Exactly what we ordered fast service made to the exact measurements.

Thank you for supplying 2 excellent skylight blinds. I am delighted with the result and thank you to the gentleman who guided me easily through the setting up and installation . One small point of criticism though. There are no instructions specific to skylight blinds installation. An explanatory sheet with simple instructions would be helpful. Great product though. A bad and costly experience with Gallery Blinds not taking any reponsibility for their misleading information in the Measuring Guide on their Web site!

I received the blinds and found that having followed the Measuring Guide exactly the blinds were the wrong size. The width of the blind material was narrower than the measurements I gave! The title of the instructions is to Fit Exact, and it instructs me to,not adjust your measurements to allow for fittings, and to measure the width of your blind by measuring from left to right of where you'd like your blind to be. The purpose of a blind is to cover a window, so the first task of any measuring activity is to determine the size of fabric required for that purpose. To me when I am asked to measure the width and length of where I would like my blind to be I am being asked to measure the fabric width and depth.

I was told by Customer Service there is a statement elsewhere on the website that states that I should allow for the fittings, and there is an option to declare measurements as fabric width, but neither of these facts are included in the Measuring Guide. In fact I believe they are contradicted. I would expect a Measuring Guide to include all essential information in the one place, and as they do not I consider them, not fit for purpose.

I was told that Gallery Blinds cannot be responsible for incorrect measurements, but I do not see this as a tenable position if their instructions are not correct. I gave them the correct measurements as per their measuring guide. Their was no indication in the Measuruing Guide that the blind material would be narrower than my measurements.I was also told that Gallery Blinds have a help line if there is doubt about the instructions, but I did not see any doubt in their instructions in the Measuring Guide on their Web site. The instructions in the Measuring Guide seemed quite clear that I should measure the size of the blind I needed to cover my window and not adjust my measurements for fittings.

I therefore believe I should have a claim for a refund or the blinds replaced free of charge. However no refund or replacement blinds are forthcoming. Not even an offer to re-make the blinds at cost.

I also advised Gallery Blinds that the Measuring Guide be revised to make sure that all references to measuring are in one place on the Web site.

The blind is excellent, delivered very quickly even with regular shipping - just what we wanted. Samples had also arrived promptly and a later call to ascertain delivery date was handled politely and accurately. Just a glance at the packaging confirmed our money had not been wasted.
Two comments for possible improvement:
* The control cord could have been a bit longer, it looks easy to shorten if necessary.
* The special screw that clamps the cord safety guide together needs to be very short and was difficult to source. Perhaps one could be included with the kit?
Gallery Blinds will be top of the list when we look for our next blind as we are so pleased with them.

The staff were very helpful when I had a problem with measuring in cm. I ordered 3 roller blinds and within 2 days they were delivered. Easy to put up but could not understand why no screws were included. But saying that I am very pleased with the blinds. I have bought from this company before and would not hesitate to recommend anyone to use them.

Our blinds were made to measure for a new bathroom which was in the process of being done. They arrived very promptly and in time for the builders to fit them for us. They look lovely and we are extremely pleased with the quality. We highly recommend anybody to buy from this company.

Just moved flat and made my second order from GalleryBlinds.co.uk. Was a Panel blind with 2 seperate fabrics. Quality was excellent and the blind was so easy to hang. Love the step by step online guides. Was hoping I could upload pictures but I cant :D

I am investigating waterproof blinds for my bathroom. I was very happy to be able to order samples in the correct colour to see whether they were suitable, rather than being disappointed if they were not to my liking. I will definitely consider the company when it comes to ordering the final product as I have been very happy with the service so far!

The young lady who gave advice and took my order was extremely nice and helpful. I don't think this is in any way her fault. It is not the experience but the product that is disappointing. Having gone to great lengths to specify the measurements for the blind I was very disappointed to find that it was 4 cms too short in length. I spent ages investigating whether it would be possible to increase the drop without success. I found that the cord within the plastic 'stop' piece had been cut off and knotted to a precise length (which was wrong) and there was no scope for lengthening it. The original knot won't allow the blind to drop further. As the total cost of this one blind including delivery was £100.19 (for a specified width of 95cms x 1220cms) it is very disappointing. Also the loop of cord hanging down at the side of the blind looks odd. This aspect of it is not well designed.

ordered on line as i wanted a blind for my new bathroom fairly quickly. was abit nervous about this as had to measure for it myself and didnt get a colour sample. i wanted magnolia so wasnt too worried.A leading company had quoted a blind for me at over double the price and i would have had to wait over 2 weeks for it.
took the plunge and waited 5 days. it arrived well packaged and on time. my husband fitted it fairly easily and we are really pleased with it. it is good quality a lovely colour and has been admired by all who have viewed our bathroom!
i would have no hesitation using Gallery Blinds again or recommending it to my family and friends.

Always unsure ordering first time from a company but there was absolutly no need to have worried. The service was fantastic from ordering the samples, to talking on the phone with the adviser and finally ordering online. The blinds arrived earlier than predicted and were very easy to fit with good metal brackets. They finished off the redecorated kitchen perfectly. I would have no hesitation in using this company again.

The blinds come well packaged and arrive very quickly after ordering. Fitting instructions are not provided in the packaging but the online guide explains all and once you get one up the rest are a doddle. When ordering follow the online fitting guide and Gallery blinds do the rest allowing for tolerances to enable the blinds to fit perfectly. Make sure you get your measurements right as Gallery Blinds will follow your measurements to the letter.

The fittings themselves are quality metal and not he usual cheap and nasties that come with other inferior makes of blind.
