Lack of product knowledge and reliance on internet about own product

I purchased a 4 man pop up tent recently and could not pack it away as we could not figure out how to get it back down again. Went to the store and Amanda was so helpful. She figured it out within seconds and did it all with a smile on her face. What a credit to the company you are Amanda!

Fantastic customer service from Molly wow!
Came in today with my son looking for lots of camping stuff for our time away with absolutely no clue what I was looking for. Molly came to my saviour, swooped in and showed us all of the different things that we need, didn’t miss a step at all giving every detail and the pros and cons to everything. It was without a doubt some of the best customer service I’ve experienced, which I’m so grateful for as I would have been there all day, but she took so much of her time out for us and I will 100% be coming back to see her the next time I need anything. Thank you so much Molly!!

Kerry’s customer service was brilliant. She was incredibly friendly and chatty. Most importantly, she took real care in helping me find the perfect climbing shoe size — checking the fit properly, making sure both feet felt right, and not rushing the process at all. I left feeling confident I’d chosen the right pair thanks to her patience and expertise. Highly recommended.

I visited the MK store today, to buy walking boots for our 15-year-old son, and were lucky enough to be helped by Sara.

Sara was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole process. She took the time to understand what we needed, explained the different options available, and made sure he found a pair of boots that fitted properly and felt comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble, and her expertise gave us confidence that we were making the right choice.

Buying walking boots can be a bit overwhelming with so many options, but Sara made the experience easy and enjoyable. Excellent customer service and a real credit to the team. Thank you, Sara!

Wayne was a great help, advising in the correct kit to buy.

Very easy, no problems.

The store is fine well laid out etc.
However when I went to pay I was told English Heritage and National trust members no longer get a discount. That's fine (but a little publicity would be useful).
I asked if the Youth Hostel Association was still a partner and was also told no it isn't.
I came home and checked online and YHA, Scouts, Girl Guides, DofE, Blue lights (NHS) are all accepted in store and online.
I think your till staff need an update.

We went to the Mk branch and Luke helped us round the store to get everything we needed for my son’s kit list for his expedition to Peru. He was so helpful, he gave him great advice on which pieces of kit were best for his trip and were value for money. We would have been there for hours trying to work it all out ourselves. We really appreciated his help.

I went into the MK store to pick a new pair of hiking boots, the staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the products, they helped me make the right decision when picking my boots. I then came across Lynn, who was very friendly and advised me on different products/savings. I love shopping in that store.

Easy to navigate store, and I like the new layout ! Managed to grab just what I wanted and saved loads using my discount card ! We were served by the lovely Lynn, I’m sure I’ll be back soon :)
