Advised that my policy was due for renewal but as I am longer playing told them not to renew on the renewal date. This was dealt with promptly and efficiently.

Too expensive
I have been with Golf Care for many years. This year their premium was double every other quote I received for exactly the same coverage. When I phoned to cancel they reduced the premium by 33% which they should have done to start with. All the other quotes were with the exact same ultimate insurer AXA .

I appreciate your concerns regarding the renewal premium you received this year. The price quoted at renewal reflected our standard renewal terms. When you first joined us, you benefited from an introductory discount offered by our underwriters to new customers. This type of discount is common across the insurance industry and, unfortunately, is not available on renewal policies.
As you noted, we were able to review the premium when you contacted us. We do have some flexibility to reassess pricing and, where possible, offer discounts to customers who are unhappy with their renewal premium or who may be experiencing financial pressures. We recognise that times can be challenging, and we always try to help where we can.
Many of the alternative quotes available in the market include introductory offers for new customers, which can make them appear significantly cheaper than renewal premiums. We completely understand why customers compare their options at renewal and may decide that another provider offers better value for their circumstances.
While our pricing will not be the right fit for everyone, we are grateful for the time you have spent with us and for the opportunity to have provided your insurance cover over the years. We wish you all the very best moving forward, and thank you again for your custom.
