I can’t thank Karen, Lewis and Lucy at Gilbert & Rose enough for how smoothly they handled the sale of my flat. Karen was an absolute star — always on hand with updates and quick to respond to every question I had. Lewis showed me around the flat numerous times, patiently answering all my questions, and took the lead in negotiating the price, with Lucy also helping along the way. The whole team went above and beyond and took much of the worry out of what is usually a stressful process. A well-deserved 5-star rating and couldn’t recommend Gilbert & Rose highly enough!

In summary, our experience with G&R has been absolutely faultless from start to finish. They have been professional, friendly and efficient every step of the way!
Sam initially came over to value our property and I was absolutely blown away by the care and time he took to sit down and explain how they would market the property and how their fees worked. He really helped G&R stand out amongst the other estate agents that valued our property.
Tara then took care of the viewings of our property, which I personally prefer the EA to do. She was also brilliant and didn't keep us waiting long before managing to get us an amazing offer on our property.
Karen was then assigned as our sales progressor and she has been nothing short of perfect! She has been in constant contact, responsive and incredibly helpful. It really felt like she went above and beyond for us!
Overall, my experience with G&R has been incredible and I would (& have) recommend them to anyone!

We’ve moved five times in 30 years, and I can honestly say Gilbert and Rose were the best we've ever dealt with. From starting out in April 2026 with Curtis Holder to exchanging contracts today, the whole team was a huge help. We bought a new build, and Lewis Kirk was so friendly, approachable, and always happy to help. Karen Summers is an absolute star. Honestly, without her help along the way, I would’ve completely lost it a few times. She was chasing up solicitors, keeping us updated every day, and really put my mind at ease. She was amazing. We had been on with another local agent who gave high hopes of pricing and expectation of viewer levels who unfortunately over promised so after being on for nearly 2 weeks we then switched to G&R. Lewis came round and was really personable, not salesy at all and was actually brutally honest which was refreshing as house selling should be this way as the market determines the price, not the seller or estate agent so was good to have a real idea as to what to expect. Once the house was on it sold fairly quick and Karen was introduced to progress what started as a simple sale and move however turned into a bit of a chaotic process. Karen responded super quick, always had time for us and is not to be underestimated at all - complete superstar and well deserving of praise to management. Thanks again everyone really appreciative of all the hard work and ease of sale.

We first met Brennan when we viewed a property in February, and from that very first meeting, we instantly felt that he was someone we would trust to handle the sale of our own home.

Although Gilbert & Rose are not based in our area, we decided to move away from the established local agents in Hutton and Shenfield and place our property in Brennan’s hands. It was absolutely the right decision.

We genuinely could not have asked for more from an estate agent. Throughout the entire sales process, Brennan was always available, not only to provide regular updates, but also to offer honest advice and reassurance.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the process became quite stressful at times. Brennan remained calm throughout and was always a much-needed voice of reason.

We recently sold our house through Gilbert & Rose, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish.

We initially chose Gilbert & Rose because we'd noticed they'd successfully sold several houses on our road, which seemed like a very good sign. After using their online valuation tool, I received a call from the office shortly afterwards to arrange a home visit.

Ross came out to value our property and immediately made a great impression. He was friendly, professional, and even took the time to make a fuss of our dog! He was very complimentary about our home but, more importantly, realistic with his valuation. Rather than simply suggesting an inflated asking price, he explained his reasoning using the sale prices of comparable local properties, which he showed us on his tablet. That gave us real confidence in his advice.

After that meeting, we decided to instruct Gilbert & Rose. A few days later, their photographer visited to prepare the marketing. He was professional, worked efficiently, and produced excellent photographs, including drone shots, which really showcased the property.

Ross then organised an open house on a Saturday afternoon, arranging seven viewings back-to-back. By the end of the day, we had several offers to consider. Ross was incredibly helpful in explaining the different buyers' positions and helping us make an informed decision. I believe the property was priced exactly right, and we achieved a sale price that we were very happy with.

Once the sale had been agreed, we dealt primarily with Charlene through to completion. She was always responsive to emails, kept us updated throughout the process, and I honestly can't remember ever having to chase her for a reply.

Overall, I would highly recommend Gilbert & Rose to anyone looking to sell their home. Their professionalism, communication, and local knowledge made what can often be a stressful process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
