The company was engaging, friendly and very helpful. Aimee was especially caring and supportive.

Through Gen at GRB I was able to find a perfect graduate job. Although with how easy the whole process was made - I could say the job found me.

Of course the interviews required by the company were a challenge, but every assistance Gen provided in the getting my foot in the door and keeping the ball rolling took as well as preparing for the interviews, meant I could relax and could solely focus on giving a good interview on the day.

Also Gen was amazing at drawing attention to aspects of my CV that I would have been more modest about were I to have approached the company myself. It was very useful to have my own personal advertiser through the process :)

I could not recommend Gen and GRB more.

My thanks also to Tieneke who originally approached me about a different graduate scheme. Whilst I did not end up going for this scheme, every member of GRB I spoke to was incredibly helpful!

In the interest of a well-rounded review, the only improvement I would suggest would be a prompt to adjust my CV between applying to different schemes. This wasn't a major issue, I would only have changed a sentence or two at most and evidently this presented no issues in getting the job I did.

I had an excellent experience with GRB throughout the entire application process, and can't recommend Jake Narraway highly enough. He was communicative, encouraging and insightful throughout, and at all points in the process I felt supported. I've now started in a role and company I love and am very grateful for GRB's help in getting here. Thank you!

I have recently started a new job which I discovered courtesy of Elena at the Graduate Recruitment Bureau. Elena was incredible throughout the entire process and frequently contacted me by phone and email to ensure that I was as prepared as I could be for interviews. The GRB have helped me get an incredible job to start my career! They phoned me with a role that they thought suited my CV/aspirations for work and within a few days I had my first interview booked. Had a great experience with graduate recruitment bureau. Very friendly, enthusiastic when coming up with job roles for me to do with what I was interested in. Came up with some interesting options for job roles that I would not have found myself all which were still related to my interests. Stayed very positive and didn’t give up after getting rejected by one job after getting to a final interview stage, then went on to find a different role where I then got the job and was very pleased with that role. Would definitely recommend to other engineering graduates looking for a job.

I've been at my job secured thanks to GRB for two months now. Within a month of contacting GRB, Ian had reached out to me about the role, arranged an interview, and organised handing over the contract to me.
Throughout this time the team also sent me a range of other available jobs. My search for a role after graduation was becoming increasingly frustrating, especially given that I was only looking for a role in the charity sector. GRB were the most helpful recruitment company I've come across. They were quick to adapt my job recommendations and let me know when new opportunities came up.

Terrible ! They are not helpful at all !

I have been applying to jobs with GRB for at least a year. Despite having graduated with in Economics. I only received one interview. Just loads of unrelated job adverts. But still hardly any interviews and the one interview I had no feedback. Honestly, best thing you can do is by applying directly to the company. GRB can't get you a job. At the end of the day you are just another number to them.

I received lots of unprompted phone calls and emails which I was unable to unsubscribe from. I also received "targeted" job adverts with essential criteria that clearly did not match my profile (e.g. STEM degree, specific language fluency). This "matching" system really needs to be improved.

An interesting opportunity was sent to me which I applied for and was put forward for interview. The recruiter did not send me an interview link on time meaning I was 10 minutes late to the interview, and luckily the interviewers waited for me. I was put forward to the next stage and was told that the GRB recruiter would continue contact and send me details nearer the time, and this never happened. I have received no further communication from GRB regarding this role, and I have no internal contact details for the company.

It seems that even on the small chance that you go beyond the stage of sending a CV to a recruiter and receiving no further contact, you will still be ghosted.

Efficient communication and good match of my experience and skills with the position.

After signing up and receiving emails from GRB it allowed me to look into employment areas I wouldn’t originally pick out myself but were perfect for my skill set. Mia has been amazing though out the whole process in keeping me updated and helping to prepare for interviews which immediately made me feel more comfortable. She was always available for help via email and the phone calls helped to settle nerves, having her as a bridge of communication between myself and the role allowed me to secure a job offer which I am so excited about and I couldn’t have done it without the help of Mia and Emma at GRB!

Coming from a recruitment background I know a good recruiter when I see one - Beth Terry kept me up to date every step of the way and was superb in securing me a new role in a new sector, preparing me more than adequately for the process and making what would have been a tough competency/role play based interview a seamless experience. 10/10 service - highly recommended!
