Item out of stock took several weeks to fulfil order.

My wife ordered items over 2 weeks ago, some were "in stock", one item was due in "Thursday". That will be 3 weeks on Thursday and it still isn't available for collection. I then (foolishly) ordered another item last week that said it would be available for Collection in 2 days. It is now a week and it still isn't available. Be aware, if it isn't in stock, their collection estimates are rubbish!

Used FR Jones a couple of times now and would recommend them as the first place to look for any garden, arb and horticultural equipment.

Excellent service. Mountfield electress 38 mower gives a lovely cut and is so easy to push, not a heavy mower, good price really pleased with purchase. Fast delivery. First time I have bought with this company, highly recommended.

Had to cancel multiple orders due to increasing and increasing delivery times. 2 months waiting for a bar and chain and over 4 months for hedge trimmers. Another company delivered in days.

Received my Arbotec jacket promptly but still waiting for my chainsaw bar and trousers.

Self propelled brush cutter was delivered quickly and efficiently by a local carrier. Competitive price and robust machine.
Product was supplied direct by third party rather than from F R Jones, probably explains why communication was not the best. The initial paper work provided by email was inconsistent, and the brush cutter was delivered without prior warning.

Spent Easter weekend browsing the website and finding some Easter eggs. To my surprise I got a call saying I had won 2nd prize. A couple of days later a box turned up with a Makita Hedge trimmer in it, popped a battery in it and it works great. Will be trying it out on some holly this weekend.

For an item that was in stock for immediate despatch as per their website - without any supplier caveats, (with funds transferred and debited on the same date for goods, on the 8th of February 2023), I find it somewhat curious that it has only just been delivered, 16th April 2023. If we were to apply the same approach to our clients as FR Jones do to theirs we simply would not be in business. A completely unacceptable level of service by any measure with total disregard for their clients' business requirements. This review has been rated as one star as it is not possible to rate zero or lower. In my experience, FR Jones appear to have adopted incompetence as a standard and mediocrity as an aspiration. I won't be giving them any business in the future and strongly suggest that anyone contemplating doing so read this review and look for alternative suppliers.

Friendly and helpful, when one of my items was delaying everything else substantially they offered to post everything else out and send the delayed item separately at no extra cost.

Recently purchased a stihl shrub cutter from this company. the whole process from ordering to next day delivery was just perfect. would gladly purchase from them again
