Horrible reliability and build quality

Horrible reliability and build quality, machine starting flaking via the boiler. I learned this was a known defect, yet the company failed to resolve the issue and ended ghosting me.

I waited months over months for a new boiler to arrive, then after repair the machine came PACKED with new issues - leakage and others. Company basically said “your problem” and left me to cope on my own.

Such a disappointment. Please, stay away from them and buy a more serious brand! Never a Gaggia!

Braccetto porta filtro in plastica

Ho acquistato il mod. EG2109 a fine gennaio, dopo solo QUATTRO settimane la rottura del portafiltro che è in PLASTICA.Macchina inutilizzata fino all'acquisto di un NUOVO portafiltro in METALLO pagato intorno ai 50 Euro. Non è concepibile che una ditta come Gaggia si fidi di far fare attrezzi molto usati un PLASTICA.Ho fatto un ottimo acquisto : NON CREDO.

Da anni uso macchina da caffè GAGGIA VIVA DELUX ..ottima!! Ora è arrivata alla fine e qui il disastro..ne sul sito Gaggia ne sull web si trova o si riesce a comprare..allora telefono slla Gaggia risponde in un italiano impacciato una signora..alla domanda e in produzione o quale modello la sostituisce.. mi dice andiamo insieme a vedere catalogo..cioè ne sapeva zero.. non capisco tutto sto problema di comunicazione..neppure un imail dove scrivere ..DELUSIONE TOTALE!!

Perde acqua appena comprata, assistenza pessima, soldi buttati

Compro per la prima volta un anno e mezzo fa, dopo 6 mesi perde acqua dal porta filtro, la porto in assistenza dove dopo una settimana, quasi stizziti, mi dicono che era colpa mia che non ho pulito la ghiera in metallo (usando le cialde? Io pulisco il porta filtro dopo ogni utilizzo ma la ghiera mi è nuova) (?). La macchina continua a perdere acqua mentre eroga caffè nonostante decalcificazione. Il caffè viene brodo, assistenza pessima. 120€ buttati.

Dopo tanti anni ho deciso di scriveri riguardo la vostra Macchina Gaggia Platinum Plus Bella Macchina ma il caffè ( Caffè ? brodo ) l'ho acquistata sono andato per centri gaggia risultato ? non hanno potuto fare nulla la macina è quella la temperatura idem quindi la uso per scaldare il brodo benché ho acquistato diversi tipi di caffè delle migliori marche esce sempre brodo ma l'avete testara prima di vendere questa bella ( solo bella) macchina?

Binnen 2 jaar lekte de Gaggia veel water. Geen garantie werd gegeven want na mijn vakantie was ik 10 dagen te laat... In Nederland kun je nergens terecht dus zoals ik ook in de reviews lees is Gaggia een waardeloos merk en koffiemachine!!

ADVIES: nooit kopen deze slechte koffieapparaten.

Caffè truffa..non 100% arabica

Ho acquistato il caffè 100% arabica Gaggia su Amazon.

Per fortuna ho una buona conoscenza del caffè avendo avuto una torrefazione di mia proprietà…quello che mi sono ritrovato è come minimo un quantitativo di 60% di varietà robusta, il che rende il prodotto una vera e propria truffa commerciale.
Molto grave…segnalerò all’Autorità Garante Della Concorrenza e Del Mercato.

