Disappointing Year 11 group photo
I received my daughter's Year 11 group photo, which cost £32. This felt expensive, but for a once in a lifetime memory, I decided to buy. The photo arrived as expected, but I was disappointed by the quality of photography. To my eye, the photographer had shot into the sun, meaning the photo seemed over-exposed, and the clarity on the students was poor. At the very centre of the shot the clarity was acceptable, but at the outside of the group, the faces are quite blurry. I complained to both the school and Fizz. In fairness, Fizz replied, but ultimately saying there's nothing they would/could do. So, £32 down and a very disappointing service. I estimate there were about 250 students in the photo, so with each paying around £30, that's £7,500. Producing the photos/frames likely costs £1,000, so perhaps there's little incentive to focus on quality? Hopefully the school will take parent feedback into consideration.
