Took part in the Luxury Travel Guide Awards. Nice people and invited me to an event in London which was free to attend. The Luxury Travel Guide is a nice magazine. Would definitely be involved again.

Having being contacted yearly to participate in their annual awards our business decided this might be the year to try out this competition and see where our business stands.

We were sent a questionaire to be filled to get information about the business which was not filled in and sent by the deadline.

A few weeks later we were sent an email saying we won the awards even tho we did not fill in any of the questionaires or give in any other information.

Having spoken to their employee we were persuaded into signing up for a piece in their magazine for an additional fee. An invoice was sent but we failed to make payment by the given date and we asked to cancel to due unforseen circumstances.

We were told we could not cancel as this was an agreement which we did not sign any terms & conditions for.

The business was then contacted for the next month and threatened if payment was not made.

We would like to inform any other small to medium size businesses to not fall for these scammers traps no matter how good it looks for your business.

An email was sent showing the work which they did. It was a page with a pic taken from our social media of the business and a write up about the business from our website was copied and pasted on this page. This was the "work" in which they were insisting we pay for.

From our experience reviews help a business much more than having some award from a company which adds no value to your business.

I was contacted by Fenice Media in regards to putting an advert for my website in one of their E-Magazines. After showing interest but without making an advert, I ceased contact with the company after having a car accident. I was sent an email a couple of months later with a link to a released magazine. To my great surprise, the magazine featured a poorly pieced together feature advertisement for my business comprised images and text pulled straight from my website. This advert was put together by Fenice staff without my permission. I have been invoiced for several hundred pounds which I have obviously refused to pay. For the past couple of months I have been harassed by debt collection for money for work which was not approved or commissioned by myself. If the advert had created business for me then fair enough I might have paid up however their E-magazine created no sales for my company, I know this because I have tracked the link from their online magazine to my website through analytics. Happy to provide evidence on request. Do not work with this company.
