I ordered a bbq cover. Two weeks later, I am still waiting for it to arrive. No communication at all from first furniture. I wouldn’t mind so much if they sent updates/ communicated, but in fact all I have recently is a request for a trust pilot review (while still waiting for goods to arrive). I won’t be ordering from them again

They have taken payment from an item and I am yet to hear from them to confirm delivery.
Delivery was supposed to be last week.

Not good at all so far!!! I am left feeling worried about my order as I have heard nothing at all from First Furniture during the 2 weeks since I placed my order with them and paid for my goods. The items purchased were listed as being In Stock when I placed my order.
I have during that time emailed them, quoting my order reference from my payment details asking for at least an email giving me confirmation of my order. I have had no reply at all.
It is surely standard practice with online orders to send you confirmation of your order and then to follow that up with an expected delivery date.
Feeling annoyed and troubled - there is no excuse for the inadequate handling of orders these days. I should definitely have been given details about my purchase. I am thinking that soon I will have to obtain a refund through the sage pay system.

I appreciate you may not be prepared/set up as an on line business but surely a delivery update is not beyond your capabilities.

Very disappointed with their customer service. I purchased a garden patio set mid March for £1,000. They emailed me on 18th March as follows:

"Hi there
New stock arrived yesterday and will be delivered next week to you and the couriers will text to book in delivery.
thanks for you patience"

It never turned up and subsequent chasing I finally received an email yesterday

"In regards to your order we are awaiting stock arriving by Approx. (Mid May) and you are looking at delivery to yourself within approx. (7-10 working days) upon arrival. There has been a Delay on this which unfortunately we have no control over."

So what happened to the new stock that arrived on 17th March? Not impressed.

Ordered a new bed, drawers and dressing table on boxing day 2020 with expected delivery January 15th.
I then received an email to advise delivery was postponed u till February 20th but they could deliver the drawers and dressing table within 3-5days which I accepted.

1st March still nothing had arrived, tried calling but they're closed due to covid. Emailed them again to chase and it's taken them nearly a month to reply to advise delivery will now be April 12th.

Really shocking service and can't get hold of anyone to sort it out.

Update: April 14th April
Still no delivery... chased with customer services who have advised delivery will be next week... let's see!

excellent product at a good price
delivered by two men carried up to my flat and assembled for me, excellent service, very pleased all round.
only criticism is in delivery time being much longer than quoted on website.
otherwise Excellent.

My 1st and undoubtedly my only experience procuring goods from First Furniture (identified also as Morale UK) has been abysmal. When my order was originally placed (7th Feb), the portal listed that the product being purchased was available (2 items in stock), with expected delivery within 7 working days. Subsequent to order being placed, received update from First Furniture that no stock was available and earliest delivery would take min 3wks.
Finally, received delivery of item on 3rd March. On inspection, it was identified that the item had several marks, scrapes and discolorations suggesting that the item delivered was either 2nd hand or an ex-demo item, which First Furniture had provided simply to fulfil the delayed order. Evidence of this has been provided to First Furniture on 3/March, but as yet I have received no sufficient explanation apart from an initial update that they are in contact with Manufacturer, which frankly I perceive as a delaying tactic. Furthermore, the opportunity to get a resolution to this issue is hampered as First Furniture have conveniently discontinued all communications, apart from periodic mail responses.

Our first order was not processed and when we contacted First Furniture we were told the product was no longer available!

We are still waiting delivery. Apparently Hermes tried to deliver it and sent a text saying we were not home but we have CCTV and they had NOT been. We had to pay a further amount for a delivery selected for Friday (stayed home all day)and we are STILL waiting.

Originally sent the wrong product - no phone number for customer service which is a pain. Took a few emails to get a response, but to be fair, they did sort out sending the correct bed which arrived a week later than the original. Glad they sorted it pretty quickly but not sure I’d risk it again. Product itself is great and good price too.

Ordered four items of bedroom furniture only the bedside table came undamaged the rest was very badly damaged and visible before we even removed the items from the packaging .i can only assume it was packed damaged . Impossible to get through on the phone so now exchanging many emails to get my money back .

I ordered furniture at beginning March, I get a call to say out of stock and won’t get it until end of May and only get 5% discount (only £14). I tried other furniture and also out of stock! Not good enough!

Excellent chairs

The worst service I have ever received. I ordered a chest of drawers on the 27th January and was advised that the product would be delivered on the 25th February. When the 25th February arrived I had no email to state the product had been dispatched. I have since emailed them twice with no response! It is now a week past my delivery date and I have no idea if I will ever be receiving the item and can’t get in contact with them for a refund.

I ordered two chairs for the kitchen. They looked good. I read all the small print.
When delivered they required assembly. No mention of that on the website.
They were also sent without assembly instructions.
These were provided promptly but are incomprehensible for a layman.
I have asked for my money back. As a senior citizen I wonder if the refund and arrangements to pick up the chairs will occur before I die.
Does anybody have any thoughts on this point?

Good quality chair for the price and delivered on time. Found it a little tricky to assemble. Overall happy with the product and service.
