Zero accountability for missing parts
I’d bought from them twice and the items they sent from their US stock arrived great. I’d seen good recommendations on Reddit, and my previous orders had gone well, so I decided to buy a very limited grail figure of mine that was nearly 500USD after shipping from overseas. It arrived and had a little damage, I could fix that- but more importantly it was missing a crucial part of the item. I had the full unboxing, multiple pictures of the empty packaging without the parts, etc. I reached out and Figurechoice said they’d contact the studio, and then about a day or two later messaged again and said the studio had ‘no more replacements’ (not sure how the studio didn’t have my parts still when they never sent them in the first place, did they knowingly sell an incomplete figure at full price?) and offered like a 15% refund on just the figure price, not including shipping (which was almost half the total cost!). Or a full refund if I spent the $200 to ship it back to the studio, minus the return shipping fee, and refused to provide a paid for label. PayPal apparently can’t help me because they offered a ‘refund’, even if it’s a bs workaround one. Why in the world would I pay 200 to wind up with absolutely nothing? Who knew I should have taken the garbage partial refund, not too happy with PayPal either.
Don’t risk buying anything from Figurechoice, apparently, especially if it comes from overseas. What a joke.
