fun recreational sports leagues - experience can be patchy depending on the league but overall good

Welcoming, warm and inclusive netball in a superb sports hall. Great umpires with lots of experience.

Played in rounders league this Summer. The chronic disorganisation throughout the duration of this league was awful.
Ref turned up with no equipment or the improper equipment (no balls/no posts) on three seperate occasions (out of 8 games for the season). This resulted in games all being delayed, but teams were not notified via email/text and so instead, turned up and were then sent away for 30/40 minutes. On two of the three delayed games, we were then rang by another team member who stayed at the pitch to be told that the ref had decided that our game would be starting that minute (rather than the delayed timing we were told when we showed up at the correct time) and that if we weren't there, he would be starting the game without us.
Despite our team leaving feedback after each instance of missing kit/delayed games, GoMammoth did not address the issues properly and the situation did not improve.
Additionally, the ref did not seem at all aware of the rules of the game for the first two weeks, although after complaints from participants this did improve slightly, but still not to the level that you would expect for your money.
Overall, we all felt that it was terrible value for money (having paid £7.50 per person, per game) and yet when discussing all of these issues with GoMammoth support, were not offered any sort of refund/compensation and have instead been constantly harrassed via Whatsapp, phone calls, and emails about signing up for the next season despite having told them that we would not be returning due to the issues above.

Signed up for beginner volleyball. The start date was quietly pushed back a week - I only found out by checking the site and calling myself. A week before, they emailed promising fixtures at the latest 24 hours before the first game, and a notification once I was placed on a team.
Neither happened: my profile stayed empty, no team, no fixtures, well past their own 24-hour deadline.
I emailed to flag it and got no reply, then called on the morning of the supposed start date and no one answered.
So on day one I still had no idea if it was going ahead. I get that sign-ups can be low - but setting their own deadline, missing it, and then not responding made it impossible to plan. Requesting a refund. Disappointing.

Overpriced and no quality control. They don't even provide a basketball. Games cancelled without notice, games then scheduled without notice. Referees on their phone the whole time.

They simply provide a space to play and charge you astronomical prices.

If you want to spend £15 a week to play basketball for 20 minutes, then this is the place for you!!! Just remember to bring your own ball as they don't provide one!!!

We booked a corporate sports day for our team and it was very well organised from start to finish. Despite the rain, the coordinators kept everyone engaged and in great spirits the entire time. They adapted the activities really well and the energy never dropped.

The whole team loved it and we've had nothing but positive feedback. Highly recommend!

Easy to find location, great friendly teams and staff.

A great idea for community members to come together to play sport

Good pitches, good refs, good competitive football but not over serious. Great if your like me in your late 30s and still want to play.

Great to get back into netball on a regular basis .
Go Mammoth is a great place to find all the sports and teams in a place local to you.

Fantastic friendly netball league, excellent umpires, really welcoming

It's fantastic. You can choose social or competitive. Mixed or single sex. It's friendly and fun. Plus my fitness has increased so much and I've made some new friends..

The league is very well organised, runs smoothly every week and has been such a fun way to exercise and make friends!

The Tuesday Bath league is great fun and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere!

The umpires are very supportive and nurturing (they give advice where needed and are very patient). The teams are very friendly towards each other and it has been a very positive experience.

I play Rounders with GoMammoth and haven't looked back - a great way to meet new people and have a healthy level of competition without any pressure. Played for 3 years now and counting!!!

Love playing basketball again after 20 years off!

Go Mammoth has been one of the best things I have done for myself since moving to London. Growing up, sports were really stressful and eventually became not fun for me, literally in my first game of rounders with Go Mammoth, I felt 23 years of performance anxiety leave my body. It was so fun, so relaxed, everyone is so welcoming. People were immediately inviting me to play for other sports teams or join for friendly games on other days. I forgot how much I loved playing outside. I feel overwhelming joy when I'm doing these activities, and Go Mammoth was instrumental to re-opening the playing outside door for me.
