We the Parish Council have been working…
We the Parish Council have been working with and supporting Greenbelt over a heritage crime (theft of large coping stones off their wall) in our area.
Greenbelt have been very forthcoming in their gratitude and appreciation. So much so they have donated £500 to Rufford and Holmeswood Parish Council, for which we are very grateful and appreciative as this will help to fund other projects for our community.

Following up my September enquiry V2
A month ago I received an email 21st November from Greenbelt's "Customer Care" stating reports I requested in September on behalf of our Residents' Association will be sent across "in due course". I have still not received them. What exactly do we pay an annual £65 per property per you admin fee to you for because it certainly isn't "customer care"? This is a continuation of the same appalling interaction with Greenbelt dating back to 2018 when we entered into a prolonged dispute with you regarding your significant annual charge increase that year. Since then there have been a catalogue of issues including 7-day harassment letters not specified in our Deeds, 14% annual fee increases and other concerning issues. I would be grateful if you could send the information first requested 3 months ago, as promised in your email 21st November.
I note your failure to adhere to your Customer Care Charter:

Helpful and supportive with billing issue
Vicky was really helpful and support with a billing error.
She put me at ease and told me not to worry and resolved the matter for me instantly whilst on the phone.
She set up a direct debit to prevent further future issues.
When I checked my account she had already processed the error and added the statement schedule for the new DD.
She was brilliant.
If I’ve ever had an issue with Greenbelt, they’ve always been very supportive and helpful.

No work has taken place for anything to go wrong! I have been reading reviews on trustpilot to find one which Greenbelt visit every 2 weeks.....I was complaining about supposed work done in our area and receiving a further bill as cutting a tree back doesn't count as maintenance. Then was told the area behind my house is maintained once annually?! I haven't seen anyone out at the area behind my property in easily 2yrs. Also all the vegetation does not prove they have been there either. My husband built me a summer house a few years ago then tree branches grew that much they were starting to lean on the roof. I called Greenbelt to get them out to sort the issue they told me I shouldn't have built it there? Why is it a problem to them where I build things on my property! Fast forward a couple of months I managed to catch the guy who was sent to maintain that area and asked him why he hasn't touched that part of their land. He told me he doesn't have ladders so couldn't do it. I was like I have ladders and he didn't have any choice but to do it. That's the last I have seen them. I am sick of contacting them to get nowhere and they still expect the money. Today on the phone I asked them to prove that they have been out within the last 2 years like before and after pics maybe? A report of the inspection after the works. Also read inspection reports cost more money on top of what we are paying if this is the case we are being robbed of 2 lots of money for nothing. When you call them you get nowhere and go round in circles.

Tree works are not part of routine maintenance, they are charged as an additional and the work is carried out in the matters of health and safety or if recommended via the annual tree audit conducted by a qualified arborist, the trees are also monthly inspected by the regional operations manager.
We have requested if you can take photos of the tree in question and send them into our customer care team to allow them to look into this for you.
Greenbelt operates a policy of only working on trees for the following reasons: The tree is dead, diseased or dying, It is posing a direct risk (too close to or touching your home) or for reasons of tree and woodland health (preserving the trees/woodlands).
This ensures that we fulfil our aim of protecting trees, as well as ensuring when we are applying additional costs to our customers, they can be sure the charges are justified and necessary.

Absolute a scam of a company
This company has increased the bill every year while absolute doing nothing, the breakdown of the bill includes suspicious items. My area looks like an abandon area. Absolutely terrible, the bad news is that their name in the contract for ten year and the county council doesn't care about our feedback at all.

Biggest waste of space
Biggest waste of space, just a license to print money, price keeps going up for them to do little to nothing and when they do they charge a fortune for something that could be done Much Much cheaper. They come along in their vans driving all over the grass damaging it, to then come back another time to fix what they damaged but then charge us for the pleasure. I wish I would have known before buying my house.

Another yearly bill of fictitious…
Another yearly bill of fictitious charges with no evidence to support repairs were necessary or have indeed taken place.
Ever increasing bills year on year and an £88 admin fee this year! Greenbelt have failed to maintain areas of our estate and continue to charge for repairs to play areas and fences, of which we were not informed of.
If you are considering a property that has Greenbelt managing the open spaces I would strongly consider walking away! They will have you paying more with each year that passes, and you have no choice!
Absolutely disgusted by Greenbelt!
