Told us about the interest free credit option which we realised we would be stupid not to take. Delivery was spot on time, 2 guys to carry goods in, all packaging was checked by delivery guys & boxes checked against their delivery ticket.

We arrived at the showroom looking for a mattress, were greeted by Jason Sewell and he showed us various mattresses that what suit us . We were very impressed with his knowledge of the products

Libby, the sales lady was very helpful, and informative. We visited twice e before purchasing, and were treated exceptionally well on both occasions. No hard sell!!!

Staff very good, service very good. Not overly impressed with the mattress itself, says cooling mattress but it’s boiling!

Having a really difficult time with Fairways Furniture. And they are not listening or taking responsibility.Telling me there is not a problem, when there is. They have sent round two different (independent people) who have standard checks and are not listening or respecting what’s the problem as it doesn’t fit their criteria. One stayed for 5 mins. Just so they could say they had been. I was about to buy a mattress in the Jan sale, when one of the assistants said it wasn’t the best choice. I went into the store twice. I have a toddler so not the easiest time to relax. A shop is a very false environment. You get on to see if it’s ok. Then your partner but it’s all very odd to be honest. I have been looking for a firm mattress. But this mattress moves you every time your partner moves. It’s very disconcerting and I haven’t had a good night sleep since. Everyone has the right to a good night’s sleep. Especially if you have young children or work hard as we all do. What’s the point in saying it has this feature (posturepedic) or technology that supports the sides from sagging if you feel that you being moved about all over the place. It’s such an expensive item. I’ve been continuously been shut down and told there is no problem. Sealey’s posturepedic - The heart and soul of sleep - that’s the tag line and what a joke. I would like basic respect please. Don’t buy this mattress or from Fairways. It’s so old fashioned. Poor quality (but expensive) item. Poor design.

No option to reply to the below - so added here - My partner did not say that! As with the first person who came, your 'engineer' didn't listen, and wrote what they wanted to hear. Very disturbing to see this untruth.
On top of which, the mattress boasts a link spring system that is meant to keep it firm. Except if either of you moves, the other feels like they're on a jelly being wobbled around. You're not listening - or engaging with this - it is a functional issue, and prevents decent sleep. In this regard, the mattress is old fashioned. The shop is coming across as old fashioned. The attitude is old fashioned. We went for reliability, and got something which does not function the way it's described. We could have spent 30% of the price on a foam mattress and got something better. We were about to buy a different mattress in your showroom, and you advised us this one was better. We trusted you, and now you're avoiding the issue. We would like to return the mattress and have our money back please.

3rd time - and further to your 2nd response:
We have not said the mattress is faulty. We've said you mis-sold it. It does not function the way you told us it would. You have sent two 'independent' inspectors to our house (you paid for them, you appointed them, how independent they then are is a matter of question). One spent most of his time measuring the mattress, or standing in silence while he typed into his phone (literally for about 20 minutes). He barely engageed with us, and then misreported, hence sending the 2nd person. They stayed for a few minutes only, didn't listen, and then clearly fabricated a response to you - given that you're reporting back to us things we never said.
You aren't engaging, or listening to us. You keep telling us that we 'believe the mattress to be faulty'. No - we're not saying it is broken, we're saying it doesn't function the way you & Sealey claim it does.
We told your sales team we needed a mattress that was firm and that would allow us both to sleep soundly without one's movement disturbing the other. We thought another mattress might be better - your team told us 'no, this is the one for you' (because of the anti-collapse measure on the outside of the mattress). We took your advice. And it doesn't work.

You mis-sold to us, and mis-advised us. That is the basis of our complaint. Hopefully this is clear enough? This is why we feel you are old-fashioned, it's old-school 'upselling' and then misrepresenting what we said, and what you said, when a complaint is raised. We would like our money back please, and bring this to a close.
