Please manage your staff properly and stop humiliating your customers.
What I described in my review is my genuine account of what I experienced. During the incident, your staff member came so close to my face, and behaved in a manner that made me feel sufficiently threatened, that I explicitly asked him, “Are you going to hit me?” None of the other staff members present intervened or attempted to de-escalate the situation. I was ultimately told to leave the store.
You now state that the incident was “documented” and “recorded”. If CCTV or other contemporaneous recordings exist, they should provide an objective record of how close your employee came to me, how the interaction unfolded, whether any staff member intervened, and the circumstances in which I was asked to leave.
I did not continue pursuing this matter at the time, but that should not be misrepresented as an official finding that my account was false. I stand by my description of my experience and welcome any genuinely independent evidence that establishes what occurred.

I am extremely concerned by this response.
You have publicly claimed that both Police and Anti-Discrimination authorities investigated this matter and determined that my account was false. This is a very serious allegation.
To my knowledge, I have never been informed by Tasmania Police or any Anti-Discrimination authority that my account was found to be false.
If you are asserting that an official investigation reached such a conclusion, please identify the relevant Police and Anti-Discrimination authorities, provide the relevant case or reference numbers, and specify the findings you are relying upon when making this statement publicly.
My review describes my experience at your Hobart store as I experienced it. I chose not to pursue the matter further at the time. That does not give you the right to publicly characterise my account as “false” by attributing such a conclusion to government authorities without substantiation.
Given the seriousness of your allegation, I ask that you either provide evidence supporting your claim or publicly correct and withdraw it. I am also happy for Trustpilot to review any supporting documentation from either side.
______
On 16 September 2025, I purchased a pair of shoes from the Find Your Feet official website and arranged to pick them up at the Hobart store. As I was approaching the store, I received an email informing me that the item was out of stock, but I was offered the option to exchange it for another style or size, to which I agreed.
When I arrived at the store, one staff member asked me to wait for another colleague to assist me. While I was waiting, I picked up a pair of shoes on display to have a look. At that moment, the same staff member suddenly approached me, snatched the shoes out of my hands, and angrily told me that I would be refunded immediately and that I must leave the store. I was shocked and repeatedly requested that he speak to me politely, but he refused.
I asked whether this was how they treated customers who had shopped at their stores many times. He mocked me, saying it was my first time shopping with them. In reality, I have shopped many times at the Launceston store, including twice this month, and the staff there have always been very friendly.
As a result, I did not receive the product I ordered or the agreed exchange. Instead, I was treated in a humiliating and unfair manner.
