The above company replaced my old flooring in my flat with a beautiful new hard wood flooring they also done the skirtings and door frames a top notch job was done and not a bit of mess was left.

Two weeks prior to this the replaced the slating in my drying area with upvc and a window at the top this now gives me an excellent storage area for my tumble dryer and large freezer.

We had Golden Oaks out to build a garden fence this was done to our specification, completed on time and they cleaned up after. Our garden looks great now and we will definitely use again would not hesitate to recommend

I recently hired Golden Oak All Trades Ltd (Stephen) to build a custom kitchen cabinet, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Stephen came today to fix some door handles and kitchen cupboards. It wasn’t a big job but he took time out of his busy schedule to call in and fix them for me. He refused payment and asked that I put on a review instead, Which I’m more than happy to do. Very helpful as always. I’ve used him before and he’s my go to now. Highly recommended

We employed Golden Oak All Trades to complete replacement Decking and Fencing of our existing 15 year + wooden deck and fence which were seriously deteriorating with a Composite version. Their quote was comparable with some others we received and we decided to opt for them. After initial issues with delivery problems with the suppliers Stephen along with Martin and the 2 apprentices Cael and Lewis proceeded to demolish and remove the old deck/fence quite quickly. Over a period of days the fences either side were erected efficiently during inclement weather only to follow with storm Amy which was a test for the fences which survived 60 miles + wind gusts. Thereafter the substructure of joists , posts ,postcreting , laying of weed membrane and covering top of joists with DPC weatherproofing
finally covered with the Composite decking. We were very happy with the completed work on 9Oct2025 which we consider a very professional job and would thoroughly recommend Stephen and his team

Stephen and his team supplied and fitted my LVT flooring. What a job they did, I’m delighted with it. Very professional and tidy, and the job done to a very high standard. I have a few other jobs needing done, and will be using Stephen again. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Went out of their way to come out between jobs to help me out with a front door that wouldn’t close properly or lock. Easy to contact and really helpful. I’d definitely recommend them.

Just had Stephen and his apprentices to do more work at my house.
Took away my old metal garden gate which turned out to be a hell of a tough job getting the posts out, the new wooden gate is excellent we're very happy with it.
He also fitted a new garage door at the same time again done to his high standards.

Last month they fitted new laminate flooring & skirting in my living and dining room another top job.

Last year Stephen refurbished my kitchen, with new doors flooring and wet wall panels with the electrician doing all the new sockets to modernise it, another superb job done.

I wouldn't get anyone else to do any refurb jobs, his work is excellent with very reasonable prices and always high quality work guaranteed.

We had Stephen at our house to dismantle our old wood decking and replace it with composite decking. At the start we thought the frame would be ok but after quite a time trying to fix the old frame we decided to just go ahead and replace the whole thing which didn’t phase Stephen at all and I have to say Stephen is an absolute craftsman and he spends a lot of time making sure everything is just right, good is not good enough it has to be perfect and it is. We are really happy with the finished product and will spend many happy summer days on the new masterpiece.

Stephen arrived when he said he would and did a great job fitting doors with some specific requirements. Doors fitted to a very high standard, was able to problem solve, tidied up after himself and doors look great!

I recently had stephen do my wetwalls shower and radiator in my bathroom I'm absolutely delighted with the results.He provided a brilliant service he's a really hardworkingperson and nothing was to much trouble for him I'm also really happy with the quality of the finish i would highly recommend him and his work 10/10

Had kitchen ceiling replaced and new lights fitted. Stephen and his team did a great job, definitely highly recommended.

Just had fencing repaired following the storm last month. Stephen replaced fencing panels, rebuilt fencing blown down and replaced loose posts. Tremendous work including challenge to remove old postcrete from broken posts - determined to remove and succeeded! Oh, and repaired large double gate! Very pleased and his number definitely saved for any future work

Stephen came during a busy Christmas period while being ill rather than let me down. He fitted my chevron floor and skirting boards in my hall and living room. The fit and finish was exceptional, managing to get all those 45 degree angles to meet perfectly. Highly recommend, takes time to makes sure you're happy and clears up well too.

Thanks to Stephen for his hard work installing 11 internal doors. They look fab and we are delighted by the work and craftmanship. Stephen has done a few jobs for us and we have always been more than pleased with the standards.
