GB Foam Recenzje 

Our cheap Ikea Parup 3-seater had worn out after a couple of years but we didn't want to completely replace it. Cut-to-size foam was a great solution!

We went for the High Density Luxury Firm sofa foam (as this was recommended for the shallow 4-inch height of our base cushions) and with the recommended extras, it was under £115 to replace the two seat cushions, delivered to the door on our nominated day. They arrived during the time slot the courier gave us and there was an option to reschedule if we weren't in.

Packaging was solid, product arrived in perfect condition. The box was comically large for the product but suspect that's because boxes that could accommodate the length of our cushions are bigger in all directions, so that issue probably can't be helped.

Crucially... The shape and fit were spot on!!! Covers are perfectly filled and plump. The comfort is extremely solid and firm, even for someone who is very used to and prefers firm support. I think if you are on that 4inch seat-cushion-height cut off, you'd probably be fine with the medium-firm as the firm is VERY firm, bordering on "hard" (although not uncomfortable). I guess we will see how it feels if it softens over time as described online.

So if it's all been great, why only 4 stars? Perhaps not fair I'll admit.... further research on the website since the cushions' arrival shows me the following info was around all along and I just never saw or read it... But the newly cut foam that's been sized to spec has a really strong petro-chemical smell that my brain seems to process as "mould" smell. My other half can only just smell it, says it smells mildly chemically but doesn't bother him. I'm more sensitive and can smell it the second I step in the house, then strongly on us and our clothes as soon as we've sat on the sofa.

This is completely normal for new foam (look up "off-gasing") and we expect it to pass in a few weeks - I've been airing it by the wide open windows to help. However if I'd known about it in advance, I would have got my skates on and ordered a month or 2 before christmas, rather than 2 weeks before, and risk any other sensitive noses like mine noticing it over the food smells on the big day!

Overall, happy with the product, has been exactly as described and delivered at specified time without any fuss. Our sofa hasn't looked this good since it was freshly built out the flat pack! Would defo use GB foam again for similar projects.

EDIT: Company reached out and refunded the delivery charge despite DPD being at fault. I have, therefore, changed my rating to reflect this, as I appreciate the genuine attempt to resolve the issue.

Positives first. The ordering process was pretty straightforward and despatch was quick. Foam is good quality - there is a very strong chemical smell but I’m pretty sure that will fade with time.

The reason I have only given 3 stars is because of the delivery process. I paid £10 for delivery - which seems a heck of a lot for 2 pieces of foam. However, I was willing to overlook this, only for the courier (DPD) to ring my doorbell, then leave the box on my doorstep in torrential rain without checking whether anyone was in the house. If this had been delivered 10 minutes later, there would have been no-one in and it would have sat on the doorstep for hours getting soaked through. To charge £10 and then use a courier that frankly doesn’t give a flying fig is a bit cheeky. For that reason, I am afraid I would think twice about using GB Foam again.

Ordered my foam cut to size and shape it is an exact fit for my settee very pleased with my rejuvenated cushions. Well priced and top quality and fast delivery.

The service is the best I have seen. Great customer service and called at 11am for delivery and 4 hours later. What an amazing experience service and product. I highly recommend 6 stars!!!

Really awful if you have a problem with your order. Obnoxious staff who don't listen and full of themselves.I would avoid this company altogether. Might be one member of staff seeing there are more one star reviews. Solved it myself and blunted three kitchen knives in the process!!Hah

Our sofa was too good to bin, but the base cushions were lifeless. I measured the cushion covers. When I ordered the foam, I ordered the extras that GB Foam recommended too. They have a wadding, plus wrapped in a mesh too, for ease of inserting them in the cover.
Brilliant, really pleased. This will give our sofa a new lease of life!

Ease of ordering and clear communication through the webchat for what I needed. Foam is exactly what was required for the booth seat being made. Won't hesitate to use again and recommend to family and friends.

A phone call to ask about what sort of foam I would need to sizes they were very helpful,delivery was great as well, I would definitely use this company again.

