We called their office about a property advertised online. The woman who answered said the property was no longer available. This property has been advertised by them at least for a few weeks while at the same time actually not on the market any more. When we asked why still advertised the woman hunged up the call.

Extremely unprofessional estate agency - south west London area. I literally felt harassed on the telephone to provide my email and phone number when I was only enquiring about a property, not even trying to view it. It was a man on the other end and he made me feel very uneasy. I will not be looking at properties with them ever since they would have my home address too. It's an appalling industry.

Useless waste of space. Lettings Guildford. Full of excuses and lies. Ask a question by email???? Don't bother. Can wait up to ten days for a response if you keep pestering. Can't wait to get rid. They forget we pay there wages with OUR property's. Avoid avoid at all costs.

Deposit: I rented an apartment for over 1.5 years (small studio flat), I got it dirty, including the tools left in it, the walls were unpainted, full of dust and paint smeared on door frames, doors, etc. I gave away the apartment, which was very clean and practically ready for rent. For this, my deposit was charged with enormous amounts that are far from reality. The cost of painting was £600, cleaning £180 etc. for a studio flat which was beautifully cleaned. Even on the report they could not distinguish the pink cube in the water in the toilet that cleans from the scale in the water from the scale in the water. I consider it extortion and fraud. Unprofessional team and lack of trust in this company including the deposit management company.

Daniel Beckson has been exemplary, He has visited us many times and used his expertise to help us to complete all the complicated forms. I was unable to send documents to the solicitors and he has facilitated all the necessary communication.

His close watch on the progress of the negotiations and kept us in the picture.

Have just purchased a flat through Gascoigne Pees Redhill branch and can not fault at all Daniel Beckson, he went way and beyond with this sale and I can highly recommend him. A great asset to Gascoigne Pees. Also Janene Haynes was very helpful too.

They would lie and say anything to get you to sign the dotted line(basingstoke office) , they claimed the property was managed by them but once I ran into my 1st issue in a few days they refuse to do anything. Absolutely disgusting, steer clear of them

I cannot thank Emily (head of lettings, Farnham office) enough for finding me new tenants after poor experience with previous agent (a completely different company.) She achieved a 35% increase in gross rent for me, too! I noted more proactivity in 3 weeks from GPees than in 3 years from their predecessors. I was kept fully informed before and after every viewing, and despite most viewings taking place in appalling wet weather there was never a sign of recent footfall across the brand new carpet. If I could give them six stars, I would!

We have a listing with this company who has been professional and friendly up to the point of customer visits to our property.

We have a carpeted flat and both the agent and the customer did not remove their shoes when showing the flat. What makes me furious was that on the day of the visit it was raining and muddy and yet there was NO consideration shown in removing shoes to access the property.

We complained to the branch manager Michael White who apologised and I've just had a 2nd visit from another customer and again NO SHOES removed on access and guess what's going on outside right now.

Absolutely disgusting and appalling service, it is common courtesy to be considerate of another family's home and yet none was shown and not only that, after having already complained once already you neglect to follow up on it.

Undecided yet what to do as I was unable to reach the branch manager.

Had the best experience with the lettings team. Ben showed us around the property originally and answered any question we could have. He always kept us updated on every step of the application process for our property. Overall a really great experience, easy, fast and would recommend them to a friend when looking for their next property.

Thank you for turning my rental property around so quickly. Great effort and support through the whole process. Always avaliable for questions and never too busy to reply. Would highly recommend them for any landlords.

Warning! Fraud! Avoid buying uniforms from this company - at all costs. The company would not refund me - for a product that they never confirmed was ordered, but for which I was charged (I tried to check out, and apparently it worked, although no confirmation was issued). I had to follow up three times asking for a refund, as they did not send the items. Only after I threatened to file a complaint did they take action.

The customer service agent, Sarah, made up many stories - about the order being confirmed, about refunding me in 7-10 days, etc. She never apologized. Instead, she responded with excuse after excuse. I'm confident they will make up some stories in response to my complaint. ;) Can't wait to see what she says next! Another excuse!

Ben managed to find us a flat and do all the paperwork from start to finish in 3 days. He did an amazing job for us and saved us from being homeless. He was incredibly responsive and always had time for my little questions. thank you so much for everything

Amazing experience from start to finish! The property was online within a couple of days of Zoe's initial visit, viewings were booked quickly but with consideration of our schedule - with Kim helping us at all stages of the sale too. Janene was also extremely helpful in chasing all parts of our chain to ensure we completed as fast as possible, keeping everyone up to date with the process. Ed was also really helpful and guided us through all of the paperwork, answering any questions we had with as much detail as possible to help us make the right decision for us. All in all we would definitely recommend the team at Chessington - we can't thank them enough for all of their hard work and perseverance!

From the moment Ben called me things began to get sorted. He started straight away, and has kept me informed throughout, which turned out to be a really quick process! Everything was sorted for me, I was kept up to date with the progress. It has been the most amazing experience, I can’t fault anything! If only every company had a Ben!!

Have an incredibly positive experience with the Gascoigne Pees agents and I've finally found a property management company that's actually making an effort and favours both landlords and tenants.

Upon entering, the flat wasn't in a good condition and needed cleaning and a few repairs; however they've been extremely cooperative and have arranged everything to be done, replying to my emails and sending me updates right away.

Couldn't recommend them enough.

We changed letting agents after 6 weeks as we had not been found any suitable tenants and we were always chasing for an update. We registered with Gascoign & Pees in Godalming and spoke to Simon who was encouraging and informative. Within a week we had new tenants! Simon and Ben kept us informed every step of the way and were easily contactable if we had any questions. Nothing was too much trouble. The fees were very competitive. All in all fantastic service with good old customer service at the top of the list!
