Sent my order out with onions after I specifically asked for no onions, I called the restaurant and was put on hold for 16 minutes then told me nothing they could do about it!
Disgusting service, Disgusting way of treating a customer and binned food that cost over £20! Will never use this place again and I advise others not too

The issue that I have experienced was: On 19/12/25 I made an order on Uber Eats from the Bexleyheath branch, there was an offer where you could get 2 boss boxes for 20% off.

Please see below of what I ordered and what I got.

Box 1 - was supposed to be the veggie kebab with no tomatoes, garlic or spicy sauce. Extra onions, lettuce and cabbage however, I received MIXED MEAT KEBAB.

Box 2 - was supposed to be Mixed Meat Kebab with extra lettuce and red cabbage. I received a VEGGIE KEBAB.

The food that I ordered is a serious violation of a dietary requirement, which is a serious health/safety concern. I ordered a veggie meal for dietary/vegetarian reasons and received meat instead which makes the food entirely unusable and unacceptable.

My husbands mixed donor kebab which was the veggie meat had the spicy and garlic sauce with it and tomatoes so we were unable to swap.

Uber Eats has given me a refund of 53p through an automatic bot chat. I have been unable to get through a live representative who can help with this issue and I have been trying since yesterday.

I am simply requesting a full refund. If I do not get this refund, I will have to escalate this matter, as it is a serious violation of a dietary requirement.

I contacted the Bexleyheath branch yesterday at 19:33 pm shortly after the food arrived and I was told by the manager that they wouldn't have made that mistake however I have proof of the issue (photos attached). I was also told to email the branch, the email bounced back as the email was not recognised. I called the branch back and I was told that it is the correct email.

It occurred on: 19/12/2025

This meant that I am pregnant and I waited for about an hour until the food arrived and I am disgusted by the response received by GDK branch at Bexleyheath as well as Uber Eats. When I spoke to the branch manager, being told that they couldn't have made that mistake and that they often hear about the veggie meat being mistaken for real meat however I know for a fact that the veggie meal was the mixed donor meat and the mixed donor meat was in fact the veggie meal. We couldn't swap as we asked for different things within our orders.

I am requesting a full refund.

Food is excellent. Great costumer service, and must-try spot!! Will come again.

This is the worst food ive ever orderd on uber eats. Chicken was dry and was about 4 days old no sauce. Short of a spring roll . The food that did come was disgusting advise never to order GDK edinburgh not sure it was even chicken

Cold chips arrived. Then the quesadilla came covered in the sauces usually provided on the side. I do not want white sauces so this rendered my meal inedible. Asked the man behind the till who made us order and pay for another meal, whilst smirking, despite the first one being covered in horrible sauce I never ordered. Waste of money and food. Menu confusing and integrated with so much waffle about being put into a draw to win something that it was unclear what the meal actually contained. Menu also kept timing out so you couldn't actually read anything. Happened in Hempstead Branch.

Worst take away I have ever had. I had a doner wrap box meal and a Dorito burger delivery, although it arrived in good time the wrap was all cold and sloppy and greasy to the point I didn’t even have to chew. The burger was worse all disformed and sloppy almost had a slime coating to it all over and I have felt sick ever since having it. I usually love GDK but since moving to Plymouth and trying it from here I am put off kebabs altogether for life! 🤢

Ordered on just eat, waited two and a half hours then they cancelled the order, by then it was too late to order from elsewhere.. if you can't fulfil the order,don't accept it.

Ordered off Deliveroo 1st of December got the doner box and fries with salad and been sick with food poisoning could taste that the yogurt that I put on my food was not fresh and had a weird taste to it I did write to Deliveroo about it but they could not do anything about it

Absolutely awful experience ordering from German Doner Kebab – Edgware Road on Just Eat. Completely ruined the meal. It was so spicy it was impossible to eat. If they can’t even follow basic order instructions, what’s the point? Total waste of money. Won’t be ordering from here again.

I love the food, and Angelo did a great job with the service. I will be back, definitely recommend it❤️

GDK Bridgwater, absolutely awful first and definitely last experience. The restaurant obviously are not capable of checking the orders before being sent out. Combine that with poor customer service and poor language skills I was left wondering why I even bothered in the first place. All I can say is never ever again!!

We used just eat wait two hours to find that nobody could deliver our food absolute rubbish service but we did receive a full refund

Staff at the lakeside gdk are so slow. Food was okay but customer service could be better.

Southall gdk very bad experience , kebab with hardly any meat

This was an amazing experience. Me and my dad really really enjoy this. The meat is really good with hygiene and this is the best place I have eaten in.

Tday I went to gdk in O2 arena firstly the proportion has decreased and secondly the salad in the rice doner box which I ordered smelt spoiled which I had to remove
