Once again, my wife and I booked Globe Taxis for our transfers to and from Manchester airport, and once again we were delighted with the service. My wife is a wheelchair user, which meant that along with our luggage, we also needed her wheelchair, which whilst it does fold, still takes up extra space in the taxi, and so we booked an extra large vehicle to accommodate everything. The vehicles arrived on time at both ends, and were large enough to fit everything in.
The cars were clean and tidy and the drivers were helpful pleasant and professional.
We don't often use taxis, but when we do, we will only use Globe, who don't, and won't, let you down.

Junior was friendly and a very good driver.

I made an online booking 2 days prior to required jourbey, confirming pick up from my house and onward journey destination for a fee of £44. App screen very similar to uber. The night before planned journey,i received a phone call from Globe, informing me of price hike to £60 in order to cover cost of their journey from their start point to my house.. less than 12 hrs before journey leaving little time to make alternative arrangements. Unnacceptable.. 33% price hike. Avoid avoid
