Staff polite and very helpful
Staff polite and very helpful. Recliner chairs kindly stored for us at Lee Mill for a month. One well known make of electric recliner chair faulty on delivery so awaiting engineer to visit on 26th May to ascertain damage. All in all a good experience of Fairway Furniture’s service.

Excellent service , good communication on delivery, all the furniture has been delivered quickly, and within time frame given. packed really well.
We had 3 beds , one sofa, sideboard and bedroom chair delivered at different times .

Fairway furniture St Austell,Andrea was so helpful helping use decide on exactly what we wanted.Nothing was too much trouble.From ordering in store,keeping in touch right up to delivery.
Even another member of staff that I spoke to on the phone measured the sofa we looked at in store to reassure me on size.

Sleepeezee… Mattress
I recently purchased a Sleepeezee Jessica Performance mattress from Fairway Furniture and I wanted to leave a genuinely positive review of what was an excellent experience from start to finish.
The whole process was professional, well organised and customer-focused throughout. Fairway Furniture kept me informed at every stage, contacting me several days in advance with a scheduled delivery date and time slot, which was extremely helpful. On the morning of delivery, I also received a text update advising that the delivery team were en route, and impressively they arrived exactly on time as stated.
The delivery team themselves were outstanding — professional, friendly, smartly presented and clearly very experienced. They carefully assessed the delivery logistics within the home, removed and took away my old mattress for recycling, and delivered the new mattress to the room with absolute care and precision. Nothing felt rushed and the whole experience was smooth, respectful and highly efficient.
The mattress itself is fantastic and I am extremely pleased with the purchase, but what really stood out was the overall level of customer service and professionalism shown throughout the entire experience.
Well done Fairway Furniture — you never fail to provide the absolute best customer experience. I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for quality furniture backed up by genuinely first-class service.

2 star for the environment
2 star for the environment. 1 star for the incompetent inept often unhelpful bordering on awkward staff.
We ve been going to fairway for over a decade. But we rarely buy anything anymore because they never know anything about their own products and their staff turnover is constant presumably due to these issues.
This site asks for a date but it's every visit that's lacking.
We met one of the staff in a rival store and they claimed they quit because of how poorly run fairway has become. We certainly have found that to be true.
Possibly a management issue?
Will keep visiting in the hope of a better shopping experience. I hope they fix there issue soon as we believe in supporting local stores but fairway don't make it easy.

As with any business, staff members move on to new opportunities and this can be for a variety of reasons. The Newton Abbot store in particular has had several new team members over the past year, many of whom have years of experience in the furniture sector.
It is disappointing that the former staff member you spoke to seems to have such a negative view of our company, but that is not for us to comment on, other than to say that the business seeks the best performance from every member of our store teams.
As a family owned and run business, we strive to be the best and we will continue to work hard to deliver that to our current and future customers.
