Regret my company buying this after a month. My company didn't succeed using it. A lot of missing RFPs and the data was wrong or broken links in most cases. We use 3 other services concurrently alongside this. We keep find ourselves using the other services and wishing we didn't waste our time or resource with this oversold solution. You can pretty much do better with any other bid service besides this one. And then you read the real reviews that are anything but good.

Wish I would have found this site before purchasing. Data and Rfp are all out of date and not updated. Big waste of money. Unfortunate!!!!

Up to date and timely RFP issuance and specific for the industries we work with. Having up to date RFP's and access to the overall organizational spend, coupled with our proven sales process has brought in over $400K in new business to our organization.

All about the customer service. The team efficiently helped switch a license from another member of the team, train me on the functionalities, and followed up to make sure I was comfortable. Bravo for doing exactly what they said they would do in exactly the time frame they said!

I've been really happy with the level of service and support from the Fedmine side of the GovSpend business. Leila Salim is OUTSTANDING - her research skills and familiarity with federal procurement are second to none. She's even help achieve some product enhancements based on our conversations and workflows. Highly recommend her and Fedmine.

I am extremely happy with my three-year license to use GovSpend. The offering is fantastic in providing market and client insights, contacts, lists, and new revenue opportunities. The service from our representative Kelly Weed is equally wonderful, offering web meetings to assist us in receiving the full potential of their offering. GovSpend is a hidden goldmine if you focus time and work with your rep, and I highly recommend GovSpend.

Be very careful with this company. They do an excellent job selling their platform. Once we signed up, we found the data to be lacking though. Within 60 days of singing up we tried to cancel the contract and were basically told that you signed the deal and now you have to pay, even though you aren't satisfied with the service.

My advice, don't accept just a demo. Make sure you get access to search what you want to see and not just what they want to show you and request a fully refundable 30 day cancellation period. If they're not confident enough in their service to stand behind it for 30 days, is it really something you want to invest in?

Don't make the same mistake as me. No unrestricted demo = no deal.

The founder Jack Siney is a piece of filth and a swindler. He ropes companies into contracts with false promises of prospects that don't exist and then provides nothing but dead leads.

Don't walk. RUN.

Stop! Do not sign a contract with this company. Almost every single one of these leads are already free and available via another website. They will make promises to help - but do not follow through. They are better sales people than lead generators. I would highly advise not committing to any contract. If the service is so great - get a 30 day trial. If they won't stand behind it for 30 days - then is it really that good? Customer retention is horrible for a reason.

This service isn't honest. It's not transparent about the quality of the data. It is stale, inaccurate and is just a racket to collect. I was told I could get access before paying to make sure and I was then locked into making a payment. I pleaded my case but was told over and over that I had knowingly signed. There was nothing clear about the deal. It was so unclear it was basically a scam. My Canadian Credit card didn't work (works everywhere else) and I was threatened immediately with collections. I gave them another card and the charge was put through. I eventually became enough of a complainer, they refunded. Do not give up on getting your money back.

GovSpend is an amazing system that revolutionizes government procurement process. Never seen this level of data before. Best new thing I have seen in government procurement in years. It’s a must have for us now

You can pretty much do better with any other bid service besides this one.. Many holes and bad information. In hindsight I think most of the reviews are employees or paid reviews because they sound like the same person and refer to the "tool" as "Great!" and thank them so much! And then you read the real reviews that are anything but good. We won't renew the next go around even for $500.

The data being sold to you is old and outdated. We purchased the GovSpend App under the impression that the data would be accurate and up to date, it was not. The purchase order data was just only information you can already find on search engines. Even when looking at the data, they weren't opportunities my company could win. The sales person told me I had to call and talk to the purchasing officers. Well, we tried that for a few weeks. No purchasing officers wanted to talk to us so they chance of getting any business out of it was nil. For our company, this seemed more and more like vaporware. They keep telling us that we are the ones at fault and made it seem like this was the only time this had ever happened to a customer.

On top of that, the whole process is quite offputting. They made us sign a 3 year contract, divided by six payments. After spending 5000 and realizing this was nothing we could earn a penny on, we asked to cancel. They reacted by demanding the remaining balance of $10,000. After telling them we wouldn't pay it, they sent the remaining balance to collections.

GovSpend locks you into a long contract without establishing any mechanism for you to exit the contract- but here is the secret, let them take you to court if they want because you can't force someone to pay something when you aren't providing the service promised.

I looked online and asked colleagues. There is not a single case of GovSpend taking anyone to court for not paying this cancellation fee but there are thousands of companies who have not paid them according to the collections company.

Rather you'll find that this company has had a number of lawsuits against their CEO, business practices, customer complaints, changed names at least 10 times as far as I can trace. Unfortunately, you have to spend 10 minutes digging online to find all this out. I wish I had done that before signing up.