We bought pre loved hand made wooden beds. Unfortunately conventional mattresses were too short and custom made ones too expensive. We ordered foam fill ins which arrived very quickly, were exactly the right size and firm enough to support the gap. They solved our fitting problem at a fraction of the price. Great job.

We ordered two foam blocks to go on our sofa. The staff were very helpful in helping us choose the right density, and the blocks are a perfect fit and are very comfortable. A great buy.

Precisely cut and prepared, it was easy to replace an old, but gorgeous armchair's worn out feather cushion. The result is amazing, really comfy and firm, fits perfectly into the cover.

The initial service was good as the product was delivered promptly and the price was slightly cheaper than its competitor. However the cut foam I received was much harder than I expected and 0% in sponginess, as such I couldn't squeeze it into the cushion cover at all, hence I sent it back to GB foam.

Upon receipt they advised they could not refund but recut the foam for me at a £10 charge, this is when the service turned bad - they started to completely ignore me when I emailed them and followed up twice on the new measurements for the recut service.

With them lacking any response now, it is essentially costing me the price of the foam and return postage of over £50! So reconsider if you want to order from them if you haven't had their foam products before and aren't exactly confident if the measurements are 100% accurate.

Upon receiving my review here, the customer service team reached out and promptly sent out the replacement foams. Their actions are much appreciated.

Superb guidance and attention from Sophia at GB Foam Direct, particularly as she understood I was wary of getting my order wrong through self sizing and being unfamiliar with their products.
Sophia patiently took me through existing dimension measuring and what appearance I was looking for and a recommendation of product, which gave me a lot of confidence in her and GB Foam Direct.

I placed my order and unbelievably - I received my products within 24 hours!

The cushions are a super fit, very comfy and have revitalised our suite - Sincere thanks to Sophia and all GB colleagues involved.

Brilliant value, quality and quick delivery.
Their website is very easy to use and helpful when measuring. I have used them before and will definitely use them again if I need more foam cutting. A*

I have a delivery report for the second email i sent on 19th. When i sent it again yesterday you responded saying you had replied yet now you say you never got it!!! Make your mind up! Your lies and customer service have been appalling. I have now found an amazing company to provide what I need

This company have lied through their teeth in their response. After Lauren asked if i could call her on 19th I replied with more photographs and questions. when I chased up on 26th for a response she said she had sent one and asked to call!!! I didn't believe it so asked her to forward that email to me as proof and didn't hear anything else from her. Clearly she had lied because your response says Lauren never heard back from me on 19th yet she said yesterday that she had replied to the second email!!!!

Don't waste your time with this company. Got one email from them a week ago, I emailed back asking for some info/advice and never heard back. Emailed again this morning and got short response saying they replied (which they didn't) and to speak on phone to them- replied saying can't do that during working hours and could they forward in the email they allegedly sent a week ago and heard nothing since! Absolute waste of time company!

Superb customer service from John and Sophia!! I had urgent need of leg rests due to a serious knee injury. The team made sure I had leg supports before the weekend even though I had missed their deadline. Thank you so much!!

Ordered a piece of 4" thick firm upholstery foam to make a bed for our new puppy, as it was much cheaper and better quality than buying one. Very impressed with the quality and puppy very happy. Delivery was very quick. Will buy more.

GB Foam - arrived home from hospital to find the easy chair I had used for a long time was not practical to get in and out of. Realised I needed extra shaped cushions to allow ease of accessSent GB Foam a diagram of what was required the foam cushions arrived by return for a very reasonable price. Very courteous service with a very fair price, I was very pleased.

I ordered and paid for the foam that I needed, 6 pieces in total.
2 out of the 6 pieces were not the correct thickness that I paid for.
I have emailed the company 2 times with photographic evidence but to no avail.
Nobody has got back to me about my issue.

Really quick service and they arrived the next day! My sofas were awful but replacing the seat cushions has transformed them. Great value for money too
