I have been a GiG logistics customer for over 4 years and can’t believe the recent direction in which the company has allowed it’s untrained staff in Nigeria take the company to. My package sent from Houston which was intended for my son’s birthday on Sunday the 24th of august. The package Arrived in Abuja by Friday 22nd according to the online tracking, I called that Friday and was told that my package would be with me on Saturday the 23rd of August. On Saturday I decided to follow up, and the lady who picked up the phone was terribly rude and told me to send someone to pickup the package as they could not deliver it till Monday! Bear in mind my shipping bill was over $2000. I wrote an email pleading that these items were required for the next day and something should please be done. Nothing was done. I was unable to hire a van to pick up the package so my son’s birthday had to go on without the items. Fast forward to Monday I had to take the day off work in order to receive the package and upon calling to follow up with the package and enquire about the delivery the phone was hung up on me several times, finally a young man answered and promised to follow up after waiting a few hours and no one getting back to me I called back only for another young man to answer and tell me I won’t be getting the package till Wednesday as it is too heavy to be sent by a bike man?!?! And he then proceeded to hang up the phone on me mid conversation! I am so confused and appalled, so am I expected to miss work again to receive this package? Why was I told it would be delivered on Saturday? Then Monday? Now Wednesday? Does my time not mean anything to Gig? Why am I being asked to pay another logistics service to pick up my package after paying for door to door delivery? Why are the staff in Nigeria unnecessarily rude and untrained in customer service? This would be the very last time I would be using your services unless something is really done about this rudeness and attitude of your staff and your inability to deliver people’s packages in a timely manner.
Big company zero customer support 🤦🏾♂️.. More than a month no reachable contact, was even happy to find a WhatsApp line, it's same thing, no response, too many bugs on website too. It's a shame
VERY TERRIBLE COMPANY. VFS GLOBAL FORCE THEM ON PEOPLE TO USE FOR PASSPORTS DELIVERY. THEY ARE TERRIBLE DON'T USE THEM.
My experience with Gig Logistics was very disappointing. Not only was my delivery delayed, but they also failed to update the tracking information on the waybill until the item had already arrived in my state. This lack of transparency made it impossible to track my package and caused unnecessary anxiety. When I reached out for assistance, customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. For the price I paid, I expected much better service and communication. I would not recommend Gig Logistics based on this frustrating experience.
Seamless experience for very affordable price
I sent them a package to deliver to Nigeria for my family. Because they said they are Nigerian logistics service. The package has been with them since on the 22nd of October but they refused to send it to my family in Nigeria. I already paid them but they kept giving me excuses!!! I’m in another state, so I told them that if they don’t want to send it to Nigeria, they should send it back to me. But they never responded!!! They stopped replying to me. My package has been stucked with them for more than a month now. They didn’t even acknowledge all my communications. I am frustrated!!!! I wish I had checked their reviews on google, I wouldn’t have used them. Before I gave them the package, they were replying to my text very fast, they told me they were the best, and it will be delivered to Nigeria quickly. But after I gave them the package they cut all communications. I don’t know what to do, the package is worth ~$2000. Please!!!! Don’t use them!!! This is a scam company, you won’t get your package delivered. You can check their reviews on google, so many people have complained that they stole their money and package!!! I wish I checked their reviews earlier.