Outstanding customer service

I joined online chat for Gaggia. Following a descale my machine would only deliver water out of the brew head for two seconds. I knew it wasn't a blockage as I had just cleaned the machine.
Katie B joined the chat within a minute and sent me a Zoom link. I had a chat with her on Zoom and she said she would find me an engineer if I logged in in 10 minutes. I logged back into Zoom and lo and behold! Katie connected me to engineer Danny Tawn. I went into the kitchen, put my machine on the camera, and he diagnosed my problem straight away. Turns out my lovely Gaggia machine is really clever - you can set it to fill a specific size of cup - I had mistakenly re set it to dispense a teaspoonful after the de-scale. So not only is machine nice and clean - I can now make an espresso in my own size cup and set it to stop and not overflow. What's not to like?
In these days when we all expect awful customer service and never being able to get in touch with a human, this stood out - outstanding customer service. Thanks Danny and Katie and Gaggia

Poor Customer Support and Questionable Dealership Practices

I reached out to Gaggia directly on their Facebook page regarding a warranty issue, as their website doesn’t provide a contact email. My message was read but never replied to. This lack of response from the manufacturer is disappointing and suggests poor customer care.

The issue arose with Rigtig Kaffe, one of Gaggia’s dealerships, which refuses to honor the 24-month warranty stated on Gaggia’s website. I purchased a Gaggia espresso machine as a gift for my partner, and the handle for the filter broke after only 1.5 years of use. Rigtig Kaffe refuses to process a warranty claim, claiming the issue is outside the warranty period. This feels like a clear product defect, especially considering the handle is made of durable plastic.

Rigtig Kaffe also implements practices that discourage customers from submitting warranty claims, such as charging an 895 DKK inspection fee if no fault is found. Their handling of this situation reflects poorly on Gaggia as a brand, as it raises concerns about the dealerships they choose to represent them.

I urge Gaggia to review their partnerships and improve their customer support. Ignoring customers who attempt to escalate valid concerns only damages the trust and reputation of the brand.

In assoluto la macchina da caffè…

In assoluto la macchina da caffè peggiore mai avuta in 22 anni. Perde acqua, il caffè non esce bene poiché rimangono i residui. Provata sia con cialde che caffè in polvere. Ho provato a pulirla per rimuovere il calcare ma le viti, posizionate malissimo, si tolgono difficilmente.State alla larga davvero

Misleading


I’ve just brought a Gran Gaggia Prestige thinking I was baying a product made in Italy and to my surprise on the box I find a made in China? I wrongly thought that Gaggia slogan was Proudly Italian? Also very disappointed with the design, can’t use the single ground coffee filter because is not pressurised for one use ground coffee, the tray’s is very difficult to keep clean and the steam wand doesn’t extend to allow me to use it.

Gaggia support coffee-lovers!

I have a Gaggia Classic which (once you get the hang of it) turns out an excellent cup. There are many additions/alterations/upgrades to this sturdy machine -so it appears they want coffee lovers to enjoy a good brew even if they can't afford top-of-the-range automatic machines which cost 3x as much. It just takes a little more effort...

macchina a cialde Gaggia modello VIVA…

macchina a cialde Gaggia modello VIVA STYLE acquistata 12/01/24, si guasta il 23/01/24. Portata in assistenza presso loro riparatore autorizzato sostituiscono ben 2 termostati. Si accorgono che non funziona anche il led sul pannello frontale. Al momento aspettano che arrivi il pezzo ed io sono senza macchina del caffè da ben 10 giorni. Cerco di contattare il servizio clienti con prefisso di Milano e rispondono da un call center di Atene. Sono veramente deluso. Da una ditta seria come la Gaggia mi sarei aspettato molto di più, molta più celerità nell'intervento ma soprattutto la Gaggia avrebbe dovuto sostituirmi la macchina per intero, avendo funzionato solo per 15 giorni.

Gaggia engineers Zoom assistance

Had a problem (first one) with our much loved Gaggia Brera, I persevered with the manual for a while - no joy so phoned Gaggia in Elland and they sent me a zoom invite which two of their engineers logged into, they talked me through to a solution in only a few minutes - bloody good effort and nice guys.

Great experience with Gaggia zoom.

With a three week wait for a coffee machine service I opted for a zoom meeting with the technicians at Gaggia, Elland.
The meeting was ultra easy to set up and the technician, Tony was knowledgeable, helpful and guided me through checking my machine.
