Feral Hosting Recenzje 

At one time I would have said that Feral Hosting were amazing... maybe a year or so ago.

I had to stop using them last month because their service went down hill rapidly. Speeds decreased seemingly over night and their website crashed just before last Christmas.

Although I have no proof of this, I can only assume that other people have had to jump ship and move on to the likes of Seedboxes.cc, who have, no doubt, been capitalising on this fact.

It is a shame, as the two guys that ran the service seemed like thoroughly nice chaps.

Early last year I had them for service and it was amazing... Fast, never any issues, great support... But this time around (the past month) I've had nothing but problems. Constantly having to put in support tickets to have my slot rebooted, problems adding torrents, problems deleting torrents. Not what they used to be and would never return to them ever.

For a tenner a month I get a full TB of storage and a blazing fast connection for my torrenting. I've got SSH access so I can setup goodies like a Pydio frontend for my downloads.

Good stuff.

I used them for some time but I found most aspects lacking with this company. The provided tools are fairly basic and don't compare well with other providers. There were many annoying persistent technical issues: speeds would slow semi-regularly for a few days; software crashes would occur and you'd need to tunnel in and reset it yourself; unexpected downtime for 12 hours or more every month or two. There was usually something frustrating happening. At the end of last year, they somehow managed to lose the entirety of their customer data and their website, which was the breaking point for me.

Worse, customer service is slow to respond and unhelpful, and can be downright rude or passive-aggressive.

My overall impression of this company is of general incompetence and immaturity. Perhaps if the winds are right and you're lucky, it might do. Best avoided. I personally would never use them again.

I have been using the service for 5 months now and I have never knew there was so much I could do with my server. Initially i thought i could only ise it as a seedbox but now i'm even running a private site en several other appliences 24/7 for only 10£ a month. Definately worth checking out IF you know what you are doing.

Signed up a couple of times and the account always gets rejected. No reason. Do they even bother taking payment?

I have been using Feralhosting for allmost two years now. I must say I'm impressed. The prices are fenomnol! 10£, and you're up and running with 1TB harddrive space with 10Gb/s upload and download!
The support team is very friendly and there are a ton of software and support options.
6/5 - if it was possible!

Been with Feral about 18 months. They were (and still are AFAIK) the best value seedbox provider around.

They had a major issue in December 2013, when they migrated the servers to their new datacentre in the Netherlands. It was extremely frustrating at the time, but regular Twitter updates and a webpage detailing ongoing issues, meant that at least I was kept informed. All customers who were effected were given a choice of compensation. I took the storage upgrade and now have over 1TB for a very reasonable price.

This is a company that definitely looks after its loyal customers.

Since then I haven't experienced any downtime and the service is blisteringly quick. In adition to a web based management interface, you can also login to the console using SSH, so power users have a lot of control.

Overall an excellent service, strongly recommended!

Gode og pålidelige hastigheder. Nu hvor de er flyttet til Amsterdam og de har løst alle deres flytnings problemer, er de igen i toppen. Derudover giver de også kompensation, hver gang de laver en fejl.

Feral Hosting supplied my first seed box, so i didn't really know how they compared to others. For value for money it's hard to complain, they give you plenty of storage for your money(if you buy 3 months up front) and speeds are generally pretty good. I've had no cause for concern from customer services, they have responded to me quickly each time.
Trouble started for me in November 2013 when Feral Hosting decided to move the servers, something they said would take 3 days when in fact a month later they still aren't working. A lack on communication, only using twitter for update that only the most skilled and knowledgeable would understand. They are still sending out requests for payment(15 days earlier, i might add) yet their service just doesn't work even now (19th December). NO compensation, no emails, it's been incredibly bad experience. Well I had enough in the end and have moved to seedboxes.cc. Price was pretty much the same as FH with the same claimed speeds but with slightly less storage.
In reality it's so much better all round!
Everything about it works so much better, smoother and the speeds particularly the upload is greatly improved. Getting your content from the remote server to your PC is massively improved, with speeds using filezilla maxing out my net connection, which FH never did even with multiple files. The website itself is more profession with all the info you need to make setting up as easy as possible. I've been very impressed with them and they are a far more professional outfit than FH. I could easily mention another several improvement, small though they are but it makes all the difference.
Feral Hosting have a lot of improving to do from the website, to customer services and a number of other issues. I hope they get there but for now they have lost me as a customer and I can't see my going back.

Jeg har da aldrig været med til noget lignede. Når ens seedbox ikke virker og man opretter en support sag bliver man totalt ignoreret. Det er kun et enkelt mands virksomhed og det kan mærkes. Feral hosting er godt og billigt så længe det virker, men har man problemer så er der ingen hjælp at hente. Der er en grund til at det er billigt.

Awful customer service, does not answer when you have issues. Cheap for a reason, go elsewhere,

Works perfectly.

No bad surprise so far. You get what you pay for, no less, and even a bit more. New servers (UK-based) run fast and stable, no peering issues contrary to OVH-based hosts. For basic needs, it simply works; for advanced uses, further customization and applications are no problem. The comprehensive FAQ covers virtually all topics, and should the need arise their staff and various users are there to assist (through IRC) - the icing on the cake. :)

Small team who goes above and beyond to help you with pretty much whatever you need. While the main usage of their server slots is as seedboxes, there's a bunch of other ways to use them, as VPN's, proxies, hosting of websites or files, the list goes on. I've been in contact with them quite a few times by now, and their support has always been excellent, regardless of how unreasonable I've been.

Highly recommended.

I use Feralhosting partly for the seedbox (for hosting legit game patch torrents for my clan), and partly for the VPN. The seedboxes offer brilliant upload speeds, and the VPN is fast and reliable. The prices are slightly higher than what I paid for my previous host, but they're worth every penny. I've used their services for more than one year and only once had to contact support - who resolved my problem quickly. I highly recommend this service.

A friend of mine told me about feralhosting.com and I decided to try it.
I have nothing bad to say about them.
