Excellent service and first impressions
We called into the site office at Derwent Rise, Seaton without an appointment. This was no problem, the sales representative, Lou, was so accommodating. She was so welcoming and went above and beyond to help us. She listened well to our requirements and then arranged for us to view properties of interest. Lou answered all our questions and was very patient with us. We were so impressed with what we saw and with how we were dealt with. Just a matter of choosing the right plot now!

I had an appointment with Louise recently to discuss a property i had seen online. The property i was interested in would not have been suitable for me however she showed me other options, two of which i am definately interested in. She was extremlely helpful, anwsered all my questions and i asked alot. Nothing was too much trouble. I was passing through Seaton, so thought id just drop in to the temporary office and get some information about the site etc. I never had an appointment booked in advance, but Lou was very welcoming and made time for me. She was very informative and helped me with my concerns. I came out feeling really pleased id called by. Thank you Lou, you are a star 🌟

Fantastic experience
I have had a fantastic experience throughout my house purchase at Derwent Rise, with a special mention to Lou. She is incredibly friendly, approachable, and has made the whole process feel much less stressful. Communication is excellent — she responds quickly, keeps me well-informed with regular updates, and is always happy to answer any questions I have. Nothing ever feels like it’s too much trouble. My experience over the last 15 years.
Since composing my review I have reviewed an email from Trustpulot asking for more information and verification that my review is based on my own experience before it can can reciwve a response. I have had my review and experience confirmed by their bare faced lack of accountability and precept of it's contents . They know DAMNED WELL that my review and it's contents are factual and blatantly demonstrable. All ANYONE has to do is look at the way GREEDY, IGNORANT, IRRESPONSIBLE money grabbing developers are DECIMATING GREEN BELT SITES WITH TOTAL DISREGARD to anything except their own selfish monetary ends. My experience ??? The "Olive Green View" development in Halton is a total oxymoron. I DID have a "Green View", with trees, sheep and cows sprawled for as far as the eye could see. Now all I've got is a great big carbuncle of a housing estate, a WHITE MONSTROSITY of a housing development, ffs, in my once beautiful, idyllic vista. Needless to say my "Forever" retirement bungalow is now up for sale. GREEN BELT LAND SHOULD NEVER BE BUILT ON !!! There are plenty of brown belt sites in the middle and edges of big towns and cities to bolt these new homes to. LEAVE GREEN BELT HAMLETS AND VILLAGES ALONE. Build these development at the end of the city dweller planning applications officers road. NOT MINE.

Your review does not relate to the purchase of a Genesis home or our customer service, but rather to your objection to the principle and visual impact of the Olive Green View development.
The development has progressed through the appropriate planning process and we remain committed to delivering the homes and wider development in accordance with the permissions and requirements applying to the site, while seeking to be a considerate neighbour to the existing community.
The works on the development are now largely complete, subject to final road remedials and surfacing.

Work experience project, Kendal
We recently engaged in a work experience project with Lauren and the team at Genesis Home. they created a bespoke work experience day for the students which was a huge success on all parts.
The students were inspired and went away feeling more prepared for their next steps in their careers.

Quote from your method statement for Derwent Rise Seaton 'it is not anticipated that the works will generate excessive dust ' well every existing resident close to the site during the 2 months of dry weather earlier this year experienced excessive amounts of dust in their homes, cars and on their washing because you made no attempt to dampen down areas with water suppression! No sprinklers or hoses were used to dampen exposed soil. No windbreak netting was used on site to suppress dust.
All of the above measures are mandatory in your Construction Method Statement and none of these were implemented. You are also causing flooding issues to properties next to the Derwent Rise site and you are ignoring all requests from residents to resolve this major issue. Once again you do not have the community in mind and in my opinion are negligent in your methods.
