First Tech was established in 1961 and was originally called the Civil Service Credit Union and later became the Telecom Eireann employees credit union and then ESCCU. It was renamed First Tech Credit Union in 2020. Key member benefits include competitive rates on personal loans, various savings options and insurance benefits at no extra cost. I have been with first tech for a long time i have to say the staff are so lovely and helpful in every way.
Even down to there app it is so easy to use, to be able to download and upload your documents.
When you call them the staff are so lovely on the phone.
I even got my daughter to join via the app. Even she taught that was so easy to do. Now she is happy saving with first tech.

The credit union is easy to access whether by phone or email. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is good for loans and the service fast on each occasion.

Loan process
Online application ok found it hard to up load documents
Disappointed to have to ring to sort out loan payments as money not been transferred across and loan showed in arrears. Worried this will affect my credit rating.
