being found, we made efforts to support you as a gesture of goodwill, including replacing the seat interiors and arranged for our Regional Manager to visit you on two separate occasions to review the situation in person.

We would also like to clarify the role of The Furniture Ombudsman. They are an independent and impartial organisation that reviews cases based on the evidence provided by both the customer and the retailer. Their findings are not influenced by either party, and both we and our customers are bound by their final decision, regardless of the outcome.

We are sorry this has not resulted in the outcome you were hoping for. However, we respect and will abide by the Ombudsman’s final decision.

I have already expressed my absolute gratitude to All the Team at Grosvenor Mobility for giving Great Service when buying our new bed.
Further to this We would like to say how Helpful and Understanding they were (James) when we realised that the mattresses were not indeed suitable. We had made the wrong choice, but this was remedied by James who gladly exchanged the mattresses for more suitable ones.
Again Thank You for All Your Support, and We have Only The Highest Praise for Everyone Involved.
If Anyone is in the Market for an Adjustable Bed, Give Grosvenor Beds A Call.

Our new suite

Received our new furniture yesterday and we are delighted with it, it is very well made and very comfortable.
All the staff we met and spoke to by phone were very polite and friendly,

Scenario of my Rise Recline Chair

I purchased my Rise Recliner chair in July 2025. It cost £5k but after a think about it I decided not to proceed with purchase but was talked into proceeding when price was dropped to £3k. When it arrived unknown to me the back rest cushions were put in back to front and the neck support didn’t do much. After-sales came and sorted the cushions. The representative said that a credit for the the neck support be forth coming - it wasn’t. To be honest I don’t find the chair at all comfortable ! Today, my controller went faulty and although the chair is under guarantee Customer Service responded by putting a replacement in the post for my husband to fit - personally not happy because husband is Registered Partally Sighted (too proud to decline their request but he says he’ll do his best) - once done I’ve decided to sell the chair on. Costly Lesson Learned.

In relation to the controller issue, we posted a replacement handset to you as an initial step in order to try and resolve the fault as quickly as possible, rather than waiting for an engineer appointment. We understand you were unable to fit this yourself, so we have now arranged for an engineer to visit your home to install the replacement for you.

We are also very sorry to hear that the agreed credit for the neck support was not processed as expected. We will ensure this is followed up and actioned this week.

Thorough Assessment

The agent was courteous and very thorough in his attention to my needs in terms of comfort and fit of the riser recliner chair and in the correct measurements taken to ensure it was a perfect fit.
The delivery was excellent,earlier than estimated and again everything was checked it was to my satisfaction and made sure I was confident using the chair before they left.The chair is comfortable and has certainly helped me to stand more easily.

Very happy with the bespoke electric bed

I have given 5 stars as we are very pleased with the electric bed and the delivery guys were very courteous and understanding of mum's needs. However, I felt pressurised by the Salesrep in making a decision on the spot which I refused to do as I already knew I wanted to buy the bed.

Best nights sleep ever

From my initial contact with Grovsenor to the installation of my bed I was treated with efficiency, knowledge and care. A demonstration bed was brought out to my home, I was Shown how to use the bed and how it could help me getting in and out of bed. I was given a time frame for the making and delivery of my bed which was upheld. I was informed at each stage of my delivery.
I can only say now that the first night in my bed I had the best night's sleep for several years, the mattress was like a cocoon around my body. I would recommend Grovsenor beds to anyone with mobility problems.

Excellent quality, not off the shelf

Steve, the rep was lovely. He wasn't pushy like some reps are and catered for my dad's needs. Also lowered the price to make it more affordable. Very professional service from start to finish and dad loves his new recliner! It's very well made and the material looks fabulous. Well done Grosvenor, made to measure quality chair that's built to last!

Although price was higher than expected…

Although price was higher than expected when ordering, the end result is great & while I'm sure whoever reads this will be as equally sceptical about this review as I am when reading positive feedback both my partner & I are absolutely pleased with our new bed & if anything we only wished we had ordered sooner.
