Despite satisfying all the lending criteria for BTL the valuation came back with resale issues so Fleet refused to give full offer. Fleet either need to change their lending criteria or use valuvation firms who understand the property market, they even got the floors wrong!! The information given on their valuvation report are factually incorrect! Their advisers have giving wrong information and we lost the valuvation fee. Initially they said they would refund the fee then they refused to refund it!

Fleet are really easy to use. Common sense underwriters and everyone there to help. Application easy to key too.

Case was offered- criteria is excellent, however they did request a lot of documents, perhaps more than other lenders would which sowed the case down a little.

You are asking for far too many documents which are completely not necessary. This does not help anybody, not me as I need to come up with silly explanations re those documents. It does not help clients who need to move on quickly. And I am not sure how this assist Fleet other then paying more for admin work?!

All the staff are friendly and helpful albeit Underwriting is quite lengthy.

Not the smoothest process on what should have been a relatively simple Remortgage, only resolved when the excellent BDM got involved.

As broker my first dealings with Fleet Mortgages was a absolute pleasure. The process and requirements were very clear and also along the way i had several calls giving me updates which was refreshing. One thing that particularly stood out for me was the pre valuation call where Fleet just wanted a bit more information on the property so it gave the valuer enough initial information so no shocks when they would turn up. I would use them again 100% and encourage other brokers to have a look at Fleet Mortgages

I had a quirky case that needed to reach offer stage as soon as possible. After discussing it with my BDM, Stella, during her visit, she clearly outlined how Fleet could support the scenario. She, Hannah, and the wider team took great care of the case, which has now successfully completed. The underwriter was excellent throughout as well.

Hannah Chatfield was amazing to deal with, I had a complex Limited Company SPV Buy to Let Purchase, Hannah & Fleet Mortgages took a reasonable view on the complexity and took the time to understand the overall picture. This case dragged on with other lenders but Fleet were able to progress this quickly and save my client from losing the property. Overall great experience. Thanks again.

Got a bit stuck with POD but BDM helps move case through to offer

My BDM Charlotte was extremely helpful. She responded to my queries promptly, and for complex queries she would give me a call to discuss over the phone. The underwriters also spoken to me about this complex case to help me understand the requirements. All in all the experience is very positive!

I spent 1.5hrs on the phone with a BDM Emma and what was originally a single enquiry turned into multiple business opportunities. I will definitely be looking to place new business and the proof will be in the case(s) completing.

I found my experience with Fleet truly exceptional. I was working closely with the BDM Lockwood and Sam who was the office BDM and they helped me progress this case to a offer successfully. This was a portfolio remortgage which had its challenges throughout, but with their expert guidance, I was able to navigate the potential pitfalls that would have come my way.
